In what must be the smallest village in England (3 inhabitants) there is gem of a B&B that is well worth searching out. We last stayed in 2008 and promised ourselves a return visit. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with modern en-suite facilities. The breakfasts are to die for, with lots of locally sourced ingredients. Jilly and Simon...

The Manor has links to Mary Queen of Scots and the plot by the original owner, to assassinate Queen Elizabeth I. Obviously the plot failed and Mr Babbington met a gruesome punishment by law. However it is One of the nicest B&B's we have stayed in. Comfortable, welcoming and very friendly. The Manor really is a charming and very interesting...

We have been here before and decided to bring family and friends back to share in the experience. They were not disappointed. Gilly and Simon are the best hosts and always fun to talk to. The breakfast was extensive and cooked to order. The ambience of this old manor is amazing and I learn more about the history of the...

Manor farm was the perfect place to stay for a couple of nights in June. Set in beautiful Derbyshire countryside, the house itself is full of character and history and the owners couldn't have been more hospitable. As soon as we arrived the owner was so welcoming and within 5 minutes we had tea and cake and a table booked...

I have just spent a night at the Manor Farmhouse and it was wonderful. Set in the midst of beautiful rural and tranquil countryside, a quiet and peaceful haven with all the creature comforts one could want. Yummy breakfast with fresh local ingredients too! Gilly is a marvellous hostess and was very welcoming. I will definitely be returning.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Manor Farm over Easter. Gilly was such a lovely hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. The buildings were once part of a Tudor manor and the history of Anthony Babington is well worth exploring. Our room in the hayloft was huge and comfortable. There was clear drinkable spring water straight...
