Outstanding hotel, absolutely beautiful !
Its already been said about the senior management casting a shadow over the staff some of who work really hard. Its uncomfortable for the staff and guests to witness. The elderly gentleman doesnt engage, we guessed he was the owner but called himself "an observer"
The gentleman who would appear to be a General Manager needs to speak to staff out of sight of guests. He may be speaking a different language but it doesnt take much to work out that he's giving a member of staff a telling off.
The food is not great. Chicken skewers are grey, i thought it was old meat , it was awful. Salads drip in dressing and a Greek salad is nothing like any other Greek salad i have ever had before.
Seafood linguini had three prawns in it and my husbands just two and that was the sum total of the seafood! Wine €29 a bottle, just as nice €5 from Supermarket.
The room was wonderful but the Hotel lets itself down being tight fisted over little touches in the room. Four coffee capsules and two small bottles of water for the entire stay, no box of tissues so if you want to clean sunglasses for instance you need to use loo roll. No kettle and supplies of teabags, sugar, milk.
In summary, the management/owner needs to make himself scarce if he doesnt want to interact with guests. The Chef needs a bigger budget because the food is not great.
Two coffee tables in front of a beatiful picture window is not necessary along with the cushions on the sofa - its so cluttered. The toilet door needs re-locating to the bathroom entrance so that you have some privacy in the shower and bathroom area.
The setting is beautiful, the hotel is the stuff of dreams but the Management need to disappear on a staff moral improvement course !

We have made a booking for September 2022 but unfortunately the hotel did not manage to open. Despite our frustration, we have to admit that the hotel management did a great job to relocate us in the best possible way.
While we were in Kefalonia, we passed by the premises and to our surprise the hotel was ready apart some small fine tuning. We will definitely visit this year.

Husband and I stayed in May for a week and had the most relaxing time. The suites are perfect with separate lounge area, bed was so comfortable with lovely quality bed linen. Toilet / shower room, again fantastic, lovely towels and bathrobes. I don’t normally use the complementary toiletries but I did try the body lotion which was really nice. Great coffee machine, bottled water supplied and a kettle and mugs on request.

We stayed B & B and found the breakfasts really good, fresh fruit, creamy Greek yogurt, beards, pastries, cereal as well as eggs, bacon etc. Omelettes were made fresh on request. Staff were fantastic and so professional.

The on site a la carte restaurant wasn’t open but we ate evening meal in the hotel twice during our stay, the meals were okay but at €30 per person for a set 3 courses it’s a bit more expensive than eating out.

The hotel is remote and everywhere seems to be at the top of very steep hills. We didn’t hire a car as we just wanted a week to relax. We went, via taxi to Lourdata a few evenings and had some lovely meals there, lots of tavernas, great food and excellent prices, starter, mains and litre of local rose wine averaged around €45 - €50. Taxis though are quite pricey.

All in all we had such a lovely relaxing week at this wonderful hotel.

