Porto Alegre hotel is a great hotel for the price and the hotel rooms are quite spacious. The staff were friendly and the room was bright and clean. The gentlemen who checked us in did not speak much English so it was a bit hard to understand, but we had all the information we needed and had no problem getting...

Confortable- well renovated rooms truthfull to their website pictures. Clean Unit, adequate breakfast for its category with helpful stuff and close to everything, beaches, Xania city... On the downside it has limited Parking space with first in served policy and lots of noise in the pool. We had an incident with the quite rude owner about pool use 1 hour before...

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it's very good! Rooms are like small studio flats, with a tiny kitchen and fridge! So you can save a tone of money cooking yourself! Although food in the island is not expensive and is delicious! Room is huge! Also is bathroom. The place is clean and restaurant at the top...

Had a bit higher expectations but the rooms were comfortable enough, the location was great (close to lovely beaches) and the breakfast was okay (the best part was the view and the omelette;) ). What was disappointing was that we told the staff the first day one of the faucets was leaking water onto the floor and they told us...

The hotel is very clean with spacious rooms and bathroom and very nice view. From the pool you have sea view and you can enjoy a nice drink. The breakfast is dissent. Amenities are standard. The staff is really helpful and react immediately in any request. No beach at the front of the hotel. 5 minutes drive until the nearest...

Porto Alegre hotel provided me with the best experience I could ever ask for in Crete. It is located near the beach as well as Chania's city centre. Also, it is important to highlight how close the hotel is to the motor way which made it easier when travelling to other beaches in Crete. Furthermore, it has an exceptional breakfast...

It was a pleasant experience staying in this hotel. It offers good facilities fairly priced. The staff was attentive. Unfortunately, the towels were not very clean, although they changed them in a daily basis. A big plus is the fact that most of the rooms include a small cuisine with the basics to cook your food in case you want...

Pretty much in agreement with the previous reviewer. We had a relaxing 2 weeks with this as a base. The hotel is one of a string of souless looking establishments on the landward side of a busy road running through Kalamaki from Chania. On the other side is a picturesque little harbour, no beach to speak of although people do...

Stayed one night before flying back next day. As a family we had three rooms. Each had a balcony, were clean and beds comfortable. Nice bathrooms. Because out of session break fast needed to be pre-ordered so we didn't bother. Its by the coast between Chania and Agi Marina so not in a bad area. It offered good valie and...
