The bed was very comfortable. We slept very well.
The exceptionally good breakfast in the beautiful surroundings is particularly worth mentioning. There were new tasty surprises every day. My vegan diet was also taken into account. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just visited with my Family for a week and the whole experience was superb. Demetrius and Harry were the perfect hosts and Lydia was first class.
The breakfasts are something else, you won’t eat anything until dinner, again they are superb.
The apartments are spotless.
All in all, we couldn’t fault the hotel and its staff. I would highly recommend a visit to this superb hotel.
This is the first time that we have stayed here but have known the owners Dimitris and Harri (Charitini) for some years now.
LOCATION
The Fedra Mare is set in the old part of the village which most visitors accept as the best and quietest part. It is located next to a beautiful small church. It's just a stone throw from the beach and the nearest restaurant is just 50 yards away and the centre of the village not much further.
Our stay was in one of only five tastefully decorated apartments, each apartment has two floors:
GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor has an entrance hall with a fully fitted kitchen adjacent to it.
The kitchen consists of fridge, kettle, oven, hotplate, with all utensils, pots, pans, cups, glasses etc that you would need to cook a meal or snack, but why would you when the Fedra breakfasts, lunches etc are "to die for"
Going past the hall/kitchen is the lounge area with comfortable L shaped settee and armchairs, table etc. A large satellite television and DVD player are also in the lounge area.
A cooling electric fan is sited on the ceiling. At the far end of the lounge area is the doors to a balcony with views that overlook the bay and town, there is a table and chairs on the balcony and clothes drying facilities.
FIRST FLOOR
The stairs from the entrance hall lead you up to the first floor, at the rear is the bathroom which comprises of a full length bath with integral shower, also a sink, cupboard, WC and hair dryer. The WC is sterilised every couple of days with a sticker left on it to say it had been done.
The first floor landing area has a large wardrobe providing ample clothes storage for 2/3 people. Complimentary slippers, bathrobes and toiletries are supplied.
At the front of the first floor is the large air conditioned (included) bedroom, with 2 or 3 beds as required, the beds are very comfortable. A large chest of drawers as well as bedside cabinets provide further storage.
A further set of doors leads you to the second balcony with even better views of the town and bay, these also have chairs and a table. There is independent WiFi (included) in all rooms.
All studios and apartments are cleaned daily (by Tanya)
POOL AREA
The swimming pool is spotlessly clean (cleaned daily) and even has a children's area.
Around the pool there is more than enough sun beds for the guests, there are also lounge chairs, sofas and a large bed with comfy mattress.
As there is ample sun beds there is no "Towel Taliban" here so no need to rush down in the morning to put towels on sun beds. Getting to know other guests is easy as it's a small hotel
BREAKFASTS
Breakfasts are taken directly by the pool, cooked by Harri and served by Dimitris and are available from 9.00am. The first course consists of toast, croissants, jams, honey and any fresh fruit juice of your choice, complete with tea or coffee. With the second course you choose anything from the menu that you desire and as much as you want, it's all included in the cost, (cereals, yogurt, omelettes, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, tomatoes (lovely tinned tomatoes), I opted for the full English every day.
When you think breakfast is over, out comes the 3rd course. A plate of fresh fruit arranged beautifully by Harri and a separate plate with a dessert course, the chocolate cake with either fresh cream or ice cream was fantastic.
BAR/LOUNGE AREA
A well stocked air conditioned bar is run by Dimitris who is on hand almost all day long, he even stays up until the early hours to serve his guests.
There are several comfortable chairs, a large television, a pool table, WiFi and safety deposit boxes (free of charge).
SUMMARY
Dimitris and Harri are the most friendly hosts we have ever met, they are there to serve their guests and they do that impeccably.
The accommodation is by far the finest we have ever stayed in, everything is quality, no inferior or substandard fixtures or fittings here.
The Fedra Mare is independent accommodation and not available to any holiday company.
We've stayed at various hotels throughout Greece over the years and this is undoubtedly the best of all.
This hotel screams quality and style.
If The Lord made a more heavenly/idyllic place, I've yet to see it.
