Upon arrival we were met by the owners Harri and Dimitri with drinks and were very welcoming with all luggage taken to the rooms. Throughout our entire stay we were supplied with a fantastic spread at breakfast with various hot and continental options cooked to order followed by Greek specialities. The hotel rooms are very spacious and very good value for money with the studios and apartments offering good value, with apartments to a slightly higher specification. The rooms and the pool area are very clean and generally a very nice place to be. Plenty of sun beds to go around and never an issue with reserving beds. The team were very useful with recommendations of f the local area and supplied drinks throughout the day. All in all a very relaxing and one of the best stays in Corfu I have had to a high standard

We had waited so long to get to the Fedra Mare and believe me, it was well worth the wait. The welcome is sincere and genuine and the owners, Charitini and Dimitri are the most superb hosts. Always on hand to help, offer guidance and general support throughout our visit. A great deal of thought was put into the planning of this place and as a result, the Fedra Mare is a quiet, calm place which was just what we wanted. Nicely tucked away in a quiet corner of the resort yet close enough to all amenities which are within a short walk. The accommodation is superb and of a very high standard throughout, including the pool area and the magnificent bar. It is spacious and comfortable and only a short stroll to one of the best beaches on the island. This is a very clean place ! The lovely cleaner works her socks off to make sure everything is just so and Dimitri went to great lengths virtually daily to ensure the cleanliness of the pool. This is a special place where the hosts will work hard to made you feel good and your holiday very special. One tip - have a breakfast by the pool. Absolute luxury ! - and you won't feel hungry all day ! Our next visit here can't come soon enough !

We really liked it here. The owners did everything to make us feel comfortable. The complex is on the outskirts of the town of Agios Stefanos. It was very quiet and you could quickly reach everything in the town on foot.
The bed was very comfortable. We slept very well.
The exceptionally good breakfast in the beautiful surroundings is particularly worth mentioning. There were new tasty surprises every day. My vegan diet was also taken into account. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just returned from a weeks holiday with my wife and have to admit, this place is fantastic!! Cant really add any more to whats already been said in previous reviews other than Dimitris and Chariniti have put so much work into getting these beautiful apartments ready for guests during these challenging times. The rooms are huge and are cleaned every day. The pool area is fantastic and the location itself is so close to the beach and the many tavernas/restaurants in the village. Possibly one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, run by two of the nicest people we've ever met!!! Well done Fedra Mare, see you soon.

Simply the best apartments we have stayed at, in over 40 visits to Greece. Right from the start when getting in the transfer minibus that they had arranged for us, the attention to detail was fantastic. A smartly dressed driver in a luxury vehicle. I must admit the champagne glasses clinked a little loudly on the drive to San Stefanos!!!! When we arrived, a super warm welcome which carried on thoughout our whole holiday. I hesitate to sing Fedra Mare's praises to highly because selfishly don't want the secret to get out. Number 1 in everything they do. The only way you could improve on what you get when you come here, is if they paid you to stay here. I absolutely love this place and we've already booked for next year. Thank you so much Charitini, Dimitri and all your staff and of course, the star of the show Irini.

This is really a splendid special place to stay. I could quite happily spend the rest of my days in the beautiful apartments. The apartments are on two floors and are cleaned every day. It was such a joy to have fresh towels and linen each day. The views from both balconies is lovely. It has everything and more you could want, I could go on but then there is breakfast, a feast that’s all I will say served beautifully by the lovely Libby? . The pool area is spotless, the sun beds are very comfortable and the pool is fab. The bar area is a great place to sit and enjoy a drink. You get so much that you don’t expect I won’t spoil the surprise, so if you are thinking of going just book. We will be back again. Just like to say thank you to our hosts Dimitris, Charitini for a really lovely week.

Wonderful family run resort, with excellent accommodations, nice sea view and proximity to beach and restaurants. Very clean and cosy, with nicely decorated rooms and a relaxing ambience. Very hospitable hosts and very friendly and accommodating. They arranged a VIP car transfer from Corfu Report given a very short notice. A real pleasure to stay. Overall excellent customer service and with great smiles.

