This wonderful family run hotel has some of the most amazing views over Skiathos and Megali Ammos, making the hill it sits on well worth the climb. Rooms were basic, but very comfortable and clean. Pool was also very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also reasonable and tasty. Highly recommend.
The room was lovely and clean. Thing were a little dated but was no issue as most of greece is like this. The pool was cleaned daily and very nice. The people at the hotel were all so welcoming and chatty. The staff provided whatever we needed whenever we needed and had a good selection of food and drink. This was the view from our room as you can tell it’s stunning, it is at the top of the hill which means you have to climb but it’s well worth it with the view
Returned a couple of weeks ago following a 10 day visit to this lovely, spotlessly clean hotel. The views are sensational and the photos really do not do it justice at all. The pool is a good size, very clean with comfy sun beds and the glass makes the most of the view. As everyone has said, there is the hill, but we found it better to turn right out of the hotel entrance, walk down the shorter hill with steps onto the main road ( and there’s the sweetest, gentle sheltie dog to make friends with), coming back from town this way was also easier. The town is very close and you will find yourself at the top of Papadiamanti Street before you know it! The hotel bar & reception sells pack of 6 x litre bottles of water for €3 which saves lugging it uphill from the supermarket. The staff are all friendly, particularly the Thai lady in the breakfast room, she does an incredible job feeding the stray cats on the island all year round! Breakfast was perfectly adequate and the snack bar meals were good and reasonably priced, pizzas were delicious! The only thing I can think of to improve would be to provide a room to change for those with late flights home as unable to do a late check out, this would be greatly appreciated. All in all, a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again as the location is also perfect, thank you to all the staff and the brothers who own the hotel!…
After 25 years we have just ended a 10 day holiday back on this beautiful island It was our first stay at Rene but definitely not our lastThis hotel has stunning views worthy of the climb all rooms have sea view they are modern spotless with a great shower and comfy beds All the staff are friendly welcoming and happy to help The location is perfect for town and beach with a bus stop at the bottom of the hill for getting around the island
Amazing location, clean and friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for more! The rooms are modern and amazing views. Lovely pool. Looking forward to returning as soon as possible. Breakfast is lovely and a good choice. It’s lovely and quiet!
What an incredible experience we had at this wonderful little hotel in the hills of Skiathos! The staff (lead by Mort) were just a wonderful bunch, so helpful and couldn’t do enough for you… talk about going above and beyond! I would highly recommend this resort and will certainly be back again in the future. 👏🏻👏🏻
The hotel is a family run place with excellent view of the sea from all the rooms. We had room 207 with a large porch were we sat every night, it was just so beautiful. The room was clean, tidy and had all the things one could need. Short walk down to Megali Ammos ( a much better beach than the overcrowded Koukouanires). Cleaning daily and all the crew at the hotel were very friendly. The only downside was that sometimes things ran out if you went to a late breakfast (bc of the large number of guests at the time) but the staff always tried their best to make sure it was something to eat.
This hotel offers a peaceful location with spectacular views. The walk into town is about 15 mins where you are spoilt for choice for restaurants. The walk back can be challenging due to steep hill. The rooms are lovely and clean with everything you need and lovely bathroom. Breakfast is fine with lots of fresh fruit. Sun beds are really comfy and they change the covers on them to keep them fresh and clean. Perhaps it could benefit from a shower room for leaving guests to freshen up in.
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the hotel Rene and everything about it was perfect. The pictures do not do the place justice. The pool and surrounding area was spotless and we had no problem getting a lounger at any time of the day. You can hire towels for both beach and pool and the drinks from the bar were reasonably priced. The room itself was also spotless and a very good fresh modern design, the shower and bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and maids came daily with fresh towels and linen. There was plenty of storage space and hangers. The balcony was a good size with absolutely stunning views on the bay and sea. The location was perfect also with a 5 minute walk downhill to Megialammos Beach where went for lunch every day and 10 minute walk to Town. Bus Stop 4 is also at the bottom of the hill which comes in very handy for trips to the beach. The staff were very helpful and were always on hand to help you out if required. We would definitely recommend staying here when in Skiathos and we will definitely return.…
We are here at the moment and have to say this is a superb little hotel. Lovely spacious rooms, modern bathroom and has a large patio area which overlooks the sea. Breakfast is adequate, something for everyone. Fantastic pool. I know the hill upto the hotel may not be a problem for many but for me and hubby it was just too much in the 33 degree heat and for that reason only we would not return.
