Atlantica Grand Mediterraneo Resort is lauded for its impeccable cleanliness and professional staff, who are known to enhance guest experiences with their attentiveness. While the rooms boast stunning views, some visitors have pointed out issues with upkeep and slightly outdated decor. The resort's atmosphere is deemed tranquil, perfect for unwinding, complemented by varied entertainment options, albeit with some remarks on datedness.
Its secluded location is celebrated for serenity, despite the remote and hilly setting. Amenities are generally well-received, especially the spa, though opinions on value vary, with some concerns over costs.

Honestly, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. When checking in we were given a glass of fizz and told that there was no need to place a finger on our luggage – a mood which summarises our entire stay. Relaxing, effortless, and sophisticated. The service of all staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. And when combined with amazing views, fantastic food and spotless rooms it was a dream to be there.
For getting around, hotel carts are driven by staff which was much appreciated due to the steep nature of a resort set into a hillside. They were frequent with five minutes being the longest we waited. The Cullinarium’s food and service is excellent. Similarly, the all-inclusive buffet and drinks package was amazing with sirloin steak on certain nights and cocktails always made fresh to order. My favourite area of the hotel was the Vertigo bar, where the cerulean sea is visible from the green hillside and you get an uninterrupted view of amazing sunsets. Truly breath-taking and romantic. If you can’t already tell, we really didn’t want to leave. One couple said they had been returning for nine years and I can really see why.
The beach was also a highlight – a mix of sand and pebbles with a bar 20 metres away. The water is so clear that when still you can see fish swimming around the stones, and I was lucky enough to bump into a turtle when paddle-boarding. I'd recommend a pair of beach shoes which are available at the mini-shop.
The only downside were the wasps who enjoyed inspecting our food, which we saw as an amusing price for staying in such a natural paradise. Similarly, I would recommend that those with mobility issues phone and discuss options to make their stay easier, such as a room nearer the dining/pool area as the funicular was unreliable during our stay. Every member of staff was so kind I’d like to thank them a thousand times for making us feel special and appreciated.

A fantastic week!! I can not tell you how beautiful this resort is and how there are simply no negative points to make! Yes the resort is on a cliff but this is clear when you book it, and the views are just INCREDIBLE! There are golf buggys that collect and drop you off wherever you need to go around the hotel and we never waited longer than 5 minutes for one with the drivers being so friendly! The hillside lift is easy to use to get down to the beach and if you are clever you can see it approaching from the beach, knowing if it is at the top it will take 5 minutes to reach the bottom so there is no need to rush from your lounger!
There are a lot of comments about how time consuming this all is but you are on holiday so really what is the rush?!
The beach was tended to by a very friendly man who clears away your glasses and even lays your towels out when you arrive, we tipped him at the end of the week as he was very attentive.
The water is crystal clear and the speedboat is a must, 2 hours round the coast to stop at beaches you can only reach by water is amazing and it's good value for money but book ahead to reserve a boat.
The food at the hotel was 5*, the choice, quality and availability was second to none and we particularly liked the beach restaurant where you have table service and choice from a menu. You can visit this as many lunches as you want if you are all inclusive and not only are the views amazing but it's a welcome change from the buffet and means you can stay at the beach longer.
The pool was always clean with staff coming round to take drinks orders and collect glasses. There was always a lounger available whatever time of day you went and it was a beautiful place to relax. The cold towels and ice creams mid afternoon were also very welcomed!
We used the indoor pool as a welcome break from the sun and this was the best one we have ever seen.
The entertainment was great, especially the 3 tenors and Greek night but we also loved the saxophone player. One of our favourite evenings was actually just spent walking along the beach until the sun went down though so it's all about what you make of it if you dont like the entertainment provided.
We went to a wine tasting which is included in the daily schedule and was fantastic, I also went to a cooking demonstration and we joined in on the silent disco one evening.
Other than that we took the bus into corfu which was easy and perfectly on time and then just spent the rest of the week relaxing in these idyllic surroundings.
Thank you Atlantica for another beautiful hotel.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
We stayed at the Atlantica for one week (but both would have happily stayed for 10 days) and returned yesterday. We booked via Tui.
We had a direct transfer from the airport which took around 30-35 mins.
Hotel was great, staff were all super friendly and attentive, lots of sun beds around the pool and private beach.
Food at the buffet was generally always good and varied. There are theme nights so it’s worth checking this before booking the other on site restaurants to ensure you make the most of the hotels offerings.
Food at beach bar for lunch / Culinarium for dinner was great and worth getting to. (Included in A/L package).
We were A/L but made use of the onsite ala carte restaurant twice at extra cost which we thought was well worth the expense. Once for lobster night (Sundays) and once for the general menu which was equally as good as lobster night.
The beach is incredible and this was the first holiday that we spent more time there than round the pool, the waters really clear. Bring crocs / beach shoes as it’s stoney.
Bar service around the pool can be a bit slow and lounger service is intermittent but overall we didn’t find it to be a problem. From 16.00 the vertigo bar is open and is generally far quieter and can be closer depending where you are sat around the pool. We never sat at the main bar and favoured the vertigo bar as it was quieter. Service at the beach bar was always extremely quick and efficient, although this is shut at night.
There was fairly regular entertainment each night at the main bar area, this was generally singers, saxophone or local performers. If it’s really not your thing you can retreat to the vertigo bar with sea views.
We also made use of the coach service to corfu which was cheap, €7 each way and was on time there and back.
The hotel is set on a cliff and you will find yourself climbing stairs to get around, although there were rooms closer to the main pool / bar and restaurants so they can accommodate if mobility is an issue. They also offer a buggy service to get you around on site which again is very regular and can be booked when you leave your room.
I wouldn’t recommend the funicular as it’s fairly slow and very hot.
The area of Ermones is quiet, but you can rent boats, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards from the beach. Within walking distance you are really limited to the hotels offerings, we didn’t leave the hotel except to rent a boat and go into corfu town for the day but would have gone back to Corfu if we were there for longer.
We would definitely recommend renting a boat for 1/2 a day as the coastline is amazing we went up to Palaiokastritsa and travelled back making various stops and it was a highlight of the trip, full cost for the day was about €120.00.
Overall we really enjoyed the hotel and the area of Corfu it’s in, and would highly recommend it.

