    Above expectations
Everything was beyond expectations. Rooms were clean and all of the staff was very friendly. Food was amazing, especially on “grill night” when they had home made gyros. Also the view from the hotel is amazing. We definitelly recomend this hotel.

    Great hotel!
We enjoyed our stay at the Arion hotel. It was the second time we visited this hotel and it was great again! The hotel has a beautiful view and is quietly located. Also very friendly staff. The rooms are very clean. The buffet at breakfast and dinner is very varied and prepared with care. We had a delicious dinner in the evening!

    Stay at Arion Hotel
The breakfast is buffet style and had so many options. The room was nice but the bathroom was a little worn. The reception staff are absolutely lovely and the pool is so good and goes 3 metres deep! The views from the hotel are amazing. Would definitely stay here again. Lemonakia beach is a 10 min walk downhill.

We loved out tranquil week here, great food, comfortable rooms and a super location, only a fifteen minute walk downhill into town (there is a stepped path by the pool) and only €5 Euros to bring four of us back :) The restaurant staff were very attentative, loads of choice for breakfast (eggs & bacon cooked to order) and an excellent €20 buffet dinner available. The pool was spacious and warm with plenty of loungers. There was bus service to a few local beaches too. We had a car and loved Psili Ammos (25 mins) which was a stunning, wide, sandy bay with shallow calm water and a few lovely places for lunch & loos. And a beautiful view across to Turkey and a big supermarket enroute. Feeling we made an error by moving on to the SW of the island to a different hotel & location - should have stayed at the beautiful Arion Hotel !!

We stayed at the Arion hotel for a week and I would say we had done our research before hand. However, we had no idea how inaccessible it was on foot. There is a path down to the road that leads to the beach and Kokkari, and both are stunning and well worth the visit. But the path was very steep and uneven. The staff were polite and the hotel is spotlessly clean. The food was good and the restaurant staff were very efficient. The pool bar was comfortable and the guy in the evening was a great host but it doesn’t serve food other than a bowl of nuts. The housekeeping staff were fabulous and friendly. Overall I would say it lacks atmosphere and personality but it’s a comfortable base if you’re mobile otherwise hire a car. And check the access to both beaches as they have multiple steep steps. There is a scheduled shuttle which I believe is free that runs at set times if you don’t mind being tied to a timetable. Overall we will 100% return to Kokkari but to another hotel

When arriving we found out that our room were not ready because of water problem. So we were relocated to the neighbor hotel just 2 min walking ( Kalidon panorama) straight above from our hotel. I was so hungry when arriving and as a compensation for our hotel change we also got a free lunch at the hotel. Very nice! We returned to our hotel in the next morning and found out that we were upgraded to a better room with a wonderful view instead! Very nice service due to our situation, and I was also pregnant. I’ve read about the beds before and we’re anxious on how stiff they were gonna be. And yes! Unfortunately they were. I had to build up the bed with blankets in order to sleep. They were missing the over bed mattress. After one day I couldn’t take it and asked for a solution and they helped us and got a bed mattress after the third day. After that I slept so good and the hotel should really invest bed mattresses in all of the rooms, and it would completely change their standards. The hotel breakfast needs to be changed. They’re were mostly sweets and not so many healthy choices. I had a hard time feeling full and ate mostly fruits. Their Greek yoghurt didn’t taste anything and felt very cheep. I would say, get rid of 50% of the sweets and upgrade with more yoghourt alternatives, granolas, nuts, seeds and so on. Their jams only tasted like sugar, also feels very cheap. I was not happy with the breakfast buffe at all. But I guess it’s more for the big family’s. The dinner buffe were so much better and had multiple good alternatives, the fish dishes specifically. The restaurant view is spectacular. About the restaurant service we noticed every day both for breakfast and dinner the staff wants to remove your plate as soon as your done with it. They circle around the tables every other minute like eagles and it made us feel very stressed and uncomfortable. We could not relax at all and enjoy our meals. They also starts to remove dinner and breakfast way to early, like 30 min before they close (they should write this somewhere) so guests understand they cannot arrive to dinner 21.00 even tho they close 21.30. I’m very disappointed at the staff service for not letting the guests breath during their vacation. They don’t have to clean that fast and remove everything from tables. And if a family leaves a table they remove everything in the minute. Which makes guest around that table always feel someone walking, cleaning, circling at all times around them. Stressful environment. In overall this hotel is located perfectly with the best view and 10 min walk from Kokkari center. Great pool area and beautiful gardening’s. Great reception service and they always asked me how I felt and the baby in my belly, which were super cute and nice. The pool restaurant service were also so nice and helpful! One day I just wanted something cold to eat and asked to pay for a plate of cucumber (not on the menu) and they gave it to me for free, “ the baby they said” so nice and cute of them! If they upgrade the breakfast buffe, the bed mattresses and change their way of restaurant service I would easily recommend this place!

We were here in July 2021, members of two families. The hotel has a wonderful view. The pool is very nice and the bartender makes perfect drinks. We asked if we could have our rooms next to each other and also if we could have them on first floor. We got both wishes. The rooms are very nice and clean. All staff is very friendly. We had a small child with us (1 year) so it was sometimes a little hard to walk up to the hotel, but it wasnt a problem for us. We went to Lemonakia beach every day, its a lovely beach, you must go there. The breakfast is also nice. And everything is made to be "corona-safe".

Well my holiday to Egypt was cancelled due to TC but we finally managed to get a holiday to Samos Greece. Personally never heard of the place but what a little treasure it is. Arion Hotel is lovely. All hotel apartment blocks are painted pastel colours and very pretty. The gardens are beautiful and very well kept, with fantastic sea views from most parts of the hotel. The restaurant and food was superb for breakfast and dinner. Food at the pool bar where we had lunch twice was good too. The pool was nice it's a shame it wasnt heated cos only went in once cos was so cold. The sea was warmer for sure. Unfortunately we went to use spa in hotel but it didn't work and was only big enough for one person 2 at a push, but sauna was fine. The beach is around 10 mins walk but down a steep set of steps via the hillside, may need to grab transfer minibus back if u dont want to climb hill on way back. We was in the area when alot of the restaurants and shops had started to close for the season but it was still lovely to go sit in restaurants having drinks etc enjoying the quiet atmosphere. We had a few days sitting on the beach outside a lovely greek restaurant called Hello Hello. The family were great and so friendly and food was fantastic. Another great tearoom was Grandma's Home and this place was just perfect and so very pretty with attention to detail and very polite staff. The cake was to die for. The views from anywhere on this island are breathtakingly beautiful can definitely say that. Had a trip into Samos town and also a trip to kalavassi so worth a visit if u want to explore a little bit.
