I definitely rate this hotel with 5 stars, I have nothing to complain about. Everything was literally the same as in the photos and the description of our travel agency. The room was clean as well as both the pools at the resort. Food was delicious, especially the cakes!😁 I also have to mention friendly and nice staff, especially Alkeos who is the best DJ, dancer and also waiter. He always take good care of us at the dinner and after the dinner if there was program he was always nice and funny ☺️ he and his colleague also helped us with our suitcases when we arrived and we were so grateful for that. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and we were so glad we choose this hotel for our holidays.
i’ll start with the best thing about this hotel… the staff, nicholas the bar man in the evening is the lovely man on earth with plenty of laughs every night and very welcoming, the day time barman (i’m bad with names) was very lovely too as well as the entertainment girls and alki who also did entertainment as well as cleaning at dinner, every time we spoke to the staff they were very welcoming, including one night where a friend we had met and we’re going out for a drink with cut his foot and 3 of the staff were outside the hotel and ran to their room and sorted his cut out even tho they were out of working hours, during karaoke alki did have us up singing and dancing, honestly if your friendly to the staff they’ll look after you throughout your stay, if we were to return to this hotel in future it would 100% be down to the staff. our first ever holiday as a couple and away by ourselves, we arrived at 2 am and after paying €10.50 tourist tax we were taken to our room which was just above the reception area, our room personally was very nice with a double bed, separate bathroom area, mimi fridge, a huge balcony, tv etc. we would recommend you bring your own hairdryer as the ones in room are very small and take ages to dry anything, in the morning we went down to breakfast where there was a few but not loads of options, some days there was pancakes made infront of you which we enjoyed, pool area is very nice, not the most amount of sunbeds but if your down at the pool before 10 you shouldn’t have an issue there, cola was a pass from us, but other than that the other drinks were good, lunch there was no food for kids at all, with very mediterranean food, which for some they’d love however for us and every other english family/couple we spoke to it was the biggest issue with the hotel, dinner time was similar to lunch but some nights chips were available only at tea and pasta, fish fingers etc. We ate out pretty much every night of the holiday and most days for lunch. evening entertainment was ok, every night there was something for the kids to get involved with until 9pm then after that there was either greek night (dancing etc), karaoke, or some nights nothing at all. but other than that it was very nice and chilled around the pool with a range of cocktails, all inclusive ends at 11pm after that you can pay for drinks until 12 or do what we did and get a few in each before 11. shop on site was slightly overpriced compared to supermarkets in the area but still if you needed anything they had it, splash park is good, good for kids and 3 slides for adults to enjoy too. However i would be very careful with your money as we are sure some amount of euros was taken from our room, as we budgeted 300 for the week, we spent most money on card but somehow we were only left with 100 euros after 2/3 days which we know for sure we did not spend, all in all id take your money with you just to be safe. lardos is a nice area but if your looking for something a bit more lively i’d go 10 mins down the road by bus to pefkos, plenty of lush beaches and english bars and resteraunts, we tried pretty much all of the cafes, bars, resteraunts within 10-15 min walking distance and can highly recommend the pino cafe down the road, and the italian mare matto for places to eat. for bars after all inclusive ends we went to the cocktails and dreams bar, which has shisha, snack pizzas and toastys if you peckish. overall we enjoyed our stay, as a couple other than the food we had a great time here, and if we were to come back it would definitely be due to the staff, all were so lovely and we had so many laughs with them throughout the days and into the early hours…
We have visited hotel Ellia in Rhodes. It has been described to us a 4 sta. We have checked the other websites and it says 3 star hotel. Hotel looks nice. It is designed as a small village with a small semi detached Greek houses. The hotel area is quite big. It is situated not far to the local beech. The area is looked after on a daily basis. The rooms are standard depending on size of the group of people staying in the property. TV and other facilities: The bathrooms have not been refurbished for a long time so look shabby: the mirror, lights, tabs, shower and toilet etc. The TV has got 4-5 channels (probably in Greek language); The balcony/terrace in from of the front window was nice but it has not been cleaned properly and the two chairs always were missing as the balcony/terrace was open so our neighbours could come and take our chairs for their own purpose without asking – so we did not enjoy much staying in the accommodation for a long time and we just came to sleep and get ready for next day. Swimming pool There are two swimming pools both suitable for fun and enjoyment. There is a bar in each swimming pool offering variety of local drinks. The drinks are limited to cocktails and wine so if you want to drink gin and tonic/whiskey and coke etc you were not allowed even though the ingredients were available. Activities No activities. There is a small football and wallyball field but no ball to play. We had to organise our own ball to play. There was no disco or animation shows except disco and club for kids and one Greek Night which was performed by the workers of the hotel. We had to rely on our own initiative to organise our activities or entertainment. The food was regular and most of it was tasty however the variety of it was limited with no much choice for example apples, oranges and once, watermelon Staff The staff is nice and friendly and always happy to help. THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM OF THEFT There is a huge problem of theft at the hotel There were two incidents of theft on the same day. One guest family has lost around 350 euros and the other family has lost 100 euros. We have also noticed that many people have complained in the past so the problem is still ongoing. The management, on the other hand, has failed to take steps to prevent or at least to warn their guests about the ongoing problem. We think it is a solid three-star hotel and a nice place to visit with a risk of theft and traveling to the police station as all-inclusive option.…
This Hotel definitly deserves 4 stars. The food is very good, employees are very friendly and trying to fulfill wishes of their customers. Beach isn't far away from hotel. Hotel rooms are in good condition and if there is anything broken or missing the personal will replace it or fix it. You can even book massages or fitness room.
we stayed here 10 days friendly staff differnt choice of food every day hotel room clean cleaning ladys lovely choice of pools bus stop right outside to take u to water park lindos rohdes falaraki bus drivers friendly would stay again
Our room was very nice with a large balcony at the front of the hotel. The road isn't noisy though and we had good views over to the sea. Most of the rooms are scattered around the gardens at ground level. There is free access to Beers and burgers which is really good & there's a small AI bar down there. The food is European style which we enjoy, we go to Greece to eat Greek food. There is English breakfasts but also lots of fruit, cereal etc. Other meals are a selection of vegetables, salads meat and fish, potatoes, pasta and rice. Always lots of fruit. The staff are lovely throughout the hotel. The barx serve beer and wine which is nice. There's shorts and cocktails on an evening. There is music from the bar round the pool area which is a good size. There's a shop on site stocking everything you need. We have been twice now and will return.…
Reception wasn't very kind expect Alex and Gabriela... But barmans were kind and funny. Rooms weren't best actually, but water park was great. And second pool was very big and nice . Football field was awful. Paths and sidewalks were a bit destroyed. Decorative gardens were nice. The worst was our bluestsyle delegate but the hotel probably has nothung to do with it.
Ellia is set among really pretty surroundings, which are kept beautifully. Our room was lovely with a stunning view from the private balcony The food was good with many various dishes at every meal. The staff are all very friendly and helpful Everywhere is kept clean and tidy with sheets and towels changed regularly Ellia is a happy place and we are looking forward to going back very much
I like, how the staff is very nice and friendly, so much good food is there and they have their own waterpark, the bus stop is right before the door, so you can exore the island. The hotel is also close to the beach, so that's why I need to give 5 stars.
Everything was great! Ellia hotel is beautiful and staff was also friendly and very helpful. Food was also great and a there were lot of options. Cleaning service is great as well. I was very satisfied and definitely can recomend!
