Detailed Reviews
Many ups and downs, and the place seems managed by two different people with different standards.
The surrounding area is amazing, with a smart layout and highly maintained. The rooms are beautiful and confy while authentic to the area and the position is great as you have the sea and the Danube close by. BUT:
1. No sound proofing in the rooms: you can hear every conversation clearly from the next and above rooms
2. There was a large group partying in front of our room until 4 in the morning in the first night and although we called the reception at 01:00 and ar 03:00 the staff did nothing in our aid.
3. The restaurant staff is poorly trained and disrespectful while the food is super basic and not remotely authentic. After 3 days we gave up and started eating in the village restaurants, Delta Marina being a good choice
- the cleaning staff is super nice and friendly, maybe they should be moved in the restaurant area
4. Being able to rent bicycles is great but be aware as most of them don’t have functional breaks and the chain is rusty and not well fixed.
5. The pool area is beautiful but don’t be fooled by the pictures as the water is brown, not blue.

The 3 nights spent in Green Village were great! We had a spacious room with a beautiful view. Despite this, we would have liked to have a single blanket for our double bed and maybe some thicker walls. We surely have become very close to our neighbours on the landing, haha.
The staff was super friendly and responsive, they always offered to help us with everything we needed, they even convinced us to participate in a darts game that proved to be super fun. We thank Madalina, the couple of entertainers and the receptionists for taking care of us!
The less pleasant part was that we found two food boxes left in the fridge, most likely left by guests who stayed in our room before. I think that the resort should play more attention to details.

The complex is located at a short distance from Sfantul Gheorghe Village but also the wild beach, with a beauty that cannot leave you indifferent.
At every step you find something to admire: free cows, birds, flowers, impressive shrubs… And the beach is a dream: wild, huge, and the merge of the Black Sea with the Danube leaves you speechless…
We greatly appreciate the guest-employee communication and the particularly welcoming involvement of those in the Guest Relations Department.
We were impressed by how kind and helpful the employees are.
They are always with a smile on their face and have left us a very pleasant impression. They are people we would like to see again when we return to the Danube Delta.
Thank you Sebastian and Madalina because thanks to you we left the Danube Delta with unforgettable memories!

To make it easy to follow the review, I will outline the pluses and minuses of the experience.
Pluses:
- the wonderful landscape
- the existence of a swimming pool
- the existence of a children's club (quite austere in terms of space, facilities and activities) but sufficient for small children
- the restaurant is ok, as is the location, quite spacious inside and with an outside terrace
- activity center where there was a mini cinema with films for children, a nicely decorated central relaxation room, rooms where you could play board games (they were at the reception), a billiards room and a conference room.
- very large rooms, both the bedroom and the living room, king size bed, pillows and down beds, very nice bamboo furniture, in tune with the location
Cons:
- the lack of luggage transport (even for a fee, if you come with Navrom and not with the location's private transfer) as you have to walk from the port to the location for about 10 minutes on a sidewalk interrupted by sandy streets (carrying a troller after you and maybe some kids)
- no one informs you of anything. I sent an email before I arrived in which I asked him to help me with information of interest considering that I was coming to the delta for the first time with 3 small children and I received some general information but nothing professional, completely.
- food at a maximum level of 3 stars. For 7 days breakfast was the same and for dinner always fried fish (from the supermarket, not local fresh fish) with polenta and pasta with some sauce every evening and on the side, potatoes or mashed potatoes, a variant of chicken meat and pork and possibly some vegetables (besides, every evening there were bowls of raw vegetables, salad and cold meats like sausages, smoked meats that should have been in the morning).
- I have never eaten caviar salad for breakfast. IN THE DELTA!!!
- the only drink offered at the evening meal was water, which ran out very quickly and you had to wait for a refill. Sometimes we didn't even have cutlery and you had to announce and wait until they brought it.
- the swimming pool (exists only for adults) was green from the first day and was non-functional for 3 days due to clarification treatment. On our last day they reopened it but it was still green.
- the pontoon next to the pool, on which there were sunbeds once, is dilapidated, with broken boards, without a parapet
- the jacuzzi is non-functional and the related pontoon is damaged with broken boards that cannot be walked on safely
- the bathroom smells terribly of the septic tank. Pungent and persistent smell throughout the stay. It smelled nice only after it was cleaned, but by evening the smell returned.
- there was a mosquito device in the room but no pills. You should have bought them...at the 4-star hotel in the delta...
Almost the whole place looks run down and you can see that it is no longer in its prime not to mention the attitude of the staff.

