The place is amazing, located into the national park of Abisko. It might be a little bit pricy, paying 40€ for a dorm in a hostel. But the facilities are extremely well adapted to the cold, like most Scandinavian buildings. Plan your days, and your nights! You wouldn't wanna loose the northern lights near the lake! I took many pathways... More

The reception people are very helpful. They let you crush in the lobby while waiting for the light show to start. They show you hiking routes. Do not be afraid to rely on this place for hanging out until the lights are out!

I visited the hotel without staying there. My wife, her parents (Swedish) and me visited this hotel because has a nice restaurant with a spectacular view. According to the staff you must to book in advance for those tables who are faced to the lake. Amazing. The service it was OK, nothing special. Super slow the kitchen. The waiter no... More

One of the most civilized hostels I've ever seen and one of the most overpriced ones at the same time. Breakfast is average, a common kitchen is available, you can enjoy sauna if you like. The best thing here is the view from the window and around.

Nice views from the Windows. A bit old fashioned infrastructure and rooms but renovated and restaurant offers good meals. Visitor center just outside the hotel. New short trails nearby and new parking lots for a lot of people. Real hikers starting point.

Stayed for one night in a very comfortable twin room with en-suite. Everything was clean and of a good standard. After spending the previous night on the sleeper train from Stockholm, this was a very welcome surprise, as we expected it to be a basic mountain cabin.

The STF station is a great base to explore the Abisko area at the foot of Abisko Mountain, beside lake Torneträsk, adjacent to the Abisko River and a few hundred meters from the Aurora Sky Station chair lift. We stayed in duplex chalet 210 (attached to 209) which was quite roomy for the four adults and two kids. Two small... More

The touriststation is situated beautifully in the middle of the Swedish mountains. In close proximity to lots of nice hiking. Receptions are friendly and helpful. vänlig och hjälpsam. But the station is worn down and unclean. The campsite was beatiful but the service nonexistent. The toilets where not cleaned during the whole week, they were so dirty and the smell... More

STF Abisko tourist station does not look very interesting from the outside with its exteri5from the 40/50'is, but the inside is full of charm and character. The view over lake Torne träsk is fabulous, however cutting down a few old trees would improve it even more. I only stayed there for a few hours waiting for my train but I... More

My husband and I stayed at STF Abisko Mountain Station for two nights and we enjoyed it very much. The food in the restaurant was very good (we had breakfast and dinner), the staff very professional and the room very comfy. We slept very well in our bed! We went up to the highest top of the mountain Njuola and... More
