Stayed here 2 nights for fishing trip. Good breakfast but that’s as far as food goes. No packed lunches available - told to go to local shop which was closed as we had early start. Room with sea view in distance clean but dated. Hot water for shower limited. Owner Aisling pleasant and friendly. Plenty parking on site. Not anything within walking distance. Local pub on site.

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting friends in the area. Our room was very comfortable with a fantastic view of Galway Bay. Breakfast was great and Aisling was really friendly and accommodating. Am planning another visit next year and will definitely stay again.

The place is nice, the location is amazing, breakfast was good but the bed was really bad, uncomfortable we couldn't sleep at all. We suppose stay 2 nights but after the first we left duo to the lack of comfort. We stay at room 3, I noticed that she asked everyone if they sleep well but to not us .. so I guess she knew or bed wasn't good any longer . really shame because we like the place.

We had a very enjoyable overnight stay on 4th August. The sea view from room 5 at the rear of the guesthouse was spectacular. After a warm welcome from our host we enjoyed a stroll through the garden, along the stream and straight onto the beach. The location of the guesthouse, just outside of Spiddal was convenient for finding somewhere to eat. After dinner we returned to Tigh Chualain for a quiet drink or two before their evening entertainment began. Our room, at the rear of the house was quiet and comfortable. Our breakfast the following morning was delicious, with lots to choose from. My son was particularly impressed with the marshmallows in his hot chocolate. All in all we were very impressed, I would certainly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting the area. We look forward to returning in the future.

We were looking for a BNB and just stopped to enquirer as to the price and availability. The rooms are very nice and the whole building is well maintained. Comfortable clean rooms with ensuite. Ours overlooked the ocean. We called in the pub which is attached to the building for a Guinness. Breakfast included and some lovely locals at the bar who have us some great advice on touring the local area. Well worth the stop.
