I loved the Villa we were given. With the pandemic just starting in Kenya, the whole property was very quiet with only 2 other couples in the property. There are 12 villas and only 3 couples, though one couple left a day after we arrived. The place is soooooo beautiful, well kept, the customer service was beyond our expectation from the guard at the gate to the duty manager (Erica), ever so pleasant and accommodating as well as all staff on board. We had an amazing Chef (Kombo) for our entire stay who spoilt us with his delectable culinary creations. The Villas are very spacious, airy, well stocked with most appliances and beautiful as well. They even have a rooftop area with a jacuzzi and one can entertain while up there. The sparkling pool was forever inviting , be early morning or late evening. I truly got to enjoy the total peace and tranquility with the birds singing and once in a while a visit from the cute inquisitive monkeys from the nearby sanctuary. The property is close to the major shopping centers and entertainment spots as well as close proximity to the beach. They do accommodate families and have entertainment and programs for children of all ages. I look forward to going back again and this time with the whole family. For a good read, long rest or just want to write that book/movie, Villa Mandhari is definitely a must to visit especially during off peak.Take a chance and head off to Villa Mandhari in Diani, Kenya.

Villa Mandhari is a hidden Gem and absolute beauty. It’s a family friendly place. The bedrooms are air conditioned . Having space to cook for yourself or an option for chef is also great. The pool is cleaned daily and we loved it because we could jump in the morning till sunset. My husband and I also loved the gym. The place is also very clean - daily cleaning.
We loved the hospitality from the entire staff - including the security team, reception and manager . Transport to the beach was always a call away and arranged by the hotel . We all loved and enjoyed staying here. Certainly recommend to our friends and family.

A big thanks to Erica and her team for the wonderful stay at Villa Mandari. We stayed here for a weekend and were impressed, the villas are big and spacious, very clean and modern. They're quite hidden, quiet and serene to our joy...
The meals were great authentic African food. The management was very resourceful on organizing taxis, activities like water sports and local sports, island show cruises and other local spots.
Would definitely go back again and again!!

Looks are very much deceiving, upon arrival the road to the villas was very very poor. Was greeted by a chef and taken to the villa and given a tour. On first sight all looked good however it wasn't to be.
Broken glass doors, couldn't close patio doors fully , filthy toilets and showers, paintwork peeling off the walls, fan In main bedroom not working, no change of sheets. And as for the ants and inspects INSIDE the villa it was disgusting and non hygienic.
The swimming pool was filthy and lots of children and families who thought that this was there own private pool.
The only staff I saw was chefs in white tops, never seen a receptionist or a manager no one. Didn't know if they had bar facilities or external eating facilities nothing.
All In all a thoroughly awful place with extremely misleading pictures and websites. This property is far from the beaches and restaurants and uber and bolt will not come their.
Simply avoid.

I would also like to thank you for your feedback review and for the time taken to share your experience on TripAdvisor. It is important to let you know that the road leading to Villa Mandhari is smoothly tarmacked as it was entirely responsibility of the local government. It was not our making that the road was in bad shape. Therefore, accessing the beach from our villa has been made very easy as it takes less than 5 minutes’ drive to the sandy beach. Our pool is regularly cleaned, and we have made sure that our guests are properly briefed and informed about the hotel facilities. We have a very responsible and professionally trained chef with wealth of experience. He assists our guests with matters concerning their menu planning. It is an open forum where guest’s discus and approve of the budgets before any purchases are done. Any other formal arrangement is subject to discussion between the guests and management will. We now pride ourselves of quality assurance as we make it happen from check-in to check-out and that is our ultimate goal as a team to make our guests enjoy every single moment of their stay; giving memorable experience as evident in other reviews. Very chill and relaxed place. Would definitely recommend for a trip with friends. Nice pool area and a volleyball court available. The chefs also put in a good shift ensuring we were always fed and full. Spacious balconies, only recommendation I’d make is more furniture on the balconies.

I celebrated my sister's wedding in March 2024, and truly I was blown away by the entire experience. The facility was beautiful and tidy down to every manicured leaf. The food was delicious and excited me every day. But what really took the entire experience above and beyond was the staff. They were friendly, attentive, generous in aloha spirit and truly made the entire experience so lovely. I hope to return and meet them again!

Friendly and professional staff, swimming pool is ideal for the entire family. The meals were cooked fresh and with great taste. Ffers value for money and I'd highly recommend this space for a family.

I stayed here for 4 days with friends and family to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday and it was nothing short of a pleasurable and excellent stay. We had very quality time and so much fun. The staff was kind and warm. The villa was well appointed but the rooftop jacuzzi was run down, the restaurant was deserted but understandably. All in all awesome stay, well done!

The villa is so beautiful. Definitely the perfect place to have an amazing vacation. It’s also close to the beach and shopping center. The staff was extra friendly especially Edward who went above and beyond to make sure we had an easy time. I particularly loved the pool which was always clean. Would definitely recommend it to anybody! 10/10