Probably the best holiday we’ve ever been on. Our two sea view rooms were upgraded to a two bedroom villa with a private pool which was like winning the lottery but even without this the hotel and staff would have made this break perfect.
Everywhere was immaculate and housekeeping did an amazing job, changing towels twice a day and keeping water and tea/coffee fully replenished. Site staff were always out early sweeping paths and maintaining the gardens.
Restaurant staff were discrete and the buffet food was plentiful, varied and delicious. Entertainment was low key, which suited us and we enjoyed relaxing in the bar each evening where Maria was a wonderfully attentive cocktail waitress.
The young men, manning the golf buggies to take you around the complex, were cheery, friendly and hardworking. Gergely, particularly, was wonderful to chat to on our journeys up and down the hill.
The beach was clean and there was a friendly gentleman to help you set up your lounger and keep and eye on it if you went to lunch. The hotel beach bar was good but would recommend going George’s Taverna at the side of the beach as there’s more choice and portions are large.
The location of the hotel is breathtaking and very quiet so perfect for completely getting away from it all.
Beyond the hotel, we’d really recommend hiring quad bike in the lobby as they were great for getting out to look at the beautiful island of Corfu. We also hired a boat for the day which was a great experience if you aren’t prone to seasickness. Our adult children loved their excursion to Albania but if you want to explore Corfu town don’t use the TUI excursion get a taxi or bus and explore for yourself. We found the TUI excursion dull, over-crowded and the lunch provided was not great.
The Atlantica Grand Mediterraneo Resort was outstanding and we’ve spent this first week back home looking at photos and wishing we were back there.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. The hotel is amazing, it's on a hilltop and the scenery is stunning. We came in October and managed to get a bed every day. Unsure what its like in summer holidays. The hotel staff are so very friendly from the restaurant staff, bar staff to the amazing buggie cart drivers. Food is delicious with plenty of choice. You can also eat at the beach and everything is included, drinks, snacks, lunch. It's brilliant as I've been on many all inclusive holidays and a day trip to the beach you have to either ask reception for a snack lunch box or buy something once there. Not at this hotel though, everything on hand. Spa and indoor swimming pool nice. The maid service is fantastic, rooms cleaned every day and toiletries replaced, towels replaced, drinks in mini fridge topped up, new bottles of water. The hotel is adults only from 16 years and above and is so quiet and relaxing. I'm a huge cat lover so was glad to see the cats around the hotel, most guests bought them cat kibble. The cats looks very clean and looked after too, not your usual strays we get back home. We named the cheeky ginger cat George. The hotel is on a hillside bit they provide golf buggies or the railway lift to get you about the place. Opera night is absolutely brilliant, 10 out of 10 for the singers, everyone loved them. Greek night was another great evening. The hotel has a bus (big coach) that goes into Corfu Town every day for 5 euros each. way. The area around the hotel on way to Corfu is full of rubbish, graffiti and looks deserted in parts. Corfu Airport was a nightmare with all flights coming in at the same time and passport control queues. We also had a very long wait for our luggage. Thought it had gone missing as we waited so long. Pool is freezing. Some of the older male staff a bit serious faced. You are given times for evening meal which is a bit daft as they never ask once you arrive, plus you feel the need to rush from what your doing to get back for your meal time. Room tax is 4 euros per night and is paid at the end of holiday but I believe its going up in price next year so keep money aside for this. Lovely hotel and would recommend 100%