Another perfect stay with Hari and Dimitri. So relaxing. Spotlessly clean as always. Huge well cooked breakfasts. Feel totally spoilt and looked after. My happy place. Hari and Dimitri go above and beyond to look after their guests. Our lovely cleaner was so efficient with a beautiful warm smile everyday.

What a fantastic place.

Just visited with my Family for a week and the whole experience was superb. Demetrius and Harry were the perfect hosts and Lydia was first class.

The breakfasts are something else, you won’t eat anything until dinner, again they are superb.

The apartments are spotless.

All in all, we couldn’t fault the hotel and its staff. I would highly recommend a visit to this superb hotel.

What can be said about these beautiful studios and apartments that had not already been said?

This is the first time that we have stayed here but have known the owners Dimitris and Harri (Charitini) for some years now.

LOCATION
The Fedra Mare is set in the old part of the village which most visitors accept as the best and quietest part. It is located next to a beautiful small church. It's just a stone throw from the beach and the nearest restaurant is just 50 yards away and the centre of the village not much further.

Our stay was in one of only five tastefully decorated apartments, each apartment has two floors:

GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor has an entrance hall with a fully fitted kitchen adjacent to it.

The kitchen consists of fridge, kettle, oven, hotplate, with all utensils, pots, pans, cups, glasses etc that you would need to cook a meal or snack, but why would you when the Fedra breakfasts, lunches etc are "to die for"

Going past the hall/kitchen is the lounge area with comfortable L shaped settee and armchairs, table etc. A large satellite television and DVD player are also in the lounge area.
A cooling electric fan is sited on the ceiling. At the far end of the lounge area is the doors to a balcony with views that overlook the bay and town, there is a table and chairs on the balcony and clothes drying facilities.

FIRST FLOOR
The stairs from the entrance hall lead you up to the first floor, at the rear is the bathroom which comprises of a full length bath with integral shower, also a sink, cupboard, WC and hair dryer. The WC is sterilised every couple of days with a sticker left on it to say it had been done.
The first floor landing area has a large wardrobe providing ample clothes storage for 2/3 people. Complimentary slippers, bathrobes and toiletries are supplied.

At the front of the first floor is the large air conditioned (included) bedroom, with 2 or 3 beds as required, the beds are very comfortable. A large chest of drawers as well as bedside cabinets provide further storage.
A further set of doors leads you to the second balcony with even better views of the town and bay, these also have chairs and a table. There is independent WiFi (included) in all rooms.

All studios and apartments are cleaned daily (by Tanya)

POOL AREA
The swimming pool is spotlessly clean (cleaned daily) and even has a children's area.
Around the pool there is more than enough sun beds for the guests, there are also lounge chairs, sofas and a large bed with comfy mattress.
As there is ample sun beds there is no "Towel Taliban" here so no need to rush down in the morning to put towels on sun beds. Getting to know other guests is easy as it's a small hotel

BREAKFASTS
Breakfasts are taken directly by the pool, cooked by Harri and served by Dimitris and are available from 9.00am. The first course consists of toast, croissants, jams, honey and any fresh fruit juice of your choice, complete with tea or coffee. With the second course you choose anything from the menu that you desire and as much as you want, it's all included in the cost, (cereals, yogurt, omelettes, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, tomatoes (lovely tinned tomatoes), I opted for the full English every day.
When you think breakfast is over, out comes the 3rd course. A plate of fresh fruit arranged beautifully by Harri and a separate plate with a dessert course, the chocolate cake with either fresh cream or ice cream was fantastic.

BAR/LOUNGE AREA
A well stocked air conditioned bar is run by Dimitris who is on hand almost all day long, he even stays up until the early hours to serve his guests.
There are several comfortable chairs, a large television, a pool table, WiFi and safety deposit boxes (free of charge).

SUMMARY
Dimitris and Harri are the most friendly hosts we have ever met, they are there to serve their guests and they do that impeccably.
The accommodation is by far the finest we have ever stayed in, everything is quality, no inferior or substandard fixtures or fittings here.

The Fedra Mare is independent accommodation and not available to any holiday company.

We've stayed at various hotels throughout Greece over the years and this is undoubtedly the best of all.

This hotel screams quality and style.

If The Lord made a more heavenly/idyllic place, I've yet to see it.
