Forgive me for appearing to be rather critical from how I have titled this review, but growing up knowing the sands at Nomads as being close to perfect- i was highly disappointed by what we experienced when my partner from Zimbabwe and myself visited in December. They hardly had much available on their food menu for the few days we...

We've just come back from Sands and enjoyed every minute of it. I was skeptical at first thinking this would be a resort-like experience but I found it to be quite the opposite a tastefully decorated (large) boutique hotel. I could hardly see more than 5 customers at any given time or place and I was told we were at...

This is our favourite place to stay at Diani Beach. We went with our 8 week old baby for some sun, sea and sleep and had a marvellous time. We love the swimming pool and the boutique feel of the place. The food in the restaurant's great (try the massive, extremely tasty pizzas!) but being B and B means you...

This is by far the best spot on the kenyan coast! Fantastic accommodation, great service, fab new menu, great food with lots of choices, and the BEST pinacoladas! We are regular visitors and we love this place! Never disappoints! The beach is stunning with a snorkelling site and sand bank not too far away. Great spa with loads of different treatments...

Hello, I have been to the Sands before and I loved it. The beach is really great. I would like to book another trip for end of May but cannot find a valid contact number. Can someone please let me know what it is. Thank you,

The Sands at Nomad hotel is lovely and fits perfectly into the landscape without distorting it. The beach is gorgeous and well maintained (clean) and the nature surrounding the hotel gives a feeling of privacy to residents. The staff is very attentive to its customers, smiling and courteous. People looking for a place to kick back and relax in the...

This for me is my favourite hotel on the Kenyan South Coast and I always look forward to my next visit there. The staff are friendly and helpful and the ambiance is second to none. It is also located on a beautiful coral sands beach

We stayed at a few places in Diani and the Sands was pretty average. Staff were ok, but the vibe not great. If you like your bigger type resorts then this is the place but if you are looking for a more boutique place, then suggest lookign elsewhere.

The main pros about this hotel are: 1) It is very relaxing/quiet and a lovely place to unwind. We spent 5 nights at Swahili Beach hotel, followed by 5 nights at Sands at Nomad. Sands at Nomad was a complete contrast as the hotel is more boutiquey with fewer guests (and less hawkers on the beach), and therefore feels more...