We recently stayed at The Grand Atlantica Mediterraneo Hotel from June 28, 2024, to July 8, 2024, and chose this stunning venue for our wedding. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the incredible reception staff, especially Magda, making us feel immediately at home. We quickly became great friends with Magda, who, along with the rest of the staff, was genuinely excited about our upcoming wedding, which was a touching and heartfelt gesture. We were escorted to our rooms via a buggy, a convenient service given the hotel’s location on a steep hill. Our room was spacious, immaculate, and offered a serene environment with low noise levels. The views of the sea and mountains were breathtaking, adding a magical touch to our stay. The mini bar was refilled daily, and the TV allowed us to enjoy the football, even though the commentary was in Greek. We appreciated the high-quality toiletries provided in the bathroom and the bathrobes and slippers provided. Originally, we had booked a room with a sea view, but the night before our wedding, we were surprised with an upgrade to a room featuring a private swimming pool and an even more stunning sea view. This incredible gesture meant a lot to us and made our special day even more memorable. The hotel’s dining facilities were exceptional, offering a wide range of options, including vegetarian and vegan dishes. Although we had the choice to dine à la carte, the main restaurant was so versatile and satisfying that we never felt the need. Also Nikos was the best waiter, we went to see him every night. The communal areas, including the pools and gym, were spotless and well-maintained. Our wedding was flawlessly taken care of from start to finish. With minimal input from us, the day was magical, thanks to the dedicated hotel staff who catered to our every need. Constantinos and Stamatis were particularly outstanding, handling everything with professionalism and sincere friendliness. They felt more like friends by the end of our stay, and it was an honor to have them at our wedding, making every moment special. The hotel reps, Nina and Ivan, were equally friendly and keen to ensure that every guest had the best possible experience. The wedding planner linked to the hotel was instrumental in bringing our day together seamlessly. Her expertise and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the celebration. Overall, the hospitality at The Grand Atlantica Mediterraneo Hotel was unparalleled. Constantinos’ professionalism and genuine warmth made him feel like a part of our family, especially as he played such a significant role in our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or a more memorable experience. We absolutely look forward to returning again and I cannot even think of any constructive criticism if I tried! PERFECTION!

We enjoyed our ten days here. As an "Adults Only" resort we enjoyed not having screaming children running riot in the pools or the restaurants. The resort is on the side of a mountain, so to get anywhere you have to walk up or down steps - and there are a LOT of them. This resort is not good for people who are not mobile. The funicular (cable car) is dependable but very slow. The golf carts are faster but less reliable. The pools are adequate. The dinner buffet is not great, the food is a little bland, but it's pleasant to eat outside at breakfast and dinner. Take the raised area for a view of the pool and the ocean. The restaurant staff are very helpful and friendly. We couldn't understand why there was never any pita bread: only white industrial bread typical in Western Europe. The best night was "Greek Night" as there were gyros and other Greek food not provided the rest of the week. We went to local restaurants for three of the ten nights we were there. Ice cream is available in the restaurant, but only if you ask for it. Why? Is it rationed?
Hartize was the most efficient person in the restaurant: she was there at 7 a.m. for breakfast and still running around at 9 p.m. for dinner. She never stops running around; she should be made Manager! Maria was also a very friendly server and very sweet.
We never usually bother with the entertainment at resorts, but here it was very professional. One act is outstanding: The Four Tenors. Their singing is exceptional and well worth seeing.
The beach is small and gravelly. The water wasn't very clear and was cool enough for a rashguard in June. The beach gets very crowded as it's so small. The water is clearer if you snorkel out to the rocks.
The bus into Corfu Town was 7 Euros and tickets have to be bought at reception in advance. Taxis are very expensive: 55 Euros to Corfu Town and 30 Euros to Marti Beach.
As for day trips, avoid the Paxos-Antipaxos boat trip unless you are looking for a noisy party boat. The noise is deafening.
All in all a very pleasant resort we would visit again.

