Had a really wonderful stay at the Karma Haathimahal when our family visited the resort during Feb-end 2020. The resort is upscale and the property is really well maintained. Plus points were the many jacuzzis and big swimming pools. Staff are very hospitable and warm and have a good attitude. Stayed in a One bed fractional room which was top class.Specially need to mention Sudesh Desai who went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. He also arranged for room decoration, cake and flowers on our anniversary day which made it more memorable! Kudos to him!! The resort needs to improve on the food spread though!
It is situated in Cavellossim which is a very clean and quiet south goa suburb. Lot of worthy restaurants like Mike's Place around.And of course lot of good shopping outlets. The main beach which is a 10min walk from the resort is clean with clear water and adventure facilities available.

Having recently returned from a three month stay at Karma Royal Haathi Mahal in Salcette Goa< I would like to give my opinion. As is well known by people who stay there regularly there is an upgrade taking place of some of the Villa accommodation which means certain areas are cordoned off.
I wish to say that the inconvenience of this work and noise is very small for the customer, owing to the fact that the full staff is committed to making it as pleasant, friendly & helpful as can possibly be and any problems quickly dealt with and I witnessed all the pool side beds full during the perpetual Sunny daylight hours.
The reason things are carrying on normally despite the alterations must be laid down to the excellent Manager, Mr George Lobo and his entire staff who work tirelessly to make everyone comfortable. In all my times spent there (21 years) my recent stay in year 2019-2020 has been the most Friendliest and helpful of them. My wife and I who are now both 80+years have felt as if we have become a member of the Haathi Family, even with our odd eccentricities, all the staff, from the very Top Management to the Lowest staff member seem to know us and greet us like their relatives. Even the security staff make a effort to come and greet us. Other members have commented to me that they felt this period has been the most friendliest stay of the lot.
To make things even better there is a Restaurant second to none run by Master Chef Kundan Jha and his chefs, assisted by the Serving staff led by the excellent Francisco Francis. The food being of top quality and service just friendly and helpful. No need to leave the complex if you so choose. Congratulations on the fact that they have recently been awarded a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Excellent, the top rating) by 'fssal' licensing body. Well earned.
I can recommend the Karma Royal Haathi to anyone who want to spend some time in Goa during the months November to April normally hot sunny days. Of course they also cater for the customer who do not mind being there for the Monsoon season also.
If I sound bias then I admit I am, having spent 21years as a long stay member I feel that I can be bias for a top quality stay. The upgraded Villa accommodation is of the highest quality and when fully completed will make it one of the top class establishments in Goa.
Thank you all at the Haathi for making us so welcome and god willing we will return in December 2020 for another long stay.

Got an amazing and enriching experience during our stay in Karma Royal Haathi mahal. As we are the fractional member of this property, we were able to get 2 bhk villa for our stay. The Property is well maintained & every member of staff right from the gate, Mr Uday (security) & Mr Umakant(Bell boy) are very humble, ready to help, and polite so we get a very high level of hospitality right from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Ms Roschelle & Ms EdelQueen personally took care of all our needs to make our stay comfortable. Food prices are cheaper, especially the deal of 1400 for 3 meals & the quality & quantity is also good & very hygenic. Chef Kundan himself takes care of our needs & prepares as per our choice, only thing if u could come up with more varieties. Alisha and Beslee at the restaurant were amazing & took good care of us. The housekeeping has been carried out with dedication and sincerity. Spl Thanks to Mr Alex Mascarenhas for maintaining the rooms so well. The in-store of the resort is been fully loaded with the basic requirements of the guests & we get everything in the MRP also including the liquor. Thanks to Mr Lijo George the General Manager who is very friendly, helpful & always busy taking special care of all the guests, Only issue is of network & weak WIFI, if u could plz solve this issue. We appreciate the entire Karma staffs for their services and support also recommending others to become member of Karma group and enjoy the facilities & to take care of the property..

Haathi Mahal is a fantastic option for a weekend get a way if you're a local, or relaxing holiday if you're looking for a longer break. I chose a stay at the independent villa on the property for a staycation for my family, and I couldn't have been more pleased. The booking process managed by Astrid, was swift and the staff were extremely responsive. Check in by Radhika, Olivia and Aveline, was a breeze, with limited contact and sharing of ID information over Whatsapp, it didn't take us more than 5 minutes to be assigned our villa. The Check out was smooth too, our bills were ready and printed by the time we reached the reception, and we were done in 10 minutes. The villa is one of the best I've experienced in a while. The amenities were spot on, and anything we needed was just a call away. I specially enjoyed how tastefully the interiors of the villa were done, the high quality electric appliances and the well selected crockery. It was the comfort of home and the luxury of a serviced residence. My father is unable to walk, and that was one of our primary concerns, but the ramp access across the property and wheel chair available on request was extremely helpful. The spa had a wide variety of options, and I'm happy to have availed of a very relaxing head and neck massage by Neethu. All the staff were extremely helpful and hospitable, smiling faces all around, gave the resort a very happy feel. Most of all the picturesque landscape of the pristine property is what made us all want to stay longer. The pools were tranquil, and though we couldn't use them, it was still a joy to see crystal clear water. The proximity to the beach is perfect, and I can't wait to plan my next visit to the Haathi Mahal and peaceful south Goa.

