We booked top floor room with the view, it was amazing. Lovely location, short walk from the town and the beach, nice if you are looking for something away from the loud and busy Tsilivi, but short walking distance. Very clean and looked after, Yannis is very good host and looked after us throughout our stay. I love the fact it’s a family hotel and everyone is so nice and friendly. Especially amazing Iona who served us every day. Thank you for this beautiful holiday, we would love to come back

I recently just returned from Zakynthos from a family holiday and and the whole experience with the hotel has left me feeling like I need a second holiday just to recover from the experience. As a family we had booked five different rooms and with the current situation going on in the world we thought that the hotel staff would treat us friendly and hospitable being that we were the only customers in the hotel at the start of our holiday; we we’re very wrong. Initially pulling into the hotel we thought it seems nice enough and the exterior of the hotel and the surrounding gardens matched the images online. We then went into reception to check in and this is where the stand-offish and cold welcome from hotel staff began. The woman was rude and uninviting upon checking us in. She later showed us to our room with a “sea view” and the sea view was missing and so were all the amenities pictured from their website. The rooms from their website did not resemble the shabby room we was given. Issue number two was the “breakfast buffet” in which you had to request what you wanted the day before and book a time slot for you to eat the following day. I don’t know why customers had to book a time slot as each day we had to wait around 30 minutes for our food to arrive. When the food arrived it was subpar and we would most days opt for a toasty at the beach. Everyday we did eat at the hotel the breakfast always left us with stomachache and I was suggest saving your money on the breakfast and getting it from somewhere much nicer down the road. The hotel describes itself as a “family hotel” and that is very wrong the woman serving behind the bar screamed at my nephew who is 1 and made him cry in which she just walked away with no apology. This was just the start as the hostile and aggressive way in which the hotel staff treated our party. As our holiday progressed we had more and more issues with the manager Yannis, who began to knock on our doors each evening as he arrived at the hotel and he began to yell at us. The final encounter on our 8th day was him demanding very aggressively €60 for a missing pillow from our room, which later was due to one of the cleaners taking it and putting it in another room. After this final altercation we felt very uncomfortable and could no longer stay in this hotel. We decided to check out and get a new hotel for the last two days of our holiday as we could no longer enjoy ourselves in this toxic environment. When we was checking out with Yannis he was very aggressive and forced me to walk around the room with him to make sure we hadn’t taken any towels etc.... I felt so uncomfortable that I had to record the encounter as I was worried he was going attack me verbally or physically after the hostile and aggressive manner he had treated us with for the rest of the evening. During the duration of our 8 day staff at this hotel we had asked several times for our room to be cleaned and the requests we’re ignored. When we asked for extra towels and toilet rolls we were met with hostility and told that these should have been requested during breakfast. We did not request these at breakfast as each day we hoped that the room would have been cleaned and these items replaced. As a family we must have spent a fair amount on the accommodation and food and drinks while staying and the way we was treated was absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worse enemy and there plenty of much nicer and cheaper hotels and apartments close by and more central in Tsville.

Thank you for your feed back we really need it so we can be better for your service. Firstly we have to say that from the very first night you and your family (all 4 rooms) made very much noise during the night and all the clients of the hotel which was full, complained that they could't sleep. This kept all 10 nights you stayed with us and that's why Manager Mr Yiannis was knocking at your door and was asking you very kindly not to make parties at night in the rooms because you were disturbing the other clients of the hotel. Because of the Covid-19 measures it is forbidden to bring people out of the hotel in the rooms. You brought your friends who stayed to another hotel and were drinking and shouting all night in the rooms. Some times Mr Yiannis told you that the rest of the clients would call the police if you continue with this situation. The Second night some other clients of the hotel called us in the middle of the night because your cousin HAD BEATEN HIS WIFE SO MUCH THAT WE HAD TO CALL AN AMBULANCE TO TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITAL. HER HEAD WAS BLEEDING AND HER LEG WAS BROKEN IN TWO SPOTS. YOU HAD A 1 YEAR OLD IN THAT ROOM WHILE ALL THESE TERRIBLE THINGS WHERE HAPPENING. The next day this couple left to your country because the lady was beaten so hard that she had to go to hospital in England. The pillow was taken for the couple and we kindly ask you to pay for it because you are family and unfortunately we realized that it was missing after they left. If after all this crazy situation you feel that we didn't behave properly to you we are really sorry. Whenever you ask for cleaning the lady came in the room and cleaned it very well as we have photos before and after. If you ask you can see them. As for the breakfast it is served ala cart and not in buffet because of the covid-19 rules. Thank you again for your feed back. Ionian Aura Team

First of all we would like to say THANK YOU for all staff members at Ionian Aura. Room and all hotel facilities are kept spotless. All staff is very seriously about cleanliness. Hotel is located on the hill around 10 min walking distance from main city centre, seafront, bars and restaurant. This is ideal, quiet place for people looking for holiday away from city noises and crowd. Nearest restaurant is located 100m from hotel with amazing view on the bay. Swimming pool is excellent for relax and cool down! Hotel bar serve cold and hot drinks, meals and snacks. Sadly we cannot say that staff was always smiling due to Covid19 issues: all staff wear mask what is extremely in 35 degree weather! Thank you again for your commitment! All of you did great job! We felt very welcome and relaxed. There was nothing what staff couldn't do it for you. Always helpful, polite and nice! Just dream holiday spot!

Very nice, friendly welcome, care, tip-top hotel, everything was perfect. A short walk to the beach is not tiring, it is worth it. Good luck to the operators, we can only recommend. Five plus stars. Ágnes and Pál from Hungary
