Kalispera, My mum and I just got back after visiting the beautiful Porto Galini Seaside Resort & Spa. We left very satisfied and we are already planning to come back soon.  This hotel is stunning you get flabbergasted when you just first enter the reception with their view.  General manager Evan Demiane & and his staff is professional, helpful & take very good care of their guests! The room was very clean. The whole hotel was very clean infact. Their private beach was amazing with wonderful crystal, clear, clean turquoise water.  you can also loan kajak or Padel for free. Which was a great way to spend your beach days with.  You can also use two of their pools which are located so you can see that beautiful view while swimming.  When it comes to the food you will taste a bit of heaven each day. The breakfast & dinner was made by the one and only executive chef Emmanuele. You can really taste his passion in the food. And he does some magnificent sculptures out of butter or fruit or cheese. So the eye gets something wonderful to look at while eating.  On Sundays it was Greek night, which included Greek specialties to taste and dance & music. I got a chance to try out that Zorba dance :) The closest town is called Nidri 10 min by bus. The bus station is just outside the hotel. Or if you prefer a taxi is around 10 €. There you can see the lovely harbour, shops and restaurants & get a glimpse of the island Scorpios.  We took a lovely boat trip from Nidri's harbour so we got a chance to see islands, beaches and papanikolis cave.   From Nidri town you can walk or take a cab to Nidri's waterfall. Which is worth seeing! It's a bit tricky the road to get to the main waterfall around 300 meters. So make sure to have some good shoes on.   And of course try to take a boat or bus or car trip to the west coast of the island and see beautiful Porto Katsiki Beach  & Kathisma Beach. See you soon Lefkada & Porto Galini Seaside Resort & Spa!

Hotel is so good that we decided to return, and it really was worth it. The service is great and food is excellent. It is good to have half board, as there are no restaurants nearby. The hotel ground is beautiful and well kept, with plentiful of beautiful flowers everywhere. Rooms are clean and many of them have a breathtakingly beautiful sea view. Hotel is very high quality, but not snobbish. The private hotel beach is great, with sandy beach and plenty of sand beds and crystal clear turquoise water. You can try sup-board and kayaking for free on the beach. There are also many well kept pools. Special thanks for pressed orange juice on the breakfast. Lot of stairs on hotel ground, so probably not perfect for those having difficulties to walk. We truly hope to come back again.

Everything was very good. (don't like superlatives). Everything was clean, the room was nice, clean and spacious, we loved the beach and the sea with crystal clear turquoise water. The food was very good and it varied nicely. Special thanks for fresh squeezed orange juice on the breakfast. The service was nice in a natural way. We have already booked this hotel for our next spring vacation. It is nice to know, that something like this is waiting in few months. Highly recommend.

I stayed here with 2 other family members, occupying 2 rooms when attending the island for a wedding. On arrival, security guard the gate and later I found out that no one is allowed into the hotel unless staying there, not even into the lobby which is a good & bad thing as other family members staying at other location could not come in to see us. Check-in was quick & easy and the staff were friendly although not very informative as I had to read about most of the facilities from the leaflets in the rooms. The reception area is massive with a long reception desk situated in a very large lobby full of plenty seating areas some of which look really trendy and with tables or coffee tables. There is also a seating area for welcome drinks with nougat nibbles, an information area and a bar with plenty of bar stools, a large flat screen TV and doors that lead onto a balcony that gives a panoramic scenic view of the sea, mountains & the rest of the hotel which looks like a Greek village as some of the rooms are in white house-looking apartments with blue front doors. I was given one of the rooms that looked like a small street houses set among courtyards and trees. As you walked in, there was twin beds pushed together with bedside tables and lighting, a wall mounted long mirror with hooks and the door to the bathroom before 2 steps down to a 2 seated settee, a table with 2 chairs, a 3 door floor to ceiling wardrobe with a safe and slippers in, a desk with 1 drawer and a cupboard, 2 other cupboards with beach towels, tea/coffee making facility and a pre-filled fridge with drinks. This area led through a back door to a small walled outdoor area with a small table and 2 chairs and a rack for drying clothes. It was a garden view as I was on ground level but I believe the higher level had sea view. The bathroom had no bath but a walk in shower with top and side shower heads, a sink with a wall mounted mirror and a double sided mirror of different strength, a wall mounted hairdryer, a shelf with toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, cotton pads & cotton tips) toilet & B-day. There was also a self-controlled air-conditioning unit and a small flat screen TV. My other family members stayed in the execute side of the hotel which were more like a typical studio style hotel room situated within the main hotel building. Their room was larger with a longer wardrobe, dressing table, larger flat screen, a 2 seater settee, a kingsize bed, and a larger balcony that has a table and 2 chairs with a great panoramic view of the sea, mountains & hotel. Their bathroom was also larger with a bath and separate shower. To be honest I preferred my room as it had more character with the windows and shutters and house-looking features than the executive room that was larger but just looked like a typical hotel room. The hotel has lots of steps as it has a slope down to the beach, restaurants, bar & swimming pool which was OK when going down but hard work when coming back up so it would be difficult for people with walking difficulties although they help by using caddies to ferry people around and have step-free slopes with a few lifts nearer to the top. There's also a games room, library & video/social room, a shop with reasonably priced items, tennis courts, swimming pools, a spa area and the beach with water sports. The spa is free to use for guess at certain times (9am to 3pm, I think ). In there is 2 indoor pools with jets and 1 with jacuzzi end, a separate jacuzzi, 2 saunas, steam room and gym. There are a few loungers and treatment rooms for paid massages and treatments plus a relaxation room. The whole spa area is tranquil and relaxing with a large semi-circular window showing off the spectacular view of the sea. There are 2 main restaurants and a bar that has a great cocktail lady. 1 restaurant serves the breakfast and other board meals, the other is al-a-carte and serves food to order which we ate at once and was very satisfied with. The breakfast is very adequate with a vast variety of Greek and non-Greek foods, hot & cold, sweet & savory which is suitable for all taste buds. The hotel organised themed nights such as Greek night and seafood evening where entertainment is also put on. The private beach is narrow and fairly long with plenty of loungers and decking for easy walking. There are some free to use canoes and standing boards and other free and chargeable water sports. The hotel is situated along a main road not within walking distance of shops, bars or restaurants but the local bus runs along the road and taxis are very cheap which the receptionists seemed happy to organise each time for us. The only downside to this hotel is that there is no iron so clothes has to be sent to their chargeable ironing service. Overall a great hotel with lots to do, great food, friendly staff and panoramic views.

This is a beautiful place. The rooms are spotless, the food is excellent, the views are really special. I am unable to give 5 stars which the facilities deserve, purely because of the poor attitude of some of the staff. I found both the security and the reception staff particularly unfriendly and unhelpful, bordering on rude. I rarely criticise, preferring to look for the positives but for this reason alone I would not return, which is a shame because it is a lovely place.
