We came to visit Liptov, especially Folk festival Vychodna, which appr. 40km away. The location of the pension is very nice and quiet, with great view. The pension has great playground with lost of space (you play football if you want :)), the property is also very nice with friendly stuff. O do recommend to visit this location

This is simply the place to go. A family-owned B&B with incredibly kind and friendly owners that do everything possible to make you feel great here. The surroundings and hiking tracks to Ziarska chata make this place a great starting point. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms just the same. If you ever look for a fantastic accommodation in Ziar, look no further. This is the place to stay.

Trochu oneskorene ale nedá sa inak. Penzión Frank je tým najlepším ubytovaním na Liptove ak máte v pláne turistiku alebo oddych v nádhernom prostredí. Nachádza sa na konci Žiaru a je výborným východiskovým bodom pre turistiku smer Žiarska dolina ale aj širšie okolie. Fantastické ubytovanie, raňajky, výhľad a hlavne výborný ústretový personál a pán majiteľ. Odporúčam. Miesto kam sa budete chcieť znovu vrátiť. Už sa neviem dočkať na moju ďalšiu návštevu. 100%

This is our favorite place to stay in this area. It's perfectly positioned near Ziarska valley for easy and moderate hikes or for easy skiing. And the people running the hotel are the best! Very friendly and helpful, it's a family run business and it feels like it.

Il personale é gentilissimo e davvero amichevole, sempre disponibili. La camera era davvero molto bella , accogliente e ospitale. Tutto in legno come le tipiche case di montagna, un mix tra moderno e tradizionale. Molto vicino vi é una pista provvista di 2 skilift . Possibilitá di rilassarsi, dopo una giornata sulla neve o una passeggiata nei d´intorni, nella sauna o nella jacuzzi . Possibilitá di scelta tra varie tipiche colazioni slovacche molto buone e abbondanti. Non vediamo l´ora di tornarvi.
