I went with a group of friends for a short 3 day stay. Highs: -The Villas are very spacious and tastefully decorated -The Room and Linens were crisp white and very clean! -Silent Air con in the rooms -Chef John was the best! (Happy to share his number) He was fast and his food was creative and delicious he made everything we asked to the letter-Ask for him :) We were a group of 14. We ate all meals at one central apartment -The pool is clean but it can get busy with lots of Children during the day so we preferred to swim early in the morning and on some evenings where we had to beg the facility to give us an extra hour to have a peaceful evening swim -Chandarana Supermarket is 10 minutes away in a Tuk Tuk -You can visit the beautiful Sands at Nomad for a meal plus a swim / beach walk its a 10 Mins ride via Tuk Tuk or a 25 minute walk its right across on the main road -Amazing Snorkeling trip about 45 minutes from the Villa at Kisite Marine Park also spotted some Dolphins (Very professional guide located at Diani Beach (Hapy to share his number) -Carole from the management was accommodating to us ensuring that the rooms were comfortable for all of us Lows: -Poor wifi though this is common at the coast to be honest...I think its intentional:) -Pool towels are not easily available from the housekeeping yet they don't dry well so really they should be changed daily to keep them fresh -The road to the villa is very rough! Its a walk via a thicket on one side so its best to use a Taxi or Tuk Tuk -The Jacuzzi's in both our villas were not functional and we only discovered this upon arrival -Its a 20 minute walk to the main rad after which you cross to the side where the beach is located and walk a further 15 minutes -The drains in the bathroom were smelling a bit off- Some plumbing work needs to be done just to freshen these -The cleaners got overwhelmed when the facility was full so the cleaning of the non obvious areas like the balconies was neglected -Cant swim in the pool past 6pm This sucked because we love the beach and we would spend the day shuttling back and forth from the beach. If you love swimming unrestricted, this is not the place for you!! -

The complex is rather far from the main road, on an untarred road. It's great if you plan to hardly leave the complex. The 2 story villas are spacious and nicely decorated. We found the wifi to be poor and no cable TV service. Our a/c in one bedroom did not work well and one shower did not work. Both issues are fairly minor, however not attended to after being reported. A huge plus is an on-site restaurant. You can eat at the restaurant or it can be delivered to your villa. The staff are friendly and the cleaning very thorough.

What a beautiful place! Villa Mandhari has comfortable apartments at affordable rates. The pool is MAGNIFICENT; the staff are extremely welcoming. The only significant challenge is that it is a kilometre or so from the main road. But, the security guards can call a tuk-tuk if you don't want to walk. Walking is perfectly safe during the day, although I used a tuk-tuk to get back after dark. The chef cooked great meals if you don't want to cook for yourself. A great place to stay near Diani Beach.

Villa Mandhari is a self catering establishment (with a restaurant option) located off the Diani Beach road. There's a bit of a rough stretch however when you get there, you feel welcome. You can tell a lot of thought went into designing the villas. Our villa had a large living area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, each ensuite, AC conditioning. Well furnished, lots of storage space and a shared balcony (with the second room). This makes it excellent for groups of friends or families. You can chill out on the veranda(h). The WiFi speed was good. The pool is clean and you can access it straight from your villa. Please note that swimming is not allowed from 6.30pm so if you are on a business trip and anticipate getting back late, a morning swim is your best bet. The jacuzzi on the rooftop is yet to be completed. Looks like it will be the perfect spot to relax after a long day The amenities were good. The only things they need to work on are 1) Ensuring the guy in-charge of pumping water doesn't sleep on the job (literally). All the taps were dry on our last night and 2) Staff to be trained on how to anticipate a guest's needs, be proactive and responsive, for example, assisting guests who are checking out. We had loads of luggage but all the staff did was watch us from a distance, probably expecting us to summon them. However when we tried, they turned back with one slinking away. No "Kwaheri" and/or "Come back soon". Just blank expressions from across the lawn. After being guests there for 4 nights, that was very odd (for lack of a better term). All in all, I would highly recommend Villa Mandhari to other travellers seeking comfort and peace of mind.

The villas are self service very clean and well maintained with great customer service. They are in 2 and 3 bedrooms with a fully fitted kitchens or those who want to prepare their own meal or hire a butler. They have a small restaurant as well for those that don’t want to cook. Although not beach front but they have a very good swimming pool. They are affordable andconvinient. We are definitely going back there.
