We arrived early September for a week. We stayed in a superior room which was Clean, well maintained and had comfortable beds,a fridge, free safe and a hairdryer. The on site shop was reasonably priced selling snack, drinks, toiletries and souvenirs. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Read many reviews about the food, due to COVID the staff now serve what you pick. Majority of the food was nice, naturally when abroad some of the food isn’t the norm however we never went hungry with Plenty of selection. The all inclusive drinks were fab, ranged from beer, gin, vodka, cocktails, sprite, Fanta lemon and hot drinks. The entertainment wasn’t to write home about, each evening they hold a children’s disco followed by: games, karaoke, quiz. You could see this wasn’t the staffs fault but simply due to COVID restrictions. The hotel offers cycle hire and on site car hire. Pool towels are at a refundable price also. Less than a 10 minute walk takes you to the beach also there is a shop which sells a wide range of products. We enjoyed our holiday and would recommend the hotel.

What a great holiday we had at this hotel. The staff are wonderful will do anything to make your stay memorable and fun but are also very professional. Felt safe with measures they have in place and it doesn't really interfere much with your holiday. The hotel, gardens, pools and room all very clean, would definitely recommend and just a mention that the water park is great fun even at our age , we got a taxi to and from the hotel to the Airport it was 75 euros but takes less than an hour takes two hours by bus we used Falimon & Manos Spanos Taxi drivers, two brothers great guys went above and beyond to help us their number is +306973094444 if you need them

I stayed here from the 7th-14th October. I had the most amazing time here and would highly recommend to stay at this hotel.
I arrived at the hotel around 9.25pm the reception staff asked if I wanted some food so I ran down to the restaurant only to find it had closed but the lovely reception staff got me a few sandwiches and a bottle of water. I was so thankful after such a long journey.
I found my room and oh my god, I was in owe. I had been given a big family room which was honestly so beautiful and very clean. I couldn't believe my luck.
The hotel itself is quite big I wasn't expecting it, I has 3 pools. 1 main pool with 3 sun lounger beds (never in my life have I seen this before) with the main bar, 1 smaller chilled kids pool also with a bar but limited drinks (only served beer, wine and soft drinks. No cocktails) and a water park. The pools are cleaned down every morning.
The hotel is a little bit remote from the main area but it's very easy to get around the bus runs every hour and very cheap (only takes cash no card). The reception has a bus time table at the desk which was super helpful. Rhodes cost €5.60 one way, Pefkos and Lindos only cost €1.80 one way. The main Lardos village is about a 15-20min walk away and very easy to get to.
There is a near by pebble beach,I read the reviews before I came a lot of people said the local beach was a 20min walk away up and down a big hill but if you go around the back of the hotel near the smaller kids pool it's only a short 10min walk with no hills.
The food wasn't the best I am going to be honest but for me personally there was always something to eat. There was 3 days out of my 7 day stay where I really enjoyed the food. The other days it was just OK.
A lot of the hotel guests I spoke to did mention it wasn't nice it was served cold or luke warm or just refused to eat in the restaurant.
I personally never had an issue with this but if you are a fussy eater this is something take to note on.
The staff I cannot fault they were amazing and super friendly. Always said hello and would be happy to help you no matter what.
I had the most amazing stay here, as a solo young woman traveller I felt very safe here and made lots of new friends. I never felt alone.
A massive huge thank you to the Olive Garden Hotel and their staff I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. It was one of the best holidays I've had.

