High quality villas in perfect location just next to Paijanne Lake. Very beautiful view to the lake, and to the natural park. Both nature and villa(s) are perfectly clean. Service, like sauna, local food etc are perfect.

I first heard about Kiuasniemi Villa Jolla from a business partner. He had arranged a successful team meeting at the place, recreational activities included. This got my attention, since for a while I had been searching for a quality place for our management team’s strategy day.
And so it turned out that Villa Jolla filled also our expectations and needs perfectly. Our agenda contained strategically important issues, and for the brilliant outcome of the meeting we have surely the atmosphere and the ambience of the place to thank for.
At lunch time, our day was surprisingly and pleasantly interrupted by the Kiuasniemi chef and his amazing lunch menu that he had conjured from autumn’s pure ingredients: pike perch from Lake Päijänne with rye flour coating as main course, and blueberry mousse as dessert. After these delicacies, we were energetic to continue our afternoon work towards important decisions.
At the end of our day we enjoyed the warmth of both Villa Jolla’s sauna and the lakeside sauna near the villa. I must also mention that from the sauna each member of our management group took a dip in the water which was as much as +12 degrees Celsius. After the sauna and before heading home we were treated with a delicious Kiuasniemi evening snack of which we all dream about still to this day.
Even for these kinds of shorter one day meetings like ours, Kiuasniemi Villa Jolla is located in an optimal distance from the entire Southern Finland. However, our team made a decision and also a reservation that on our management group’s spring strategy meeting, we will be staying for an overnight visit in Villa Jolla. Then, after a hard day’s work, we will head to an unforgettable hiking trip on a nature trail in Kelvenne Island. Kelvenne is the main island of Päijänne National Park, and it is only a short boat ride away from Kiuasniemi. The fishermen of our team will be treated with a trolling trip in the fishy waters of Lake Päijänne with a Kiuasniemi professional guide.
Kiuasniemi Villa is an excellent base for management groups and key teams to meet up. The place offers amazing meeting premises with a lakeside view, private accommodations to all participants, and two separate sauna units for men and women.
I recommend the place with sincere warmth.

We overnight and spent a day working for company business plan. Facilities and nature around us could not be better for this kind of meeting or any kind of leisure. Villas are spacious, well equipped with latest technology and with nice architecture. What is the most impressive lake is only one step from terrace.
Firts evenging we had very nice bath at Villa Sauna enjoying outdoor pool and exceptional northern lights on the sky. Ice cover of the lake was booming amazingly accompanying the show. Sauna was spacious, stove extremely good and all decorated with good taste.
Sleeping rooms were equipped with good beds and villa with excellent air quality. Bed sheets were fresh and clean.
Next day was for working. All the technology worked as planned and we had a very productive session with good results. My opinion is that big windows to the lake and nature around makes this place unique for recreation any kind.

Perfect location, beautiful surroundings and state-of-the-art luxury villa welcomed us for a combined business and weekend getaway in November 2014. Everything was extremely well organised: first some running in the woods, then light lunch followed by business-related discussions and later delicious dinner which included mouth-watering ingredients from the Padasjoki area and the Paijanne lake.
The villa itself is very stylish and well equipped with a sauna and an open air jacuzzi. I can highly recommend this property for any sort of trip: business or pleasure. It offers all the possibilities and facilities one can ask from a high quality resort.

Just perfect finishing and decoration in all premises. Suits very well to combine business and Finnish nature leisure, all arrangements are flexible and easy to deal them. Location in the heart of lake district surrounded by unique national park with stone paintings. Staying is crowned with possibility to utilize boating in the lake and hiking to nearby sightseeing tower with magnificent view. Suits fine to groups of men/women and for different ages as many separate buildings are available. Service and food were just great - can only recommend. And all this in Finnish autumn, which normallyt is not the best and most luring time of the year for travelling in Finland

We stayed at Kiuasniemivillas for one weekend in June 2014. The house was really nice, very clean and equipped with all we needed. It was beautifully furnished and the view was stunning, it was really like in the pictures. The garden was still a bit under construction but clean and tidy. The small beach was perfect for the children. Our host was friendly and helpful beforehand and we got all the information needed. When we arrived we were greeted by a co-worker who showed us around and later during the day he took us by boat to the isle of Kelvenne, where we did a lovely walking tour, had lunch by a campfire. The nature there is really beautiful with beaches, pinewood forests, and ridges to walk on. I would (and have) absolutely recommend this place for other families and groups.

We stayed in Villa Jolla and were very happy there. The bedrooms are decorated in a very fine Finnish style, all villa is built on sustainable concept and is located just near the lake, with a small beach. We can highly recommend to give a try the sauna and jacuzzi there. Wifi worked perfectly all through the house. Very clean and bright.
The big lounge with a kitchenette have a wonderful view, the sunsets are stunning there. Close to the harbour, with facilities for renting kayaks, too.

Truly outstanding location for our family reunion. Clean, well equipped house with large full kitchen, 7 bedrooms, laundry, and modern sauna on the edge of pristine lake Päijänne. We used kayaks to explore around nearby islands, and spent a day trekking in the national park on Kelvenne Island. Our host was helpful and available for every request.. and able to reschedule as needed for weather. We would highly recommend this rental!

We had to cancel our fishing trip due technical problems in our bout. Luckily the Kiuasniemi and the staff offered priceless help for our misery. I have never experienced service as good as it was. Also the cottage was excellent.

This place is great! Villas are new, clean, functional and just by the lake. Lake itself is very clean and bright, so swimming in it is a real pleasure. Service and food are top quality - this truly is a great place to have a team meeting or a relaxing family holiday.
