Absolutely beautiful little hotel. The cleanest place I have ever stayed in.

The whole hotel is spotless. Rooms were so cute 🥰 two good size single beds pushed together with such a comfortable mattress and lovely quality pillows and bedding. Beds made every day and towels every other day. There are also two beautiful and fluffy beach/pool towels that you can use for your stay that come in a lovely hessian bag.

Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap and moisturiser all included.

Mini bar in a fridge that you can pay for with beer, water, coke, haribo sweets, toblerone chocolate bar, nuts, and pre packed cocktails that you can prepare in your room.

Tea and coffee making facilities that are high quality.

Great air conditioning in your room and in the lobby. You can ask for two key cards so you can leave the air conditioning on while you are out.

Pool is an absolute dream and so cute. Never too busy with great bean bags sun loungers and chairs and tables to use while you relax in the pool.

Breakfast is continental and lovely, always fresh and spotless, served 8-11.

Turn right out of the hotel for the Main Street with gorgeous pubs and restaurants on the port only a five minute walk Turn left for the nearest beach that is about 10/15 minutes walk. Please be careful of the bikes as it’s a busy town.

Check out is 11am and you can shower outside on your last day but it’s cool water. Then you get get changed in a little room downstairs in the toilets. This is absolutely sufficient for what you need it for.

I had a great time at this place, yes room would be better if bigger, shower very small but what made my trip was the hospitality of the A Team, Julia, Vana and Krissa. They all work so hard to keep the place spotless, room was changed everyday, clean towels and great company. Got a great Greek welcome upon arrival, nothing was too much trouble, left having made friends. We were at front of property with a small balcony so expect traffic noise. location is great, very central and within few mins walk of main street with shops etc, Papadiamantis house is walking distance, as is clock tower and harbour front.
Supermarkets at both end of street within less than 5 min walk, has a lovely taverna run by local people at end of street also (had a meal here) very reasonably priced and a take-away place selling home cooked food on doorstep, very cheap and well worth a try.

Thanks again cheeky girls!!! your all amazing and it was a pleasure to be a guest, such happy memories which I thank you loads for.

Nice small hotel just minutes from Skiathos main shopping street. As a solo traveller, I felt safe, comfortable and very welcome here. The team of three absolutely lovely ladies who ran the place, Yana, Eva and Milena were so friendly and helpful and all really lovely. There was a man there a couple of times who I think had something to do with the hotel but he just sat on the sofa cuddled up to a woman ! My room was perfect. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bed was made everyday. I had the option to have bedding and towels changed everyday or every other day. There is a mini bar which is payable, a coffee machine with four free coffees, a kettle, TV and I think a sound system? , iron and board and a free safe. My bathroom had a window, (don't think they all do), lovely toiletries and a wall hairdryer ( one of those that gives out one heat and one speed, not the best) . The shower has 3 options, overhead, body and hand held and always had hot water. The balcony was very small , had two chairs, small table and pull out washing line. Breakfast was adequate, cold meat, cheese, bread, jams, pastries, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt . No hot food, there is a toaster. The only fruit was banana and apple and a cherry compote. The pool area is small but very nice. My only gripe would be the small balcony and the small selection of fruit at breakfast. The girls are amazing and really make this hotel a great place to stay.

We’ve stayed here for 2 weeks it’s a little gem. Lovely staff on reception great cleaning lady and just so lovely. It’s very Greek in style but I’d say a very good standard . 2minutes walk from Main Street . Tiny pool but it’s a bonus - cleaned every day towels changed and beds changed regularly.
Tiny bar if required . Rooms have cooking rings kettle and full sized fridge seating area in room dressing table hairdryer and the the room had a small balcony - so convenient! Supermarket just next street corner and lots of restaurants and bars shops nearby - we had to pay for aircon which we knew about and standard room tax

We would love to stay here again but can’t find it anywhere for next year

Good position everything is close by however the room was very cramped and the bathroom was tiny. No hot water for thee days and the toilet leaked. The staff tried to help but spoke very little English and had to ask other customers to translate. On the plus side the room was kept clean, downside the pool area only really accommodates 4 people 6 at a push.

Thymi's situation is great for the town's bars, restaurants and shops.

Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our room was a little on the small side but it was well equipped (perhaps the chairs and tables could be replaced for smaller compact ones, perhaps stools/pouffe style, as had to move chair so we could open the door to the juliet size balcony). Didn't spend much time in room so size never a problem.

Bathroom lovely, good size, great shower. Had to put a mat from the bedroom floor into the bathroom as the bathroom floor was a bit slippy. This did the trick.

With doors open on to street, obviously we heard the moped noise but not a nuisance.

All in all, would revisit.

This is the perfect place to stay. The staff are all amazing and so kind . We were greeted by Julia on arrival and given a welcome drink. The place is spotless and has everything you need, sheets and towels changed every day, mini bar fridge with drinks and snacks, kettle and coffee machine. Rooms are lovely and bathroom has a great shower. Tucked away down a quiet street but 2 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of the town, perfect. All the staff are wonderful people and so helpful. We absolutely loved our time at Thymi’s home and would have no hesitation staying here again .

Just got back from spending two wonderful weeks at this very friendly small hotel. Tzoulia and Charrisa were two perfect hosts who went out of there way to please (including decorating our room on my wife's birthday with balloons and banners and proving wine and a red rose).
If we return to Skiathos next year Thymis Home is our number 1 choice. Thanks to all of the staff for making our holiday so perfect.

I have stayed at the Thymi's Home many times over the last 23 years, and knew what a great location in the heart of Skiathos Town it is, and what fantastic amenities this hotel offers for allegedly only a three star property.

My most recent stay this September coincided with the Island being hit by Storm Daniel, a truly catastrophic event that I had ever experienced.

The response from the Superb Team of Three, Julia, Chrysa, and Vana was truly unbelievable!

Julia appeared to be ever present for 72 hours, maintaining a never ending bar service until the early hours for three days, plus snacks whilst the rest of the bars and restaurants recovered in Town.

Although the whole Island was without running water for two days, Chrysa some how still managed to provide a full breakfast service. Whilst Vana amazingly still maintained her unbelievable high standards of cleanliness in all 18 rooms.

These Ladies are truly amazing, and I hope that the Owners of the property realise how fortunate they are to have such wonderful staff, who go way beyond what is asked of them. I hope that they are still there when I return in 2024, because without them it wouldn't be the same.

Thank you again Julia, Chrysa and Vana.
