We stayed a Kinondo Kwetu for three nights in April, just days before they closed for the rainy season. As it was quiet during this time we were upgraded and my daughter and I were given adjoining rooms in the Mama Taa villa. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, there's a lovely outdoor verandah with sitting area and even... More

I would say that this is a resort "extraordinaire". When we arrived we were greeted with cold drinks and people singing and playing drums. It felt great and this feeling did not leave us during our stay there. The management, Filip, Ida & Anna and all of the staff showed personal interest in our wellbeing and made us feel very... More

We stayed here for a week after safari and it was absolutely incredible. It is paradise and total luxury. The rooms are beautiful, great space, great bathrooms, lovely private verandas. We were with friends and they put us all in nearby rooms with our own open sitting room. The rooms were great as you have 2 interconnecting rooms - but... More

After 7 nights on Safari in different places for our honeymoon, we finished it off with a few nights stay at this private guest resort in Diani. A perfect stretch of the Indian ocean combined with luxurious rooms and fabulous service greeted us at the end of our holiday. The facilities are great - two pools including a quiet pool... More

Utterly, utterly wonderful. If you want tranquility, the space for privacy, to be treated like you are the most important person at the hotel, outstanding fresh and healthy food, a location that is away from it all and near impossible to find in a brochure, and an atmosphere where nothing is too much to ask...... you MUST go to Kinondo... Having traveled across Kenya staying at multi safari camps, we drove to Diani to spend our last week on the beech being treated like kings. Kinondo Kwetu is beautiful; a quiet beach, exotic rooms with incredible decor, a different table setting each night, and above all the care and attention you need. Epic in every way, and even the monkeys... More

We had a fantastic stay at Kinondo Kwetu this month. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and the whole staff are attentive and make your stay really pleasurable. The accommodation is fantastic, and the place is full of great African art (and they'll give you advice on where to find some for yourself!) Our stay left us the most... More

Haven't been back to Kinondo for three years but same great experience as always. Great and friendly service, fantastic barefoot in sand location and feel, good fun exchange with other guests around the bar or meals. Perfect relaxing getaway and already booked my next visit

I've been here with my family, on my own and with a group of male friends in the last few years. This time there were 12 or us - 3 families with kids from 8 to 13 years old. It's always a bit scary going to a place you've recommended but after no time at all everyone felt the same... More

Perfect for a few days of total relaxation, for couples or families. Very small hotel, really quiet and tranquil. Surrounded by natural beauty, warm seas, coral reef, cheeky monkeys in the trees, horse riding on the beach, yoga on the deck. We LOVED it and would love to return one day....
