My husband and I spent a week at Shambani and were not disappointed - a short walk from the beach, it offered simple but comfortable accommodation at a very reasonable price. The only trouble was the brazen monkeys! We would definitely come back again.

This place is good value if you consider what you pay. However, it needs some basic attention to detail and some TLC / maintenance. It was clean throughout and had all the basics. We had a two bed/two bath cottage - in one bathroom the toilet didn't flush and in the other the hot water didn't work; when we mentioned...

Me and my partner visited Diani in September 2015, not really knowing what to expect but when we arrived we were greeted by lovely staff and our apartment was so quirky and beautiful. I loved every minute of our stay and only a few minutes walk to the beach, and a short tuktuk ride to the super market it made...

I stayed in one of Shambani's 1-room air-conditioned cottages, with additional beds in an open-air second floor. It was the perfect week - staff were helpful and friendly, the cottage and pool comfortable, and the overall atmosphere extremely relaxing. I would highly recommend!

i researched this property on this site and others before i reserved, so i thought it would be ok. This is the first time that tripadvisor reviews led me astray. I was so disappointed in this property. I cannot reccomend this to anyone except backpackers or extreme campers. the only good thing found here was the pool. It is a...

We stayed in the little cottage close the reception, but next time would upgrade to a bigger apartment as this one didn't have any terrace or balcony, and no A/C. Also, to get to wifi went to the hotel's breakfast room. It is located at the very end of Diani beach so you will be taking tuk-tuks if you want...

Wow! The staff here are so friendly and constantly checked that we were happy and everything was okay. Security patrolled all night. We stayed in Simba Cottage, which was beautiful. The veranda was the perfect place to relax in the shade. Our chef created the most wonderful meals from the fresh seafood that I purchased from the fishermen each morning....

We were a group of around 10 adults (all family) who stayed at Shambani cottages. We chose this place because of it's very affordable rates and proximity to the beach as well as well as to Diani town centre. The establishment is composed of a group of cottages; we took three cottages for the big size of family we were....

Together with my girlfriend I stayed 2 nights at Shambani cottages. It was a shame we could only stay for 2 nights, the atmosphere of the park is lovely and very green, the people are friendly and the cotttage itself is very romantic. It has a very open and spacious feeling to it, with even your own kitchen. Too bad...

“Shambani Cottages have 1 bedroom cottages, 2 bedrooms cottages and 3 bedroom cottages. We stayed in Flamboyant cottage which is 2 bedroom one bedroom was downstairs and the other bedroom was upstairs. Both bedrooms were en-suite. The living room is spacious with plenty of natural lighting during the day. Upstairs there balconies are spacious enough for relaxing and have an area for outside dining. There is also an open roof deck for sunbathing.”
