Whilst the hotel has some beautiful buildings it's very rundown and the service is awful. Whilst breakfast is included you need to wait at least 2 hours to get anything - it would be preferable to just be told there's no breakfast. The rooms are large and nice, but seriously need better upkeep. All the towels and bedsheets have stains,...

The hospitality is the very best. The compound is very well kept, very green in such a way it has a cool microclimate and most importantly the splendid cottages which are an art.....its a place where you feel like you at home but on holiday

The initial plan was to stay there for three days and two nights but we ended up spending five nights and it was the best five days! Was a perfect way to end 2014 and start 2015. One word i can used to describe Spice of the Coast is 'Paradise'. This place felt like heaven on earth; first off the...

We spent 12 days at Spice of the coast. It's a little piece of heaven, peaceful and intimate. Thom and his wife are the best! They treated us as part of their family. They show us where to go, and suggest the best place to see in Diani. Cottages are huge, and very comfortable. Every morning monkeys came close to...

We stayed at the Spice of the coast this past weekend for two nights. I can not think of anything but the most wonderful things to say about this place. It was like being home away from home with really really really cool parents. The owners Thomas and Wanjiru were every bit welcoming and their Nephew Phillip, we all fell...

Had an amazing weekend here recently. The cottages were beautifully decorated and well serviced. Tom and Wanjiru, who own the place, were very warm and welcoming and made our stay a perfect getaway. Would highly recommend this hideaway and we will definitely go back.

We stayed at Spice of the Coast for 10 days and all I can say is, that it really made our vacation in Kenya. First we weren't sure because the cottages where not directly located at the beach front but soon after we arrived, we where convinced that we made the right choice. Each single cottage is beautifully decorated and...