Haathi Mahal for us is truly home away from home in Goa!! It's superb location and the beautiful resort make us pack our bags every year for another rendezvous! We are long time members here and recently visited again with our friends staying in the newly furbished modern style villa very aesthetically done with all amenities including a fully equipped kitchnette Kudos to Team Haathi Mahal for maintaining impeccable standards in all these years!! Firstly the hospitality is truly amazing The staff be it front office or the restaurant or the housekeeping make you feel special and are always prompt and polite! All Covid precautions were dutifully carried out like temperature checking everytime we enter the resort and sanitizing even the car tyres on entry and ofcourse strict adherence to mask wearing. We felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed our stay amidst the well maintained greenery. The food package offered was totally value for money. The breakfast lunch and dinner buffets were sumptuous tasty and superbly handled by the F&B staff inspite of Covid challenges of social distancing and time limits. The dessert cakes was super duper tasty! Just wished the guests were more well mannered and appreciative of the efforts put in by the staff. It's disheartening to see rude behaviour and high handedness of some guests But yet the staff handled it all with a smile! A big shout out to Alisha at the restaurant and all others working in HM who toil day in and day out to make our holiday so enjoyable. Stay blessed dearies! See ya again soon hopefully.

Our stay at Hathi Mahal was definitely a memorable one . All the way to check in to the in house dining , the chef And his support staff prepared delicious and fresh food and made it a point to make everything so well they took care of the smallest of things . We had our little daughter who is a not use to spicy / pungent and is pure vegetarian hence the made it a point to make the food as per her taste . Service was prompt staff was extremely attentive and friendly. The tuck shop / store staff was always out to help and if we needed anything extra. The pool was well maintained and spotlessly clean the staff was excellent again they took care of the kids at play and were very very alert and focused I was so impressed by their concern they made it a point to maintain discipline and a fun environment for kids . The activity incharge Miara was very creative and taught our little one very interesting things all the way from glass painting to paper flowers to cards . Our daughter wanted to stay at the pool all day with Maira the Incharge of recreation . The spa was clean and the staff was good they knew their job well too . Felt relaxed after a lovely visit to the spa . Let me not forget to mention that guys at the main entrance were also very prompt to disinfect and check temperature also help with the car parking and baggage’s . Highlight of our trip was Sir Rajesh who was a local artist who made our daughter a beautiful sketch we could take back home as a sweet memory. The house keeping was average they is a lot of scope for improvement , however they came on time and towels and sheets were spotless clean , which was sent from the laundry department, the laundry department is excellent, I always make it a point to use this facility. Once you step into Hathi Mahal you will not get disappointed cause the every department is working overtime to make a perfect holiday for you. We really enjoyed our stay it was stress free and relaxing.

We stayed at Karma Hathi Mahal for 5N 6D as members of Karma Group. The 2 bed apartments were very good with top notch quality fittings and very well maintained. Has a separate Jacuzzi exclusively for the members for every block. The food and beverages at in house Casa Lisboa restaurant is very tasty and hygienically prepared. Special thanks to Alisha, Alisha G, Myron, Vittal for making our stay and my birthday celebrations so special.
Will definitely stay here whenever we come to Goa again in future.

Superb location, superb resort, helping and courteous staff and good amenites. It was a pleasure spending time with family at this resort. Haathi Mahal is located just 600 metres away from the untouched, less crowdy, near and clean Cavelossim Beach in South Goa. The resort has everything that you can think of making your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The resort also has a Convenience Store that provides everything from gorceries to alcohol at MRP rates.
There are a lot of good restaurants around the property. There is a pharmacy just 200 meters away. You can rent bikes and cars from a local dealer just 300 meters away from the resort. There is a local taxi stand just outside Haathi Mahal entrance. So the place has got everything. What else? The place has got 3 swimming pools and 2 jaccuzi tubs. Need I say more? It has got Hotel Units, 1 BHK and 2 BHK accomodations. Visit now...

Haathi Mahal Resort and its team had been excellent throughout our stay and went out of way to make our stay memorable. Starting right from changing linens and toiletries everyday in all rooms, to cleaning common swimming pool area and washrooms, everything was so perfect. One of the restaurant staff Mr. Meghanath even packed some muffins for me on our last day, just because I loved eating them everyday in their breakfast spread.
