Notes from our stay: The wifi didn’t work in our room. The wifi barely works around the entire hotel. The bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were uncomfortable. Even with the doors and windows closed there still seemed to be a way the mosquitos came in. The shower frame

Can I get a bus from Lourdas to over parts of the island? How often do they run?
Not easily. There are buses into Argostoli, the capital, from Vlachata (at the top of the hill) and there is a timetable. They are infrequent but one goes around about 9am. Not sure how reliable they are though. A couple of years ago they introduced a local bus service between Lourdas Beach, Vlachata and Trapazaki which runs regularly throughout the day during the summer months. One can but presume that it will happen again this year!

"avoid ground floor rooms if possible"
"Higher floors better sea views. Most have very small balconies but there were a few which appeared much larger so worth asking."
"Request room with large balconies, 2 at the front and you would sun all day or 2 at the side overlooking mountains,"
"Rooms facing the mountain are cooler in hot weather"
"The moutain view rooms on the second floor are nice - ask for a big balcony."
$37 - $114 (Based on Average Rates for a Standard Room)
