These Villas have a lot of drawbacks- The road leading to it from the main road is bad so many Uber’s refuse to take or pick guests. Tuktuks refuse entirely to go off the main road. It is also far from the beach so you have to travel a lot to access the beach. Which brings me to the pool on the property- it isn’t clean. The villas also do not have consistent hot water and not all the air conditioning works. They also do not let you know before booking that the JACUZZIS DO NOT WORK. They also haven’t taken them off their website so it’s very misleading and feels purposefully deceitful. Lastly and most unfortunate of all the chef company they hire steals from their guests by charging exorbitant prices for food ingredients. The villas management is aware of this and confirmed the costs we were given were ridiculous but did not do anything to remedy the situation. All in all it was disappointment after disappointment and I would not recommend staying here especially at that cost.

The service is was amazing, kind people, great food, great accomodation and the AC was a life saver. The rates were fair as well. The Jacuzzis could need abit of improvement since we didn't enjoy them.Otherwise, I loved the experience.

I loved the Villa we were given. With the pandemic just starting in Kenya, the whole property was very quiet with only 2 other couples in the property. There are 12 villas and only 3 couples, though one couple left a day after we arrived. The place is soooooo beautiful, well kept, the customer service was beyond our expectation from the guard at the gate to the duty manager (Erica), ever so pleasant and accommodating as well as all staff on board. We had an amazing Chef (Kombo) for our entire stay who spoilt us with his delectable culinary creations. The Villas are very spacious, airy, well stocked with most appliances and beautiful as well. They even have a rooftop area with a jacuzzi and one can entertain while up there. The sparkling pool was forever inviting , be early morning or late evening. I truly got to enjoy the total peace and tranquility with the birds singing and once in a while a visit from the cute inquisitive monkeys from the nearby sanctuary. The property is close to the major shopping centers and entertainment spots as well as close proximity to the beach. They do accommodate families and have entertainment and programs for children of all ages. I look forward to going back again and this time with the whole family. For a good read, long rest or just want to write that book/movie, Villa Mandhari is definitely a must to visit especially during off peak.Take a chance and head off to Villa Mandhari in Diani, Kenya.

A big thanks to Erica and her team for the wonderful stay at Villa Mandari. We stayed here for a weekend and were impressed, the villas are big and spacious, very clean and modern. They're quite hidden, quiet and serene to our joy... The meals were great authentic African food. The management was very resourceful on organizing taxis, activities like water sports and local sports, island show cruises and other local spots. Would definitely go back again and again!!
