More stylish and security conscious than the average backpackers, Diani Backpackers has dorms and privates in a lovely house. Come to party at the 24-hour bar and pool, chill out in the lush garden, or catch up on sleep in the baobab dorm, where beds wrap around the trunk of a tree. There's a volleyball court, great daily menu and lockers. Turn right after KFI supermarket.

Really cool hostile, great atmosphere, the dorm rooms were really nice and big, lots of space to store things. Food and bar was really amazing. Staff were super helpful. Spa and pool is a nice touch. Little far from main town so haver to take a tuk tuk to and from which is 200-500KES.
Fantastic stay, and I enjoyed every minute being there! Great vibes, friendly staff, delicious food, and very close to the beach. Wish I had booked a longer stay, and will definitely be visiting again.
very cool place, delicious and cheap food, cocktails, comfortable beds, the best staff 💜 I would give 10 stars, the price of a penny and the quality is on top. this is a real hotel 😍 you feel at home with such cool people 💜
I was sleeping in the room for 6 which is very small. The bathroom was really not clean at all, with cold water. We were 6 friends in the room and we couldn't have the keys to close the door. During one night, there was a party in the hostel and many people from outside came into our room. It was very unsafe and every weekends phones are stolen in the room. Its not normal that we cannot even close the door during day and night. The price per night is not expensive but they make a lot of profit with food, breakfast that is not included, even bottles of water. I dont recommand this place. But it can be good for partying.
Had traveled to Diani from Nairobi to celebrate my partner on his birthday, a friend we were with recommended that we step out of our hotel, Baobab, and go check out Diani Backpackers. We get there, sat at the counter and we were having a grand time, minding our business. All over sudden a Caucasian lady comes with a bouncer and waiter to say we have stolen her phone. The exact words used by the white guy she was with is ….. “ black people do not have an iPhone culture” so of course how can we own iPhones… extremely condescending!! Three of us own iPhones so we got them out and asked what they were, does it mean we can only own them through theft!!!!!!! Needless to say, we were thrown out of the establishment like dogs, then they proceeded to search our bags. I have marks on my body from this. Extremely dehumanizing and to make it worse, this happened to me IN MY OWN COUNTRY Such a disgrace…
