This is a hotel for weddings, parties and big groups. But individial guests will find a good spa there, as well large wellness center and a swimming pool with a big jacuzzi. But the food is quite poor and the waiting time very long. Although the menu is rather concise we waited almost half an hour for a small portion of goose liver with a half of an apple. The food lacks taste and concept. It’s a real pity. Moreover, our room was quite cold as the heating system did not work properly and HDMIs are blocked in tv sets, so you cannot use them as monitors to watch sth from your laptop or Ipad. Well, a place not to come back.
I had a huge pleasure to stay at Kawallo Hotel for a few days in May 2018 with my family. Was surprised to face such a quiet and full of nature hotel, placed in the middle of the forest, with great facilities, plenty of places to seat outside and enjoy birds' singing, fresh air breathing or eating great food in or out of the hotel. Very nice place.
My sister and I stayed at this hotel in October of 2012. We arrived late at night during which we had some concerns with the road that our GPS was trying showing us to take. But after driving the very narrow road ( almost like out of a horror movie) imagine our delight when it opened onto a beautiful hotel with amazing grounds. Check in was smooth and quick. Our room was clean, new and very spacious. Food was amazing but the only concern was one meal later in the evening. We seemed to be the only non-locals and a party of men were dining also. Their children literally ran amok in the dining area, pushing under our chairs and screaming; we did ask our waiter to please ask the party to have the children be a little more quiet but he seemed reluctant to do so. We are fairly certain that he and the staff did not wish to offend the local people as they obviously will return to the hotel where as we may not have the chance to return to Poland in the near future. But over all, this hotel was wonderful, clean and tidy and the outside area was very beautiful.…
We stayed here for a wedding so didn't do much looking around for alternatives. One irritating thing was when you book and say "my wife and I" in the booking why in the world would you get a room with twin beds? We asked to change and were immediately told there were none. So we complained and were then moved but had to wait more than an hour. We did get a really nice room only to be woken up everytime someone went through the doorway which needs a lot of WD40! Overall it has the feel of somewhere that could be very nice once it's up and running. If it already is then that is more of a problem. The food was amazing however.