The staff are very friendly, always have time to chat with you or help you with something or give general information about the island. The reception booked our taxis for us and hired our rental car for us which was brought to our hotel. I’d strongly recommend going half board, the breakfast was really nice and had a wide variety of options, the lunch and dinner menu had amazing fresh food which was cooked perfectly by the chef, service was fast and personal by the lovely waiters. The hotel was always very clean and constantly kept on top of by staff. Our room was cleaned at whatever time we went out that day which I really liked and our private pool was cleaned out each day too. The hotel didn’t feel too busy or packed with people either and it was always possible to get a lounger at the main pool no matter what time you went down. We had such a lovely relaxed experience and would strongly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for a week in June 2024.
Our room was spacious and we loved our private balcony and plunge pool. I was concerned that people in rooms above us would be looking over our balcony but because of the way the buildings are set out this wasn't the case. The shower was a good size although the way the door closed it did leak onto the floor if you werent careful. The coffee pods were replenished up daily, as was the water in the fridge, but I was suprised that the toiletires weren't replenished.
We were bed and breakfast so didn't try any evenings meals (the cost would have been 30 euros each and it was cheaper to eat at the local tavernas). The breakfast was fine for us - we mainly ate the good selection of fruit, yoghurts, cerals, toast, bread and cakes. There was alos hot brreakfst items - eggs, bacon, sausage, beans et cbut we tended not to have these as the hot plates didnt seem to keep them very warm.
The pool area was lovely - plenty of space and an amazing poll, the best I've ever seen in a hotel. The beach towels in our room was a nice addition.
All the staff were very pleasant, helpful and attentive.
However, we didnt realise what a steep hill the hotels was on. I had read information before we booked that said the hotel is on a hill, but we didnt expect it to be quite a steep as it was! Whichever way you walked, it involved a steep hill climb either on the way there or back which wasnt great in the heat. The walk up to the supermarket was definitely challenging. We managed OK but are pretty fit, some of the older people ended up getting taxis, which are expensive. Most people at the hotel seemed to hire cars to get around. We didn't get the bus anywhere but from what we saw and heard the service isnt very reliable (although its cheap).
Theres not an awful lot around the hotel but theres a few tavernas within walking distance, all rasonably priced. One is opposite the supermarket so great when you need a drink after the steep climb!
Overall we had an amazing tme and loved it here. If you want night life and noise, its not the place to go, but if you want luxury and relaxation its perfect. We would defintiely recommend this hotel (as long as you are fit enough for the hills!)

So we were a honeymoon couple when we arrived at the hotel, we were amazed how nice our room was with our private. But we would of loved our bed to be a double but it was two twins but together.
The hotel was always kept clean and well maintained every day.
Location is a bit very hilly would need a car or some sort of transport would be required to get about.
Could do with a bit more local transport to help those you don’t drive.
There is a bus service to the capital only €2 per person but only does a late return on a Friday 18:45 and 13:45 the rest of the week.
FOOD
Breakfast could of been better.I love my food but I found the the first meal of the day was not up to great standard as hot food was slightly warm or cold the only hot food
was toast but that’s because you put that in the toaster your self.
They had a eggs menu which I tried one morning so I ordered eggs Benedict
When it arrived I looked at it and thought that does not look like hollandaise sauce it was disgusting I sent it back .
Did not eat there for dinner as we were b&b only
Management and owner were at every mill time in the hotel but did not interact with their guests
Staff did not try to interact customers either . No entertainment of an evening at all

Visited with my partner for a week’s holiday. Booked hotel via Secret Escapes & Easyjet flight. Stayed in a ground floor forest view suite. Very spacious room and terrace. Plunge pool was welcome in the hot sun.
Pros …
Adult only
Staff professional, friendly & helpful
Clean
Beautiful large pool with comfy loungers - true to pictures on website
Peaceful location with easy walk to sandy beach & superb beach bar
Extensive Breakfast menu catered for all
Evening meals very good
Cons …
Expensive wine list - local beach bar sold excellent well known kefalonian wine at a fraction of the price
Connecting door in room not soundproof
Limited vegetarian or fish options on menu

Would definitely recommend and happy to visit again.

Have just returned from a week here. We stayed in a sea view suite on the 5th floor. The plunge pool and terrace were lovely.
The beds and shower were fantastic and the rooms overall of a high standard - it was just missing a full length mirror.

The bar and pool areas were lovely. The sun beds in particular were fantastic and the best I’ve seen and it was always easy to get a sun bed. I do agree with some of the other reviews about the lack of atmosphere and customer service at the hotel . Some of the bar staff were better than others - Adonis in particular was good. Cocktails were €10-12, a large beer was €6 and a glass of wine €7.50 so not cheap. We ate lunch at the hotel a couple of times and the food was nice, but quite expensive with a limited menu. The bar was never busy in the evenings as people went to the nearby tavernas which were much cheaper with more atmosphere.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The Greek yoghurt pots were delicious although the fruit selection was poor and often not ripe. A few more pastries would have been nice. They did offer an egg menu (poached, scrambled etc) although I didn’t try any of these.

