Located on a turquoise beach at the southeastern tip of the island of Rhodes, Lindian Village is an indulging hide-away dedicated to satisfying the needs of today’s discerning travelers. Settled amidst a lush garden of tropical and indigenous flowers and trees the resort is in harmony with the Rhodian multi-cultural character where all different influences blend together in a perfect mix. Stone paths are guiding to the “RIVER PASSAGE”, an all suite collection, which winds along the course of a Zen waterway, especially designed for those who seek complete privacy in an absolute style.A fragrant explosion of roses, jasmines and bougainvilleas surround the “OTTOMAN GARDENS”, interconnecting suites and junior suites of one, two, three and four bedrooms with strong oriental touches. While the refreshing sea breeze genteelly strikes the “MEDITTERANNEO CLASSIC”, double rooms arranged to resemble a traditional Greek village. With five different restaurants Lindian Village is a sophisticated dining destination serving the finest tastes from local organic delicacies to the latest fusion cuisine. In between such gastronomic pleasure, the Lindian Village Spa, idyllically situated overlooking the Aegean Sea, awaits with an endless list of services tailor-made to meet the desires of its refined clientele. For anyone thinking of visiting I hope this helps. Positives: 1. The staff - particularly the restaurant and bar staff - they are doing 12-14 hour shifts every single day yet still serve with a smile. 2. (Compared to the immediate area) the beach is quite nice - stony (*) but that can't be helped just bring appropriate footwear. 3. The ambience is relaxing and the towel lady comes each night with fresh towels (can't imagine what their washing bill is - I for one would re-se a towel at least twice). 4. Plenty of masks, hand gel and the staff all wore masks - which in hot weather for 12+ hour shifts must have been unbearable. 5. Doctor comes to site for the covid testing once you have booked in by scanning a QR code. Negatives. 1. Be aware that the hotel is situated (down a litter-strewn lane *) 2 hours transfer time away from the airport - so factor that into your travel plans. This area is remote - no bars or restaurants to go to for a change. This isn't a resort with shops, bars and restaurants. 2. To many little matters left unresolved - we had a room with a 2 metre long clothes rail but only had 3 hangers and despite asking for more on day 1, 2, 3 and 4 none ever arrived. The safe broke and despite being told (on day 4 out of 7) that someone would be round in minutes - no-one ever arrived to fix it. We were given a bottle of wine on arrival (thank you) but no glasses in the room at all. The coffee machine not available "due to covid". 3. There is a main restaurant and a few alternative restaurants but even now we don't know which was which as they are not signed and the system for booking would challenge anyones mental agility. 4. Food was OK unless you are vegetarian (depite being told well in advance so the "executive chef" could make sure there was enough - really they seemed to think that vegetables alone was enough - just some effort in creating decent vegetarian meals can't be that difficult - but apart from cheese there was no other protein source. 5. The sunloungers have seen better days and I was told that there can't be more "due to covid". 6. This isn't a problen unique to this hotel - the amont of litter in Rhodes was a disgrace - OK the UK is bad but you only have to walk out of the grounds of the hotel and the countryside is a mess. Maybe during lockdown the locals could have cleaned up the hundreds of platic bottles and cans, broken pedalos, other bits of waste to make this island beautiful which I am sure it was once. As I say the staff make this place but the management need to take a close look at what they are offering and the environment around the hotel.

This place is nothing like the pictures on the website. We arrived late in the evening and ended up in a room which should have been a junior suite with a terrace. It was old- really old. Furniture was broken, the electricity cabinet made a horrible noise, the air conditioning was hardly working and there was a terrible smell on the terrace- the river they have built. The electricity cabinet looked old and dangerous. We also encountered cockroaches. There is nothing of what is advertised in the rooms, no coffee machines, no slippers no maxi bar. The night service was appalling. We called to complain about the heat in the room and when he came over he basically said we were imagining it. But we could hardly breathe. He was extremely rude and insulting. They claimed they didn't have another clean room to move us in (not surprising because as we saw the next day the hotel is dirty) so we accepted to sleep in a room which had at least a clean bed. Again regardless of the cleanliness we found dirty fabrics, broken curtains, loose faucets, miserable looking jacuzzis. The next day we left after breakfast where we found an equally filthy breakfast hall. They proposed for us to move to one of their renovated rooms but frankly after being so ill treated by the evening staff and seeing the overall level of cleanliness we simply wanted to leave. This is by far not a five star hotel but you can be sure they will try and charge you five star prices. The resort was probably pretty at some stage as it's been nicely designed but today it's awful. Just don't go. Plenty of nice hotels in Rhodes

Tomorrow is our last day here. We arrived 6 days ago and this is by far the best holiday we had. We traveled in many continents but the staff here is amazing. It is great pleasure to meet people like Oli( the golf cart driver) Alessandro,Spiro( the wellness center guy), Roza( cleaning lady) and everyone in reception and other parts of the hotel. The place is beautiful, very different from the mainstream hotels. The green tropical trees and the beautiful flowers throughout the manmade river is breathtaking and relaxing at the same time. We were on B&B so dinner was about €45 per person and we managed lunch with €15 per person. Outside the hotel is the buss( local) and the cost per ticket is €2.60 to go to Lindos( beautiful town that is breathtaking with rooftop restaurants ). The last bus was at 11:30 pm. Buses are on time:). Lindian village will see us again soon❤️

Despite the rooms are not really 5*, I had amazing time in this hotel. Rooms they need a bit better level as right now I would say 3-4*. Cleaning was so so. Surrounding was beautiful, the garden especially. On the beach was very relaxing, though there could be somebody to help with beds and could have a beach bar. I would like to give special thank you to the front desk- Vasilis and Christina, in the restaurant Costas(probably I said a wrong name), but look at the picture. He made me feel very safe and good. I had amazingly good experience in the SPA. Both girls had excellent strong hands and gentleman on the desk was very friendly. As I had all inclusive stay I could eat and drink technically all day long. I recommend take that possibility if you stay most of the time in the hotel. Only what was little annoying that if you want to get out from the hotel there is no hotel shuttle. Public bus takes ages to get around and taxis are too expensive as hotel is far from everything. Therefor I didn’t visit Rhodes city which I really wanted. However my holiday was great!

Lovely gardens but buildings are dirty and tired. Staff slow snd lazy. Not nearly enough staff around in general. Rooms only cleaned if asked every other day, not twice a day as advertised. Everything needs an upgrade. Pool tired and dirty. We had ants everywhere in our bathroom and cockroaches at night. Could be amazing but wasn’t. Location remote with nothing nearby. Lindos 20 mins away in a taxi. Restaurant booked up every night in advance so sometimes nowhere to eat! Breakfast ok. Buffet dinner not worth £40 per head.
