This was far better than expected. Our room was small, but clean and modern, and for one night we needed nothing more. It's simple, but done well. The breakfast buffet was good, and the panoramic views are a fantastic way to start the day. It's close enough to walk to the Sky Station - which was a great bonus.

We stayed three nights in a twin bed room with ensuite. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided as was a hairdryer and small hanging space for clothes. The beds were comfortable but the room, as seems to be the norm in Sweden, was very stuffy. The only option is to open the windows and take a chance with the... More

We stayed in one of the cottages, they are spacious and equipped with what you need. The drying cabinet was a bit malfunctioning so a tune up before the summer season would do good. Good that we could charge our PHEV car at the house. We had two dinners at the restaurant in the tourist station with the first rated... More

I wasn't sure what to expect, so had no expectations but the place, service and food was a great surprise to us! I loved the chair lift both ways but going down and looking at the views was exceptional. The meal up there was fantastic and served in a professional way. The facilities were better than I expected and the... More

Every year in the end of April, the STF (Swedish Tourist Association) arranges a weekend with randonné skiing (toppturer) in and around the Abisko Mountain Station. The station itself is a no fuss brick building tucked in between the single track railway, the mountains and the lake Torneträsk. The rooms are of basic standard but still ok. It is quite... More

This is a nice place with a wide selection of activities and a perfect base for catching northern nights at night. The room is comfortable and of good size. The meals are pretty good too except for lunch.

Stayed here just one night, unfortunately. Had a great room on the second floor with amazing views over the lake and mountains. Spotlessly clean room with plenty of teas, coffee and hot chocolate. Hotel itself is warm and friendly, lots of cosy places to sit and chat (when not outdoors!) . Breakfast was great. Check out at 12 noon was... More

We booked a personal 6 bed lodge and was expecting a simple small dorm room to ourselves since Abisko Tourist Mountain station give us an impression that it is operating like a dormitory. However we were surprised to find that our lodge is wooden house, with nice scenery on the surroundings. The house is double storey and the interior is... More

Stayed here as part of a package to visit the aurora mountain station. Pleasantly surprised with clean, well equipped rooms, a tasty Swedish fixed menu and a hearty breakfast. It's clearly popular with the numerous cross country skiers in the area. The hotel has various levels of rooms, we were in a superior room which is part of the main... More
