just back from this hotel . Had 11 days here and although nice there are a few things that could be improved on . First the slope leading up to hotel . Two slopes one steeper than the other .I am 68 and husband 70 we did manage but on arriving had no help with suitcases even though a member of staff passed us but never offered us any help .be careful if it rains as slippery . A tip though walk up hill in a zig zag It does help . Out of the 11 days there only had hot water on three days this was after coming of beach/pool . Had to keep going to reception to ask them to put boiler on and could not phone down as phone not working .Water in morning seemed warmer . Lady on reception actually came to our room to check our water which made me think she didnt believe us. Breakfast okay but not very warm . Staff very friendly and bar food lovely also beautiful view .Air con was 7euros a day and we paid 20euros for a safe which was not fixed to the wall at all and when i mentioned this to reception she said thats okay as you are the only one with a key . Any one could carry it out and smash it open and asking a few residents about theres they said theres was fixed . thought safe was free as well .Been to Zakinthos four times now and prefer a hotel closer to town even though only a short walk there is no path for about a third of the way and when you do get on a path there are in such a state your most likely better of on the road .We used the sun beds belonging to Venus bar 12 euros for to beds and umbrella can get cheaper but these were padded and there was a bell you could ring to get drinks and food straight to sun bed. although we enjoyed our holiday unless zante is cleaned up and repairs done to paths we will not be retuning . so many people we saw with broken leg or arm .

Stayed in the school holidays with two teens. The family room, with dividing wall was sufficient but we wouldn’t have wanted to prepare food or attempt cooking in it. The restaurants in resort are great so you don’t need to! The fridge was big and the bathroom new. We liked the breakfast, I thought the variety was good and rotated every few days. Our view from the balcony was beautiful and the grounds were very pretty. We were prepared for the hill so it didn’t bother us. The shop at the bottom of the hill is good for supplies. The pool was nice, always had beds available. The drinks and food at the pool bar were great value and quality and the staff were lovely. We found that joining the Tsilivi FB page before travelling was great for information on excursions and restaurants to visit. We would recommend and definitely stay again -we didn’t get to eat in all of the recommended restaurants!

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The cleanliness and internet connection were first class. The breakfast was not varied but was sufficient. Lovely pool and pool bar. Best thing was the view. our flight was delayed by a day but they put us up with no problem. Close to the main beach.

Hotel was clean and breakfast was good, but the two people in the fortnight was Maria the restaurant and pool bar lady she was very friendly and helpful and did her job to a very high standard, the other was the room cleaner, these are normally not the one to get a mention and are forgotten. The cleaner was a little gem and was also friendly and did her job to a high standard too. It has outstanding views from rooms and restaurant The walk to the hotel is not to be underestimated it’s a killer especially going up with bag as coach drops you at the bottom , and doesn’t help when they clean there cars and it make the hill very slippery and is dangerous as it’s concrete.

We stayed in the Zante Palace for 10 Nights on a B&b family holiday. We all really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fairly standard. Continental, cereals, toast, fruit juice and some hot options which changes each day. There was always an egg of sorts, beans sometimes bacon, small sausages and some other options. Items could have been replenished a little quicker but didn’t impact breakfast. The pool is a good size for a medium hotel. There is a section for younger children. The deep end is @3metres so very deep. Pool area very clean. Could have a few more sun loungers as there were a couple of days where there weren’t any available. There is a bar by the pool where snacks are served up until 6pm. Food was good. There is also a pool table by the breakfast area. The hotel is situated on a hill which means there are great views of Tsilivi. We didn’t mind the hills however anyone who finds hills tricky, this might not be for the hotel for you. The hotel is approx 10 minutes walk from the main tourist strip and beach. Our room had a basic stove and fridge. Chairs and table inside and also on the balcony which looked out to the sea. Good size for 4 of us. We took advantage of the air conditioning and safe. The ‘Alex supermarket’ is 5 minutes from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel.

Not a 5 star hotel but it’s more than adequate for what we paid, staff cannot do enough for you. Breakfast is basic but edible. Rooms were basic but clean and tidy with working air conditioning. Pool is beautifully warm, but is quite a deep pool so be wary those with children and non swimmers . The hill I admit isn’t the best if you have mobility issues or If you’re not fit, only cars and motorcycles can manage the hill so if you have a coach or minibus drop off you will need you pull your luggage up the hill, however the view from the top is so worth it. Would definitely go back for the views and staff xx

Fantastic hotel set just a short walk from all the hustle and bustle of the town. We were two families with older teenagers and had a mix of rooms. Pool was great, rooms cleaned to a super standard, breakfast is I good continental style with added bacon, beans, mushrooms etc. Pool bar food is great and I’d recommend the Halloumi salad with walnuts and pear is a must try, so is the king burger if you have a huge appetite.

Area and views are great. HILL is a killer in 32 degree heat the hill is not what you want to be doing. IF YOU HAVE KIDS ITS NOT IDEAL. Our neighbours room was broken into and had cash and bags stolen, with the hotel not really being able to do anything. breakfast is ok very basic but eatable. breakfast is 0800-1000 meaning POOL doesn't open until 10am which is strange but also means you don't have to save beds from 0600am. the Communal Use of floats and inflatables led to a few of our personal purchases stolen as we was relaxing poolside Rooms clean and staff very nice taxis difficult to come by only reason I wouldn't stay again is because of the hill and walk to most restaurants

We loved our stay at the Zante Palace. Yes the hill is quite steep but we do regular walks so it wasn't a problem for us at all. The hotel has great views over the area as a result of its location. The room was very good value , clean, spacious, good balcony, great maid service, nice bathroom, friendly staff. Breakfast was very good for us as you could mix up continental and English. Free Air Conditioning and some toiletries and hair dryer in our room. Safe had a small charge, The Hotel is not far from the beach and only 10 -15 minutes into town, Plenty of restaurants nearby we liked Premier (very close), The Brothers ,Ideal ("Bloody lovely") and Memories. We loved the Oasis Cocktail bar who made the best Cocktails and it was on the way out or on the way back to the hotel, We had good weather 10 nights end of May into June.

Really nice hotel. Ten minute walk into town. Much closer to the beach than we anticipated. Lovely taverna (Paradise Taverna) next to the beach. Lots of places to eat and drink. Friendly people. Hotel was really clean. Air con is extra 7 euros a night and we tried to do without it initally but caved in as it the temperature doesnt really cool down much at night. Well equiped kitchenette. Bathroom had lovely double shower tray and glass sliding shower doors - no horrible curtain here! Balcony had amazing views. Reception sold bottled water 3 euros for 6 bottles, which is good as saved carrying it up the slope. The slope is very steep and a bit of a killer initially but you get used to is by the end of the week and its worth it for the views! Pool was lovely - warm and clean and plenty of sunbeds but was never crowded and busy when we were there. Really nice quiet hotel. Suited us perfectly.
