I really enjoyed my stay at Negaar Guest house! The place is cozy and homey, the host, Mohammad goes above and beyond to make sure his guests feel like home and enjoy their time. He always offers small snacks to try, amazing herbal tea, tells us about Iranian culture and Persian medicine… I learned so much about the place and Iranian culture from him. In addition, you could also enjoy the delicious traditional Iranian food made by his mother at home, they are a must-try! Also check out the tours as there is a variety of interesting stuff to do during your stay!
I stayed here in October for 2 nights and also booked the Desert tour along with Desert camping. The property is very nice, with a lovely courtyard that I often hung out at in the mornings and evening, my room was lovely - super clean, very large and very comfortable. Mohammad attended to me during my entire trip and he was a joy to be with - so kind, smart and speaks fluent english! And we did the medicinal tea thing and that was super interesting too. The best part was the camping trip that he organized - Varzaneh desert was beautiful at night with a million stars (don’t miss out on this!) camp dinner was superb and Hassan, my caretaker, made sure my tent was set up nice and warm and that I stayed safe throughout the night. I’d repeat this experience all over again if I could!! Mohammad even gave me a ride to Isfahan (he was heading there the same morning I was) and that was so much nicer than being in a taxi. Highly recommend this place if you get to Varzaneh!…
As a tour guide of incoming tours to Iran, I always travel between different cities in Iran guiding my tourists. We had 1 night accommodation in Nagar guesthouse with my tourists from Slovakia. We booked a full desert tour with him to experience visiting of the salt lake and sand dunes and dinner at desert. The owner, Mohamad is a nice and hospitable man who is born in the town but lived in European countries for some years. He came back to his hometown and stablished his guesthouse by the help of his father. We were completely satisfied with accomadion and tour.
The place is beautiful but the owner is very inconvenient. At the end he gives a postcard for us to make good reviews of the establishment, but he is a prejudiced religious extremist, xenophobic and racist. I talked to some people who said the same, but they didn't have the courage to come here and expose themselves in the reviews
A very pleasant stay at Negar. Mohammad and the staff are very kind and ready to help you. Lots of tips and very good excursions organised to visit the desert and all the beautiful places in the neighborhood. Don't miss the Persian Medicine Tour and Tea Party at the guesthouse.
We stayed for 2 nights at this great and friendly guesthouse in Varzaneh. The owner Mohammed is very kind and helpful and can help you organize various interesting excursion around Varzaneh and also cultural tours and cooking classes. The food is also delicious with many vegetarian options (something quite rare in Iran). The room was spacious, clean and with en-suite bathroom. It's the kind of place where you plan to stay one night and then end up staying longer because there's so much to see around Varzaneh. We even got a discount for cyclists. We can highly recommend you staying there.
We spent 2 days in Varzaneh at Neegar guest house and we simply loved it. Mohamed besides being very kind, is very dedicated in helping tourists in finding their way. He loves to spend time talking and explaining the beauties around Varzaneh, which are a lot! You can see an impressive desert, the salt lake, oasis, beautiful Caravanserrai off the beaten path. We did all the tours available and we really enjoyed them. Varzaneh itself is a beautiful town, the people are welcoming noi everywhere. We reccomend to spend at least two days in Varzaneh!
I warmly recommend you to stop in Negaar Traditional Guest House where you can breathe the real Iran. Here you can discover the secrets of Iranian cuisine and taste the rarest and most curative herbal teas. Mohammad, the owner of the guest house, will let you discover the hidden secrets of Persian medicine. You will also have the opportunity to participate in fabulous tours in the desert (barbecue and starry night included!), visit the oldest cities in the history of the world and many other things. Varzaneh is a special place, you will surely fall in love with it! <3
Set in a traditional Iranian house, you live the full experience. The family owners are especially polite. This is the best part of it. They arrange tours of the desert with barbecue and this is a MUST DO. I highly recommend the seater tour. The most polite people in hotels in Iran!
What a beautiful stay in Varzaneh thanks to the Negaar Hostel. I think going to Varzaneh is a good chance to experience life in Iran away from the tourism Hotspots ... But still, the guesthouse offer a great plethora of activities, so you will not get bored! The Guesthouse is perfectly located - there is a direct bus to Isfahan but also a convenient way to get back to Tehran. All kudos to such friendly hosts - Mr Mohammed and his wife, kind, nice and humble people that you want to be around with. I have also taken a class on Persian medicine and was super amazed with Mr Mohammed's knowledge on the subject. The place itself have spacious and very clean rooms. Breakfast is very tasty and you can also order some home made food for lunch or/ and dinner. Home away from home ;-)