We visited during covid when restrictions were lifted. First impressions were- it was a nightmare trying to get your cases up the ramp to reception, they’re very steep. Once in reception they couldn’t seem to find our booking, so we were sat there for what seemed like hours at 11PM with two tired, hungry children. It was finally sorted and they gave us a sandwich and bottle of water each to take with us to our room. They were stale so the kids didn’t eat them and there was no shop open on site or anywhere in the vicinity of the hotel.
The room: our door was definitely broken and had to be slammed hard to close, there were no tea and coffee making facilities, we did ask and were told we weren’t allowed one due to covid? No bottles of water in the mini fridge. By morning, due to being on the ground floor with a dodgy door, our room was laced with ants all over everything! We informed reception and was told while we’re out they will spray insecticide. They did so but they just kept coming back. We also had a mosquito problem, not sure how they kept getting in through the night but they feasted on us.
The food: not sure whether it was due to covid but there was very limited choice, for dinner there were about 2 main options of meat or fish and a few sides to choose from, the kids option was either pizza or pasta and sauce. We liked the salad/fruit bar. So for that reason, we went into Lindos most evenings to eat. Lunch, again we ate out most days, but it was same as the evening. Breakfast was the most enjoyable, we just got toast, eggs and fruit for the majority. Kids enjoyed the ice cream on tap. The buffet staff were always really friendly and smiley, a real credit to the hotel.
Entertainment was okay was mainly just kids dancing to a set playlist.
We went back to our room one night to get jackets as it was chilly, to discover two expensive jackets missing. Informed reception and got defensive and tried to blame us not shutting the door properly, which we always did. Only other people to enter, were cleaners and whoever sprayed the insecticide. The day after, one jacket was conveniently found early morning, around a pool we hadn’t even been around, the other didn’t turn up.
Pools: mainly visited the slides and kids pool, the water in the kids pool is freezing so be prepared, even in 33 degree heat you feel the chill, it was warmer where the water slides are. We enjoyed the lazy river and going down the slides I think they saved our holiday in the hotel if I’m honest. We visited the pool near the back of the hotel briefly, but it unfortunately didn’t get much sun in the late afternoon so cut it short.
Not far from Lardos beach, the water was lovely and warm, I would recommend beach shoes for Lardos beach as it’s very rocky. Pefkos beach was a short taxi ride away and the beach there was gorgeous, as is St. Paul’s bay in Lindos. Very picturesque.
It was a cheap last minute deal we booked, but we won’t be returning to this hotel.

Dear Mrs. Sallymads First of all let me thank for choosing to stay in Olive Garden Hotel and also for taking the time to share your experience with us. It is with our deepest regret to read about your unsatisfactory experience, we are very sorry for all the inconveniences happened during your stay. We really appreciate your comments about the staff in the restaurant. However I would like to inform you that every brochure describes all the hotel facilities. That information is available to all our valued guests before they book their holidays. Unfortunately, due to the covid-19 this year and based on the health & safety protocol, we couldn’t provide all the facilities in the room. The hotel provide in the room mini fridge but not mini bar. For this reason in the night arrivals we offer sandwich and a bottle of water. We are much concerned about your comments for our Food. We understand that taste has to do with the personal criteria of each individual and we know in advance that every opinion is subjective for this reason due to covid we have 12 different choices for hot food and 16 choices of salad and other 12 choices of fruits and desserts. The negative reviews are taking into consideration and are used constructively from the Management in order to improve even more our services. We feel deeply disappointed for not managing to meet your personal standards and expectations. We thank you again and we wish you all the best in your future travels. Best Regards Spanos Tsampikos Hotel Manager