The surrounding area is very quiet. There are 4 tavernas within a 10 minute walk. Denis (on the beach), Gefiri, Veramente and Stamna. All require walking up and down a steep hill with very little lighting. All of the tavernas were great with fab food at reasonable prices. Trapezaki beach was OK, but there were no beds and only a small area of sand.

We hired a car for 3 days (with the help of the friendly reception team) and went to the beach at Lourdas (10 mins) into Argostoli (30 mins) and to Poros (40 mins). All were lively and it was lovely to see some of the island. Driving was relatively easy once you got to the main roads.

Note there were a lot of stairs to get to the 5th floor. There is a lift but it only goes from 2nd to 3rd floor and then another lift takes you from the 3rd to 4th floor. It was bizarre there was no lift from the ground to fifth floor.

We booked knowing that the hotel was in a remote location but it was quieter than expected. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would visit Kefalonia again but would probably stay in a busier resort. The hotel only opened this year and is just missing a bit of atmosphere which will hopefully come with time.

We stayed earlier this year when the hotel had not long opened for the season and, whilst some were still learning their roles, the overall presentation of the hotel and quality was second to none.
You are not going to get fully traditional Greek food, but they don't advertise that and you still have the option of going elsewhere occasionally if you prefer. We ate out twice and the food wasn't actually as good and cost a lot! We enjoyed sitting at the restaurant next to the bar and pool and enjoyed the relaxed dining experience. The salads alone are worth eating there.
The breakfasts are also fantastic. Lots of choice
The room and balcony with plunge pool will be hard to beat anywhere and the main pool and sun loungers top class.
We just loved the relaxing atmosphere, the location, the views and would love to return. If you want bustling nightlife and entertainment this one might not be for you, but if you want relaxation and class, then it most definitely is.

This hotel is a very modern hotel opened recently. When we arrived there was a staff member who took our cases to our room while we had a welcome drink.
We was driven on buggy to our room and aircon was explained to us, room was cool.
Positive
I
1) The welcome from the receptionist was a warm pleasant smile ask for passports.
2) pleasant welcome drink of Greek bucks fizz which I knocked over before taken a sip.
Was all cleaned up by waitress and another was on the table.
3) The room is a modern room big bathroom with a big shower always hot nice basin mirror etc.
It's a 2tier room nice big bed and fridge always filled with 2 bottles of water. Lower tier has a L shape settee and coffee table which had fruit and a bottle of wine with a nice note.
Outside is 2 chairs and table with 2 comfortable sunbeds getting the sun and of course your own dip pool overlooking the countryside.
3) Breakfast is OK coffee's out of machine, teabag and hot water with various other flavors.
There is your usual buffet style breakfast, yogurt, cereals, hot food, cheeses, croissants and cake.
4) The pool is longest I have ever seen in a hotel, with plenty of sunbeds around the pool all comfortably and with hotel staff for your orders, all the staff are well groomed and very polite.
5) Evening meals I can only say we had only one as we were only B&B but it was pleasant food. There seemed to be no atmosphere but that's down to the guests to make it.

As a hotel it is great if your here for 5-7 days but if longer I suggest what most of the guests do go out and see kefalonia sites, beaches and taste the true kefalonia food, meet the people very friendly also much cheaper.
A good restaurant to eat at is Dennis about a 10min walk from hotel, turn right then left down a single road and there it is facing the sea, great food ( taramasalata not pink and taste fantastic)

There’s nothing to say wrong about this hotel everything is spotless and clean, staff very helpful food good but not for people who want the night life. This hotel is quite and peaceful a place to relax with a beer, G&T, cocktails watching the changing colours on the hillsides.
