Like most people we changed from Spain to come here. Here’s a brief: Nice rooms, nice pools, food rubbish after you have queued up and queued again for drinks, no kids food. small restaurant. Excellent location for most places. Turtle spotting trip is amazing, water park 10 min walk from hotel beach is about 20 mins walk it looks like it’s been washed away. Food around the hotel is good. Arrived around midday and got given a room in toilet flush was on the side waiting to be repaired, bunk beds which was high and Not good for our kids which they did try and sort batteries dead in tv and air conditioning which they sorted. They moved us rooms to a really nice room with 2 single beds which was fantastic. Batteries in this room for air conditioning and tv was dead also but managed to get them working by changing the batteries around. We down the lunch had to queue up for drinks and food, which we thought wasn’t so bad because the hotel was not busy. Kids had pizza and chips. The waitresses served you the food and drink because of the virus which was not so bad as it was not busy. Pools was good 2 round the back and 1 out the front, not cold kids enjoyed it. Went for dinner food was not catered for children not much choice for adults not a restaurant I think people are used to when they go away, small restaurant. We decided to eat out every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coming to the end of the holiday more families was complaining about the same problem and the queuing up for their food and then again for the children’s food I’m Glad we never ate in the hotel it cost us a lot more but less hassle and the children had food which is good. You have to book to have the rooms cleaned the day before, our son had a accident in the bed sheets and we asked to have the sheets changed and they changed them on the same day we came back the sheets smelt damp, asked for them to be changed when we went out for dinner at 7.30 still not done at 11pm went down asked again the receptionist said I will get them changed still waiting at 11.30 seen the maids getting a room ready across from us, asked them if they had sheets they didn’t went to reception again but seen the managers window open and explained to her who said “wait until the morning” really? Had a argument she then said “no maids on tonight” LIAR. Eventually she got the receptionist to get some sheets and I fitted them myself. Later in the holiday it seemed the manager thought she was special in her office as others wanted words with her and the receptionists was scared to speak to her. Not very good for a manager! Only English news channels on tv. Went turtle spotting which was good €25 adults and €20 for children think you can get cheaper we did see some boats stop for a swim and we visited turtle island. Water park is 10 min walk from hotel which was a good small water park kids loved it. €70 euros for entrance 4 adults and 2 children you get some food with the entrance fee. Went to kalamaki beach which is worth a visit €20 in a taxi the beach and sea is amazing. All food places we tried was nice can’t fault no restaurants we tried loads spent most of our money on food. I would come back self catering or a different hotel.

Booked this hotel last second as was meant to be going to Majorca until quarantine came in I normally research for weeks but picked this solely on pictures ! Can’t grumble really the hotel is clean and rooms ok we had to hold shower over our heads as it would not fit on wall but plenty of power in it ! Food we walked into breakfast one morning and walked straight back out wasn’t for us and can’t comment on lunch time as we never ate we had 2 evening meals the Greek salad was nice there was little else to choose from if you want to fill a hole it’s ok nothing special but so many Greek restaurants out there only around £30 for 2 people we ate out most nights drinks were horrid tiny plastic cups of cheap spirits as you expect in AI cheap hotel juice was ok tho Pool areas when we first arrived bliss hotel was nearly empty but as week went on full to rafters and no where near enough beds ! Beds in room really comfy no English tv stations apart from news Over all a nice place to lay your head to explore the island but I would never go AI in any Greek hotel normally just was a fast choice with lock down would I return yes if it was room only

I haven’t stayed at this hotel but I’m looking at booking here for next year. Can anyone who has stayed here recently and had a bath in the bathroom advise, was the room nice and part of the refurbishment or was it in an old dated room? I would be booking a family room and prefer a bath to a shower.

Friendly reception, bar crews & chef; waiters not so much. Food mostly ok, still geared towards the tourist palate - but more local food than other tourist hotspots in Europe. Well located for the beach, far enough from the pubs etc. for it not to be manic. I'd go back again, and hopefully the waiters have cheered up by then :D

This camera was observed by myself inside the actual public toilet in the Karras. I was concerned this was a CCTV camera. On return from my holiday I Made a complaint to Jet2holidays who I had booked my holiday with. Over 3 month later I received the above reply. I
