Part of a cycling tour and only stayed one night. Whilst in a comfort room the standard was exceptionally high, hammock, binoculars, clothes line in bathroom to name a few. A couple of personal requests were met for our arrival. The breakfast is continental style, of high quality. We had previously ate a large lunch en route and wish we had eaten dinner in the restaurant. Fully recommend.
Excellent hotel. Great service. Very good food and a lovely Rabbit. Awsome host who are running this hotel and have fixed up this hotel to what it is today, we experienced that he couldnt do enought for his guests
Stayed here for the second time in June 19. Lots of refurbishment since my last stay in 2017. Great bathrooms, with underfloor heating and walk-in shower, and clean and comfortable bedrooms. On each occasion the food was first class, with an excellent salad buffet before dinner, and a good choice for breakfast. Alexander is a wonderful host, and his staff are friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to help with local information. Rooms at the front can be a bit noisy, but the new shutters which have been installed have helped greatly with this problem. Will definitely return.
Spent 2 nights here on during a cross country ski tour in winter. On good snow conditions, the trials starts across the road from the hotel. Theres a ski depot room for your ski. Lovely rooms rangeing from comfortable to exclusive (some are equiped with a private whirlpool or sauna ). The rooms were clean, classy modern with a combination of lots of wooden panels and granite! It took us a while before finding the switch to turn on the central heating (floor heating in the bathrooms). From then on everything was cosy and warm, important after being out the whole day in the fresh and cold winter air. The host was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We booked half board, and were served a 6 course dinner with regional menu. I enjoyed the dinner and their fine choice of local south tyrolean wine. On some evenings, theres even a dessert buffet - so save some space for the end. Breakfast had everything you would wish for. Despite the fact that the hotel is located on a busy main road, the rooms are well protected from any traffic noise, as long as you keep the windows closed. The bus stops right infront of the hotel, making transfers to Toblach, Cortina or Innichen really easy. Otherwise, the town center is about 15 mins away by foot along the road. Sufficient private parking infront of the hotel. One point less for the busy road, otherwise, I would love to come by again some day and spoil myself silly.…
We stayed for a full week at the Rosengarten Hotel. We didn’t actually book it, it was part of a group snow walking arrangement and we got a half-board arrangement. It is really a very nice place to stay; the rooms are brand new, very comfortable and clean. The food is nice too. Typically every night a five-course meal was served with a buffet to start with. The courses were not too big so after a long day of outdoor activity it was never a problem to eat all of them. Even more important is that the staff is very kind and Alexander, the owner, goes at great lengths to create a good ambiance. The hotel has a big parking lot where you can park for free. There is a charging point for Tesla cars. The hotel is slightly out of the centre of town, but you can walk there in less then 10 minutes. Wifi is reliable and fast. A small remark – also from the other group members – is that the room temperature is too warm to sleep comfortably without opening the windows. Obviously you can choose the temperature in your room, but the hotel is extremely well insulated so the temperature will not fall – even when freezing outside - unless you open the window. I can certainly recommend the place and would stay again when travelling in the area.…
Everything was top level. From Breakfast to New Year's Eve dinner, from cleanliness and comfort of the room to public spaces. Service was impeccable and very friendly; restaurant was really good. I simply and strogly recommend it!
The hotel is located on the main road enjoying splendid views of the dolomite mountains. Manged by very well mannered staff who goes the proverbial extra mile to help their guests. The food was excellent. The only drawbacks were that the hotel does not have a lift and that the ceiling of the top floor bathroom is very low such that one cannot stand-up in the bath without hitting his head.
We stayed at the hotel for a week, walking in the Dolomites. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, but we knew that from our three previous visits. Dinners are great affairs, always something interesting with lots of local produce. Nothing is too much to ask Alexander, Katrin and the rest of the staff. The hotel arranged bus passes for us which made travel to the mountains very easy. We also used the bikes that the hotel rents to its guests. Once again, a great holiday in Toblach.
We stayed here only 1 night as part of a biking trip. Alexander greeted us on arrival with a free glass of beer or wine, then personally showed us to our rooms. We stayed for the dinner specialty, Tyrolyan for the night. The 5 course dinner was reasonably priced, and the accordion music and guest contributions with other instruments was quite entertaining. The following day we awoke to torrential rain and Alexander helped us coordinate transportation to our next spot. This is a great place to stay!
We sent three nights here in July. The hotel has some lovely views although it is set on a main road about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Dobbiaco. The rooms were clean and adequate and there was a reasonable 4 course evening meal . We thought that the charges were a bit on the high side compared to other places we have stayed in the area.
