Nice location on the lake with easy access to Abisko National Park and it's trails.Hotel is not much more than a Hostel with ensuite baths. Very average by today's standards. Many people use as a base for Aurora Borealis viewing even if they are not staying at hotel. If you are going up check weather and book at the last...

The staff were lovely however it is seriously understaffed. Check in was 3:00 pm and check out is 10:00 am, these times do not appear to coincide with train arrival times. This is particularly disappointing when train is the most common means of arrival and many have toughed it out in economy on the horrible 16 train from Stockholm. Nothing...

This is in a good location, only a few minutes walk from the train station and 10-15 minutes from the Sky Station. Staff are helpful and there is a lot of information around the lobby regarding the local area and the activities available. There is certainly a lot to do in the area. The room was a pleasant surprise. Although...

Arrived by train and had dinner here before setting out on a night photo aurora tour. The walk from the train is not far at all, though a bit tough if the road is icy and you're dragging suitcases. Had pretty basic expectations for dinner and was super pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was!! Liked the place so much...

The hotel/ mountain station really is the hub of activities in the National Park – train station within walking distance; trails at the doorstep; weather permitting, aurora-spotting right outside of the complex; 24-hour reception where you can get information and sign up for activities. The spacious lobby is the meeting place for most of the tours and here are the...

Came here in February for the Aurora lights. I haven't stayed in hostels for years because I don't like to clean and I like a bit of comfort, but I'm convinced this is not the average hostel. It is big, reception is informative and knowledgable. Restaurant is very good with beautiful views. Reservation is highly recommended if you want to...

The hotel is next to the train station and lots of accommodation for different budget. They have many activities and guests can sign up for them. The room may be small but great for a good rest. Breakfast was good with variety of items. The staff were helpful when my train was cancelled from Abisko to Kiruna. They contacted the...

The place is amazing, located into the national park of Abisko. It might be a little bit pricy, paying 40€ for a dorm in a hostel. But the facilities are extremely well adapted to the cold, like most Scandinavian buildings. Plan your days, and your nights! You wouldn't wanna loose the northern lights near the lake! I took many pathways...

The reception people are very helpful. They let you crush in the lobby while waiting for the light show to start. They show you hiking routes. Do not be afraid to rely on this place for hanging out until the lights are out!

I visited the hotel without staying there. My wife, her parents (Swedish) and me visited this hotel because has a nice restaurant with a spectacular view. According to the staff you must to book in advance for those tables who are faced to the lake. Amazing. The service it was OK, nothing special. Super slow the kitchen. The waiter no...
