I must admit, one of the most kind and helpful staff on the island. Big shout to reception and bar crew Well Done!!! Highly recommended. - delicious authentic greek food - daily room cleaning - friendly staff - good location 5min walk to the beach - value for money
I recommend this hotel we visited in August with 2 kids (7yrs , 1yr) its quiet new very clean and stuff are nice (maybe barman little less ;)) swimming pools for adults and kids food bit different every day (i love seafood my husband meat and we all Had sth nice) its all in relaxed atmosphere without silly pandemic stress and we just love greek ppl and greece i really recommend xx
Our one week stay at the Selyria resort was perfect. The food is delicious and varies every day. The location of the resort is also perfect, it is only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Moreover the staff is very kind. We absolutely recommend this place!
This place is disgusting and dirty, room basic but not clean,...,cleaners came in every 2 days but only made bed,and changed towels, no sweeping floors or patio , no wiping anything !!! advertised as 5 star ? stayed in cleaner 2 star, food was same everyday, morning ,lunch and dinner, always cold and covered in flies. drinks watered down even soft drinks,..pool edges covered in green and black mold, water murky ...had to eat out everyday and use another hotels pool and facilities. WORST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN IN GREECE..
I will start from the good part since this one is shorter. Modern and clean rooms, not too small, with mini fridge, hair dryer and small safe. Surprisingly there is no door to the bathroom. But you do have both shower and bath. Rooms are very visibly used and could use some refreshments already but it wasn't a big deal. Hotel is not too big and located only 4 mins walk from the beach. Don't take rooms above tha bar if you don't want to hear horrible polish music all day! Seriously, it was a nigtmare! Hotel staff is very distanced and not very comunicative. Check-in was just bad. Receptionist couldn't even explain the way to our room, the barely looked at us, just asked for the ID wich they take copies of! We got no informations about hotel or it surroundings. Bar staff look scared of people and the drinks - DO NOT DRINK THEM! The lowest quality of alcohol that you can imagine, nasty. If you want to take a bottle of water to your room you will only get a mineral one, if you want soda they will give it in a plastic cup. Housekeepers were discret and hard to notice at all. And restaurand - obviously if you want to try a true greek cuisine you have to go out, but even if you want to just eat something just tasty you won't find it in Selyria. The food was monotonous, boring and processed from breakfast to dinner. One of the pastas was probably 3 days, sauces also. And this horribly burned grill! Everything that was grilled was simply soaked in burnt. Dessert station was ok. A hotel that advertises itself as a 4 * should, however, do a bit of effort and prepare descriptions of the dishes served, here you just have to guess! It is increasing a food waste when people are just blindly putting everything on their plates and the leaving most of it since they didn't know what it is. I am giving 3* because it has a chance to be much better if someone will put more effort! But please - stop playing polish music !…