Dear Soanos,
I have tried on numeros occassions to ask speak to you directly.
Polite receptionist (Jerry) who tried to help us but he did not have any power to fix the basic problems but I do not know why he did not arrange for us individual meet up and then Italian speaking receptionist who I kindly ask to organise for us cleaning up bedroom as I have two very little children and one is still playing on the floor to tidy up she laughed at my face and she could not bother to do anything for us. When I told her that my husband was cleaning up bedroom on his holiday her response was , when I am at work my husband clean up. We were on holiday and we had to sleep in dirty bedroom!!!! If you are refusing to clean bedroom at the least have dignity and give us cleaning equipments!
Our flight ticket wasn't given back to us and we thought we need it in in order to return no one was able to reprint something you lost. We did not want to make any problems but it is rediculouse there is no one who can fix it.
Your Italian speaking receptionist said I will have it done in the evening I can collect it but when I went to collect it Jefry polite receptionist did not know anything about it. He tried to reprint it for us but he couldn't figure out a4 format (greet writing) and he couldn't allow my husband to do it for us.your Italian speaking receptionist have refused to schedule meeting with you and she literally had great time to visibly laugh at me and she was not willing to fix basic problems.
I have never ever experienced hotel who is not able to fix or provide basic things and I have never experienced there is none who can actually do something for customers.
Quality of your hotel is mainly provided by the kitchen and floor staff. They were professional , friendly and polite at all time. Person (I assume manager) very polite, funny and there for customers) bar staff very nice , friendly cheerful people. But the rest was disaster.
Family friendly hotel and smoking is allowed almost everywhere, no children cutlery or opportunity to have a real milk for small children. My 4 years old is. It good eater but she likes her glass of milk in the afternoon same as my little son.
Honestly speaking I could not wait to leave your resort.
Thank you for giving the opportunity to express myself here.

Dear Mrs Marriana, First and foremost, thank you for posting your impressions online. We regret to read that you had to experience such an unfortunate situation. Allow us to express our deepest apologies. As you already said there were some positive aspects of your stay as well and we thank you for mentioning them. We are glad to hear that you appreciated our staff in the Kitchen and restaurant. From the other hand we are skeptical in reading some of your comments. Our property is very well rated for the kindness of its staff. Also I am very surprised that you didn't find me to express to me your problems, because every day I am around in the hotel and I meet a lot of our guest. However we take under serious consideration all of your thoughts as our goal is to improve ourselves and the service we provide to our guests. Once again we need to apologize for not meeting your expectations and for the inconvenience caused to you! We really hope that you will give us another chance and help us turnaround your impressions about our property. Best Regards Spanos Tsampikos Hotel Manager

Arrived on the 17/7/21, and straight away was welcomed with open arms, the staff are absolutely phenomenal, I only know the names of a few of them, Manos, Bridget, jeanna?, Jerry, catrina, Tomek and I can’t forget my absolutely amazing Sabrina! She has been the light and soul of everything been an absolute pleasure! The food is lovely, the pools and water park is amazing! The children were never bored and neither were the adults.
The rooms all have air con, the rooms are cleaned regularly (you have to touch your touchscreen pad for when you want it cleaning) there’s a kids club that runs everyday.
If you do plan on visiting I would very much suggest that you hire a car to get around to explore the island because it’s very secluded.
Only downfall I would say is that the family rooms are all in one, so there’s no privacy for the parents 😉.
Other than that I would very much highly recommend this resort, and we will definitely return (the 9 amigos).
Thank you to everyone for our 2 weeks spent with you, has been a pleasure and very sad to be saying goodbye.
Oh and the weather is unreal! Very hot 😀

We have visited previously and have always have a great welcome when we arrive from Gerry who has the most infectious personality and this year was no different.
The animation team this year was Sabrina and Tomek who did a fantastic job keeping everyone entertained. Lots of activities in the morning and some in the afternoon and then the evening a mini disco followed by various quizzes and competitions which were always fun.
The pool bar where we spent our time was hosted by Katerina in the day and Manos at night and both were fantastic for the whole fortnight, plenty of drinks options with the addition of a kids cocktail menu which went down a storm. There was barely a queue and if one did come it soon passed which is unusual for an all inclusive bar, you are usually waiting ages.
The food was a lot better compared to previously with so much choice it would be impossible not to find something you could choose and enjoy, it does get a bit samey but that is all inclusive for you and so long as you go away with this in mind you will be very impressed, the restaurant manager Visilly (sp sorry) couldn’t do more for us and was a great host.
The rooms are ok a decent size and cleaned every two days with fresh towels which you can’t complain about, the pool was always cleaned daily as was the pool area.
The owner Mr Sanas was here this year although you would be forgiven for not noticing he is the most unassuming man with such a friendly manner he blended in as though he was simply a guest and it was a pleasure to meet him.
All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Olive Garden, Spanos the GM has done a fantastic job with a team that always seem happy to help no matter what was asked.

