Nestled on the hill above Tsilivi the hotel has a beautiful view over the sea and the neighbour island of Kefalonia. After a smooth check-in we were led to the Vanilla room. A beautiful suite with a private pool (± 50 m³), extended terrace, in and outside shower, a Jacuzzi and all needed amenities. There is an electronic in-room safe and Wifi works well. Daily complimentary water is offered. Breakfast is served as a buffet but also has a menu with several items to choose from. At dinner time again you can choose from an extended menu and order the dishes that you want at your preference. A very nice concept indeed. The wine list has several local wines to try at affordable prices. Service is impeccable under guidance of Andreas and his girls. Sipping cocktails at the pool bar is another excellent leisure activity. In conclusion a perfect hotel for a relaxing stay.

A fantastic hotel. Just back from two weeks at the Zante Maris Suites, and without doubt we’d go back tomorrow. The hotel is small, spread out on the side of a hill in beautiful gardens with views to Tsilivi Beach and beyond. It’s low rise and rooms are spread out so it never feels full (even though 45 of their 50 rooms were occupied when we were there). We split our stay having time in a shared pool suite and also a private pool suite. Both rooms were extremely well appointed, the private pool suites however are just that bit bigger and more private. They are however further up the hill so a slightly longer stroll back. That said the hotel has golf buggies to transport you if you dont want to walk, it’s really not far though. The main hotel pool is heated and like getting in a bath, the other pools aren’t heated so are very refreshing! Rooms had a safe, hairdryer, pool towels and bottled water replaced daily. We stayed half board and planned to eat out as well as at the hotel. However the food and extensive choice offered meant we ate in the hotel every night. The breakfasts are amazing, huge array of cold fish, meats and cheeses. Cereals, yoghurt fruits, pastries fresh juices and smoothies plus a selection of cooked dishes all very good. Dinner is not a buffet, you have a vast array of starters and mains, enough to have something different every day. The staff also said they could prepare anything we wanted, so we asked for Kleftico, They didn’t disappoint and it was probably the best we’ve ever had! And all served by a great team who were so friendly. The pool bar had amazing cocktails and again fantastic, Dimitris and Maria and the rest of the guys working day and night were so friendly, always polite and smiling. We even tried the hookah, well worth trying if you haven’t before. On to the staff, everyone from the moment we arrived couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. Always smiling, nothing too much trouble, we felt they really were pleased to see us. That was true of all staff, the gardeners, cleaning staff, reception, bar and waiting staff. Yes we found drinks to be more expensive than in the town but the spirits were premium brand, generous measures and beautiful presented. It was the only place I could find a really good G&T. If you want cheaper food and drink there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the town to choose from, however if you want luxury stay at the hotel. If you want a chilled, relaxed break you won’t be disappointed.

Up on a hill near Zakynthos town this hotel is all centered around serving its quests. The food is very good. I recommend to book half board. The menu is extensive so even after a week you still discover new delicacies. All has a very relaxed and earthy design. The staff is highly focused on pleasing the guests (somewhat too scripted but ok). For a romantic holiday the ideal location! Tip: have a look at the Olea hotel (samen owner) just a bit up the hill. Fabulous sighting and also has a top level fine dining restaurant. Both hotels adults only.

The hotel visual is nice and the rooms are nice and private, we had the citrus honey moon suite, decide to get the best room as when we go on our honeymoon we will be taking our children so we had a break here alone. I’m sorry to say that other than a nice private room my experience of the hotel is terrible, i Have stayed in luxury hotels all over the world however this is not one I would recommend, the first few problems started when we used the jacuzzi bath tub in the room, the water would not empty from the bath, the jacuzzi then turned on and off all night long at 3 o’clock in the morning, when I rang reception the man called Demetrius said he was sending someone up 20 mins after I managed to turn jacuzzi off myself I rang reception again and he told me he’s been up to my room knock my door, this didn’t happen, I then went down to reception in fustration at 3.40 in the morning the night before my flight home, he then told me it would be 30mins before anyone would come up, in the meantime the jacuzzi has now turned its self back on again, after a heated exchange to say the least I then had management and 3 men in my room while my partner was in bed, one was the manager she was actually polite and one of the few people who understands English at the hotel, although I was disappointed she did not make any effort to reach out to me the following morning. Apart from the jacuzzi the day prior when using the wet room and shower at the same time the sewerage came up from the drains in the wet room and filled the bathroom with sewage. When I told reception on my check out of my problems I was told it was a misunderstanding, I don’t however see it as a misunderstanding, my jacuzzi won’t empty water it’s turning on and off all night sewage waste filled the wet room and the over all experience was terrible, no apology or nothing. The Bar staff and resturant/breakfast staff are great and polite however only a few understand a word you are saying, the morning of my check out I simple went for breakfast, they had deactivated my key our room was at the top of the hill, I then had to walk back down to reception 3 time a in a row and even then the key didn’t work and they had to send a memeber if staff up, this was just adding to my fustration from the night before, it has now left me feeling tired and travelling Cranky, I have just had a honey moon break with my partner I should be feeling refreshed and happy, the experience was terrible. Only one member of staff Andrea I think his name was , Came out of his way to personally apologise to me and actually talk to me, his customer service skills are great and although I appreciated him coming to speak to me, it wasn’t going to change my experience of this hotel but if he isn’t the manager or a senior member of staff then he should be as he is the only one who made a effort to rectify the issue, we was there for three days if I wasn’t flying home today I would of checked out of the hotel, it wasn’t cheap either, I’m positive you can get a far better holiday resorts than this Staff Demetrius should not be working in a hotel resort, he is a liar who was just sitting at reception with his pal when I actually turned up in my boxers to confront him telling me he’s been knocking my door and I’m Not answering, followed by him then asking me what room I’m in? Ridiculous customer service, worked on the night shift, in the morning he made no effort to apologise to me and would make no eye contact with me whatsoever, neither did any of the reception staff, the English is very poor. Shirt untucked looking scruffy, I am writing this review in the airport as I couldn’t wait to get home to do it, do yourself a favour and book yourself a nice luxury hotel especially if your going on a honey moon, I’m sure the hotel has many postitive reviews but on this occasion it was terrible, but everything can be fixed with good customer service which the hotel is lacking, it’s not even to just say good morning and hello every time you see someone, if something isn’t right is when customer service is needed and it just didn’t exist unfortunately and sent me home from my last day tired with broken sleep and frustration, terrible experience.
