Stayed here for 2 weeks during May 2016. Basic Greek accommodation about ten min walk out of Skiathos Town and harbours. Asimina , the owner , is a kind old lady , she keeps a watchful eye over - both guests, garden and property! I found the rooms to be clean , adequate and comfortable. Bathroom clean, good shower, with... More

The studio was small and basic, but well equipped and kept very clean. It was all somewhat better than I expected for the price. The people are friendly, but don't speak English, the daughter who lives in the house at the end speaks great English- find her or play charades, which is fun. Our Greek wasn't quite up to the... We were a bit apprehensive after reading some of the earlier reviews on here after booking a year ago so we're prepared for the worst but we had no problem staying here and knew that some of the older places in Greece are basic. We stayed in room 3 in the old block and were happy there. The kitchen and... More

The rooms, are very clean, good shower, small kitchen, biggish rooms, the rooms were adequate, nothing posh, but basic and clean. On the down side there is no air conditioning, which in August is essential, and I'm not a lover of air conditioning, but I melted! The owners are a lovely elderly Greek speaking couple, and will happily hire a... More

We loved Asimina, the setting is beautiful in well attended gardens full of flowers, fruit trees and vegetable plots. There are only 6 studios all at garden level, with terrace that looks out on to the gardens, just to mention that there is no divide between the terraces, this didn't bother us but may bother some. Our studio was clean, well... More

we had a lovely time at asimina the gardens are beautiful and the owners work very hard to keep it that way , the apartments are quite basic ,but the friendliness of the owners more than makes up for that ,they gave us fresh eggs and cheese also , the oasis round the corner feels like an extension of asimina... We stayed at Asimina Studio at the end of September. The property is made up of approx 6 studios that are basic and small but clean and comfortable. The real treasure is the family garden which your terrace looks out on, pomegranates, limes, egg plant and other fruits and vegetables mixed with flowers. True very basic and very Greek! I... More

I didn't book this holiday and, after reading some of the reviews, I was quite apprehensive before we went. I expected the worse and I knew what to expect. If you want basic traditional Greek, then Asimina will be for you. I found it just a bit too basic. I have to say, though, that Asimina and her daughter were... More

Very disappointing accommodation. There are 3 old rooms and 4 new rooms, one of which the owners use; unfortunately we were staying in the old rooms. They are small with no aircon, we hired a fan from the owners but it made no difference to the temperature in the room; it was red hot while we were there but it... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here in July for two weeks. It was a last minute deal and we knew that the accommodation would be basic so we did't expect much. However, we were both very pleased with the room. There are only 6 rooms in the studios which are very well looked after and were spotless. There is a... More