Like most people, has to be the best service I have received on this sort of holiday.
Price paid was minimal, just under £800 for 10 nights AI, flights and transfers.
On arrival just after 9pm, Jerry took our passports, gave us our bands, and told us to get to the restaurant and check in when we have had something to eat. Quick check in, room 105 on ground floor near main buidling, clean, tidy, comfy beds, powerful shower, great first impression.
I have given this 5 stars as I think it deserves it on the staff alone. Jerry is fantastic, so happy all the time, and cannot do enough, the bar staff where excellent, the lifeguard gave us a lift into Lardos when we enquired about getting a taxi, the cleaners, restaurant manager, hotel manager, handy man, all top class.
Food - Breakfast a little hit and miss, you aren't going to get a full english like at home, but to be expected! Nice fresh fruit and yoghurt selection every morning, didn't hurt to have a healthy iption every day or so, and very enjoyable.
Lunch and dinner was very good, enough selection for me, not masses to choose from, but didn't have a bad meal here once, I would much rather have 5/6 quality dishes to choose from, rather than a sea of blandness laid out.
Special mention must go to the pizza chef, it was delicious, so thin, tasty, by far the best pizza i have encountered in an AI hotel, he deserves a lot of praise.
Room as said before was clean and tidy, digital keypad to indicate if you wanted it cleaning or not, I would say cleaned 7 days out of 10, so happy with that.
Location is a little far out, and busy road to walk out to Lardos town, Pefkos probably 2-3 mile walk at least. Lardos is a little working town, nice bar Yammas we went to for a few drinks, and Pefkos is a lovely little resort well worth a visit, lots of nice bars and restaurants, and a couple of nice beaches, 15 euro taxi to beach, 10 euro back from taxi rank opposite Caprice bar.
We hired a car for 3 days, wish we had it longer in hindsight, well worth doing. 35 euro per day, little panda. Fantastic beaches, Agathi beach is stunning, easy to drive around, one main road I95 takes you from hotel to Rhodes Town easily enough, again well worth a visit for the full day, we stayed in Illysos last year so did Rhodes Town for 2/3 days in last visit.
Overall, value for money, excellent service, and I mean excellent, I would highly recommend, but well worth getting a car for a least a few days to get out and about and explore this beautiful island!!
Will be back in the future Jerry!!

Olive Garden is a great hotel for families and to have a great time. The hotel had great facilities such as a water park, pool, and restaurant, the beach is also a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms were spotless and the staff cleaned them every other day (due to covid), whenever we had a problem with the room the staff fixed it in a couple of minutes at most, service was great. The pool was great and was never overcrowded and had a bar right next to it which was very convenient, special shout out to Manos the best barman and also to Giannis on maintenance for being so friendly and welcoming. Hotel and restaurant managers were also extremely friendly and made out holiday extra special. Definitely recommend this hotel, thank you!

glad to get away after a year. went to the olive garden in lardos, knew where it was, its a bit out of the way for everything ,but there are buses and taxis. The hotel is all inclusive ,the room we had was in the main building there are two more buildings in the grounds. The room was ok with a balcony comfy bed and pillows, open wardrobe bathroom with a powerful shower, safe which is free air con which is free, towels changed every other day. there are 2 pools one where they play various games ,and a quieter one also there is a water park. food was ok there is breakfast lunch and evening meal, but no snacks in between, all the staff were great but i have to point one special one Gerry on reception, he's always got a smile on his face and we saw him handle some idiotic holiday makers. But if you want entertainment, Lardos is not the place to go
