The hotel is set well back from the road and although there is no pool, it is virtually right on the beach, which is of white sand. We stayed in mid May when it was very quiet; the beach was practically deserted most days. The food is good home cooked Greek and whilst there is not a vast choice for...

Stayed at the Villa Hotel Nisteri for the first week in September for my birthday treat. My boyfriend and I have both had holidays Thassos in the 80's and had a wonderful time. I was just a teenager then. We both felt like the Island had not really changed that much and still held that very Greek Island charm and...

We had a week's stay here from 10th - 17th August. I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels we have ever been to. I couldn't fault it at all. It is in a lovely setting overlooking the sea and Thassos Town. The beach and sea were beautiful and clean. Fantastic waiters Thanassis & Sonja who...

We have just returned from a two week stay at the Hotel Villa Nisteri in Thassos - we stayed from 06 - 20/07/14 - and have nothing but good things to say about our holiday. This small, family-run hotel is a true gem - the owners are friendly, helpful and a mine of information about the island. The waiting staff...

My hubby and I spent 1 week at Nisteri last week. It is a lovely and quiet family run hotel. Everything was exactly what we were looking for. Great Greek food - with the choice of other dishes too, the owners Panos, Regina, Antoni and Georg make you feel at home. The waiter and waitress Thanassis and Sonjia were attentive,...

A little gem of a place. Evening meals in the taverna, literally a very short stone's throw from the sea, authentic Greek dishes served by Thanassis and Sonja - ever attentive, enthusiastic and, if you're up for it, educational. Watching the moon rise over the sea and Limenas town while sipping ouzo and Metaxa - it fills my heart with...