A beautiful setting and as Abdul the waiter said best ‘the two mountains don’t meet, however the people in the middle do’. We upgraded to a suit, inland view as more space for my pregnant wife to relax in the shade. The food was great and the staff all busy but friendly. Good facilities and happy TUI reps filling your day with laughter (silent disco was fab). Our first night was difficult though, a long day and a much needed early night but no such luck as the entertainment on the evening was loud (and very out of tune) on the Friday night, we retired at 9pm and the music was vibrating through our pillows through to 23:45. We did ask to be moved rooms the following morning, however informed there was nothing available apart from a pool suit for an extra £150 per night £1000 over the week. I was happy to down grade from our suit for no return but advised I would need to speak with TUI to do that and to try another night and see how it was. The entertainment did get better but no chance of an early night nor sleeping until after 23:00. (the Tenors were brilliant). The room was ok, sliding doors didn’t work and the balcony overrun with ants daily, meaning we couldn’t really use it unless we put our feet on the table. The inland suit view was also very disappointing, we had the beauty of the back of the kitchen, AC units and delivery area which brought its own noise. I hate to be grumpy and we did make the most of what is otherwise a nice hotel, the spa and pool are fab although getting served does take a bit of time.
Our overall experience was hampered by the issues highlighted but all mainly focused on our room and it’s location (noise and view). Not great when you have a tired pregnant wife who just wants to sleep when she wants to lol.
Others loved their experience, we made some good friends and enjoyed the sun in this beautiful location.
Do read more reviews to get a wider perspective as we picked this place based on the excellent reviews on TA.

I’ll start with the positives: beautiful scenery, quiet and peaceful location. As meat eaters, we found the quality of the food excellent. The restaurant staff on the whole were welcoming and attentive. The general environment was pleasant and kept clean and the swimming pool was divine, never had trouble finding a sunbed, all of which come with umbrellas. Our room was ok, but I wouldn’t say 5 star. Maids came daily and did a good job overall, although didn’t replace dirty drinking glasses. I participated in the exercise classes with Tui rep Ellie who was delightful.
The negatives: we paid a vast sum of money to go all inclusive as we enjoy a drink, but the alcoholic drinks were shocking. The only holiday I’ve had abroad whereby measures are used and then topped up to the brim with mixers which were consistently flat as a pancake. The mixers were also served at room temperature so they load it with ice thus the end result is no taste of alcohol. The cocktails were shocking, no taste of alcohol and largely went untouched, other than those made by Enzo who is the only bar tender who knows how to make them. There are folk who take orders from the sunbeds and this worked well most of the time but did fade as the day went on. It also depended on who you got, those staff who were happy in their job served with a smile but there were a few who were consistently grumpy with one being affectionately known as face-ache! The gym ; the thermostat suggested it was at 16 degrees but there was definitely no cold air coming out so it was like working out in a Furness. There were only 2 treadmills but room for more, similarly there needs to be more than 2 mats. There was a lack of cleaning facilities but It was well stocked with towels and had a working water machine so better than some gyms I’ve seen. Finally, and of no fault of the hotel, there is a massive problem with wasps. The minute you have any food or drinks you are ambushed. Consequently like a lot of other folk, we had every meal indoors. This was a real disappointment as we love eating outdoors but we simply couldn’t deal with them constantly swarming round the table . To summarise, it was a very nice hotel and holiday experience but the alcohol situation was extremely disappointing and unless they buck up their ideas with this regard are likely to lose a lot of custom.

Atlantica Grand Mediterraneo is one of the best hotels we have stayed at.
The location of the hotel is stunning, most rooms are spacious and have amazing views overlooking the sea and surrounding mountains. It is not too far from the airport and Corfu Town (definetely worth visiting), and there are shuttle buses from the hotel to the town at different times of the day.
The service was excellent and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Special mention to Iris, Estefania and Konstantinos, who treated us almost like old friends during our stay.
The restaurant was also great with plenty of choice and delicious local and international dishes.
The only criticism worth mentioning was the cleaning of our room’s balcony. For some reason they skipped this most days.
* Half board is perfect if you don’t drink much and want to explore the island. The days we stayed at the hotel we had lunch at George Taverna on the beach, which has gorgeous views and reasonable prices. * The two car rental businesses just outside the hotel are a bit cheaper than the one offered at the hotel. * If you want to go to the beach but don’t like the lift/funicular, you can get a buggy to the entrance gate: from there it’s a 5 min walk and a couple of flights of stairs. * On your checkout day you can take a shower and get changed at the spa (if you don’t want to pay a late check out room).

Delicious food, you’re entitled to one meal at the Al la carte restaurant per stay - book around sunset where possible for incredible views, the food was out of this world and we paid to go back again a couple of nights later.
