We picked this place, because en suit bathroom was very important to me, I did not want to go out in the middle of the night just to go to toilet, and this place seemed to be my only choice in Abisko. I initially booked for a double room, however after reading the reviews on tripadvisor on how small those... More

We stayed here as part of a 'Lights Over Lapland' package. The rooms are functional and warm, but you are not here to sit in your room. The whole reason to be here is to get out and about. The team at the lodge are welcoming and attentive. The food was incredible, a great variety of local produce whether that... More

We stayed for 4 nights at this lodge with the main objective to view the auroras and we just loved our stay there. The lodge's position was great for aurora viewing, the Superior room was very comfortable, the team put in a real effort to serve excellent food with a nice local touch and owner Mina generally made us feel... This is the best place to stay for a heli ski adventure with Heliski Guides Sweden. Abisko Mountainlodge has great staff and the food and service is on top. The combination of its location with the knowledge from the staff that lives in Abisko because of their outdoor interest is top notch.

The hotel offers a nice sauna, excellent food either for breakfast or for dinner. Book in advance the dinner. Ask for the prawns' dish is delicious and the white fish!!! The rooms are small but you don't need more. The lobby is close to the bar so for that reason I don't recommend to have your room close to them... More

We visited in Jan 2015 and had a great time. Prior to arriving we had booked vegeterian meals at the lodge's restaurant and it was delicious!!! The lodge is very cosy, great for socialising and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. We came to see the northern lights and not at all disappointed.

I stayed here before a backpack trip. The room was beautiful. The dinner was superb. The staff even made a sack breakfast for me, since my trip started before the breakfast buffet opened. They had a teapot in the room. I had a birch grove outside my window. I'm a fan! I'd love to come back here and see the... More

In a quiet location, near the first of two railway stops in the area (get off at Abisko Oste = East). Simple smallish rooms in main building, nice common lounge area, great staff, excellent food for breakfast (buffet) and high quality dinners. Close to walking tracks. A lovely atmosphere all round. Highly recommended.

I stayed here after arriving on the night train, before starting the Kunsleden walk. I was warmly welcomed, had a beautiful dinner and a really lovely clean room. The staff at all times were friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend the lodge. Easy to access from the Abisko Ostro train stop.
