A friend and I used the rooms here as a base for exploring Norway for 2 nights. The rooms were very comfortable and had recently been refurbished. We arrived later than expected and missed dinner but Marjatta and Raimo had put dinner in the fridge along with beers and a bottle of wine and also put the sauna on for... More

This was a return trip to stay for a week with the very welcoming Marjatta and Raimo in one of their fabulous recently refurbished cabins complete with woodburning stove and sauna (of course!). Nuorgam is located right on the Finnish/Norwegian border and perfect for exploring the arctic ocean, fells and fjords. We picked up an inexpensive hire car (equipped with... More

We stayed in Nuorgam Holiday Village for five nights and it was absolutely sublime. The area is close to supermarkets that have great produce but the village is very peaceful and quiet. We went over December and the landscape was beautifully covered in snow, it such a clean part of the world that the snow shines like glitter. We saw... More

Our 6 nights at Nuorgam Hoilday Village had been so fabulous. It was great to stay here and celebrated New Year's Eve at the kota (Lappish Style), such a memorable feeling. We had seen The Northern Lights every night; especially, the last night we stayed. The sky had been 3.5+ hour-full of Aurora Borealis!. This was so spectacular moment of... More

We stayed at Nuorgam Holiday Village for just 3 nights over this past new year's eve and wish we could have stayed there longer. It is a wonderful warm welcoming hotel. Run by caring, passionate and experienced people, Nuorgam Holiday village is the ideal place to stay for couples or families or anybody wanting to see the northern lights or... More

We had stayed here for 6 nights. We really want to see the Northern Lights and celebrate our new year under sky cover by the Northern Lights. So we decided to pick this place because it situated in the most northern part of Finland. With a long journey by bus to this place. We saw a huge storm of the... More

Our experience was fantastic. We decided to go so far North right by the Artic Circle to give ourselves the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights and were we rewarded for this by seeing them 3 out of the 4 nights we were there. The holiday village chalets were toasty warm and we had our own sauna which then... More

We had an excellent Finland experience at Nuorgam. The accommodation was very good, food was excellent, activities were fantastic and the hospitality from the owners and management was superb. We were a large group from South Africa. A great holiday - recommended for all.

Our Lapland holiday December 2015 exceeded all our expectations. Our hosts, Marjatta, Raimo and family run a fantastic holiday village. We were a family of 18 - range of ages 15 to 77 and one of the family members are wheelchair bound. All the activities arranged for the family were geared for the wheelchair bound young person too. The accommodation... More

It is a very expensive campsite, comparing to the rest of campsites in northern Finland. We had to pay 32 euros for pitching a little hiking tent (in the playgroung area), for one night. Next village Utsjoki, we paid 12 for the same service.