We went for a family holiday, having a half-board. The location is nice, very green, clean, with nice pool. What really disappointed us was the quality of service, the food and the noise in the rooms.
I cannot describe how awful the food was, both for breakfast and dinner. It was canteen food, frozen fish and very low quality ingredients. Also, the restaurant personnel were unfriendly, rude and not at all wishing to help.
Another downfall is the noise isolation of the rooms - it is basically nonexistent, you can hear any small noise. This is not at all nice when you want to relax.

I ordered fish zacusca and received a cold stew with a kind of meatballs in it - far from any form of zacusca and tasteless. In carp brine the fish was raw and the waiter said that the fish is cooked but we do not know what the wild carp is like - an unprofessional staff- brainless, the blood in the fish is blood both in the wild and in the farm. I asked for coffee and it took more than 15 minutes until it came in the conditions in which there were at least 30 customers already served on the terrace… I do NOT recommend!

The girls at the Camping Shop and at the Food Shop are very rude and grumpy, you should come with the other exact amount you need to pay or otherwise they won’t struggle to give you the change.
Every single time we had to pay by card or to give the exact same money, if you don’t have the exact amount they act offended and rude.
Low quality people.
I preferred to go to the restaurant in the village because the service was better and the menu variety was much better.

I wanted to write this review hoping to see a change. The place is spectacular, pool is clean and the staff is very nice. The only thing that needs to be 100% changed is in the restaurant area. I understand there are two different cooks one theat takes care of lunch and a different one for dinner. Regarding the one for dinner we congratulate him/she for every meal every night! Regarding the one that takes care of lunch we strongly recommend to be changed! Every day the food came after min 1h30‘ , the food was always horrible…total failure! In my opinion all the food this person makes is unhealthy especially for kids. We went every day for 6 days and every day the same disappointment. Every guest theat was there was very disappointed but unfortunately no one on management cares. We recomand the destination for a quiet nice experience but perhaps try to find another place to eat.

I really regret not reading the reviews on TA before reserving.
I am so happy I am going to stay here only for two nights.
We just had dinner ( included) and it was such a disappointment: total lack of basic hygiene, bad food, dirty restaurant with rude staff. I would be ashamed to be called a 4 star location and to have a buffet looking like the one we had tonight: totally disgusting. I made some observations regarding Covid rules and some young man from staff answered back and said that it is the tourists ‘ fault because they are careless and dirty (!!)
From what I’ve noticed so far walls are very thin and you can hear the people in the nexr door room. But I am more worried about the running water which has a strange colour, making me wonder if it is safe to use it for bathing.
Oh, and the mosquitos!! And no net at the windows!!

The most beautiful location in the world!
A magical place, separated from everyday life, where we go at least twice a year. The location is ideal for families with children, but also for couples.
The rooms are clean; we stayed in all types of rooms, but we liked the bungalows the most. The staff is so kind, that sometimes they give you the impression that you are part of their family and they do their best to make you feel good.
The food is wonderful, with mediterranean characteristics, with options for all tastes - both for fish lovers and for those with other culinary preferences.
The resort has many facilities, but I recommend walking to Sfantu Gheorghe beach (ca. 10-15 min) and the beach itself and also the boat trips.
A place where you want to come back, as soon as you left it!
