Outside, the hotel had ok looks, and the first feeling of the room was ok. The beds were good, air-conditioning worked, and we had an excellent sunset view as promised. The equipment in the room was poor. No water boiler, glasses, or cups, not to mention coffee maker. We might have tolerated low food and service quality, lost beach towel promise, and angry neighbours (sparked for the very same reasons + poor building standards that passed noise quite freely) but not being able to shower or use the toilets intermittently in the rooms is something we couldn’t accept. Don’t lie about why things don’t work; if you can’t afford to fix the issues, it might be better to close/sell the hotel. At least telling your guests honestly about the well-known problems when booking, arriving, and staying has utmost importance. None of the issues was fixed or intended to be set, so we had to relocate to another hotel, the first time in my life. I tried to list a few things that should be considered constructive feedback (in no specific order): -Don’t keep 5-star ratings on the walls if you don’t live up to expectations. It’s setting completely wrong expectations. Don't try to affect ratings online by asking clients not to rate you through bribery. -Don’t accept credit cards for reservations that you don’t take payments with -Have enough drinking glasses at breakfast. I calculated less than 20 visible during the whole breakfast. -Mark what you are serving. It’s a little effort to let your customers know what they eat, and maybe even listing the allergens would not be a significant effort, really. -Have someone to guide people to the tables and keep them catered properly. -if you don’t have time to bring cutlery to the tables, have at least them readily available somewhere visible. -Ask what people would like to have for drinks in less than ten minutes from seating. -Test drive the food you are serving with someone professional…
The hotel is on the beach. The beach is very nice, secluded and private, with lovely water. The restaurant of the hotel is ok, the breakfast was very good and diverse. The personnel of the hotel reception was very nice and helpful. The rooms are not so clean and the cleaning service is poorly taken care of. The bathrooms are not ok because of the mauled on the walls. The hotel is not as fancy as it was a few years ago and that was disappointing for us.
Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed there during August 2021. Our reservation was made through a booking site otherwise there wasn't a chance that we could afford such a luxury hotel. Pros: - great facilities (restaurant, reception area where you could rest on a comfortable couch and watch satellite tv, pool,a small but decent playing ground, etc) - literally 50 feet from the beach (note that for some reason when we visited the same beach last year, it was in an awful state, looked and smelled like swamp) - great cuizine both in quality and quantity. - family friendly hotel, everyone was so nice and eager to help. They seemed quite understanding when it came to children behaviour. - relaxing massage services available to book. - umbrellas and beds available (note that you should get up early otherwise it was really hard to find free ones). - good wifi signal, enough for browsing and streaming. - there was a table and chairs near reception were you could serve yourself cold, lemon flavoured water. Even though kids overused it, they went on refilling it. Loved it myself as well. Cons: - There was a black out for a short period (about 5-10 minutes), wifi went down a couple of times, but that was probably due to a summer storm that hit the area. - Either the cleaning crew was understaffed or they did a very poor job handling the facilities. Apparently, due to covid circumstances, they started cleaning recently emptied rooms first in order to welcome newcomers. That resulted to clean allready occupied rooms during noon time (16:00-17:00). One day they didn't show up at all and we had to complain about it several times in order to get our room cleaned next day, again some time around noon. That aside, it was a wholesome experience and we'll be thrilled to visit again. Thanks for the good times Atrium hotel!…
We’re very satisfied with our stay in this hotel. Big thanks to the staff, and special thanks to Kiria Silva from the SPA, and the receptionist Melina. Hope to visit again this great hotel soon ! Ms. Silvia from Bulgaria

A Very friendly barista, George and Savvas and a great waitress Theodora. Excellent hotel manager mrs. Mallia made us feel very comfortable and welcomed.
I must mention that it is our 3-rd visit to Atrium Hotel and the 4-th to Thassos. This year we decided to visit Atrium again due to the lack of other good options in the pandemic period. We wrote an email to the front desk couple of weeks ago to receive an offer and they answered with the same offer as they have on booking.com. We replied that it is not fair that an offer listed on Booking.com to be presented as a special offer from them. The answer was: I will inform the manager about this. In the end the price was the same but they accepted us with only one night prepayment for the entire stay ( not as they wanted with 50% prepayment). Upon our arrival that told us that we need to pay from the begging the entire cost of the accommodation, really in a 4 stars hotel I consider this is an inappropriate request. They told us it is a new rule of the hotel management. Really?!? This is not welcoming at all!!! The room is nice, actually we chose this hotel because of the size of the superior maissonette ( in the previous years we had an executive maissonette). The maissonette includes 1 double bed downstairs and 3 single beds upstairs, 2 bathrooms, 2 terraces that are extremely tidy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good but unlike the previous yers they reduced the cost by reducing the quality of the food and drinks. So instead of fresh orange juice they are serving some regular juice in some jars not labeled ( so you don’t know what is inside). The diversity of the products is lower than it used to be ( a big minus for the new management) The COVID rules are NOT as I expected: so the personal in the restaurant do not wear any mask at all or wear it in an inappropriate way ( under the mouth). Some of them are wearing some face shields but lifted so from my point of view totally useless!!! Also they do not disinfect the table and chairs after each client. The service is provided by the staff but they are wearing the same gloves when serving, I haven’t seen them using the antibacterial gel after doing different activities. And with the same gloves they clean the table after one client and after they bring you the fork and knife... so instead of limiting the interaction between guests actually they are forcing us to “interact”. Their idea of pandemic rules include one completely WRONG, the toilet on the pool is closed due to COVID. As far as I know limiting the Covid spreading means first of all hygiene and to wash your hands with water and soap. So how can guests do that when that are at the pool or at the private beach in front of the hotel? Really in a 4 star hotel you are supposed to go in to your room at the second floor to use the bathroom or to wash your hands??? TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Only one person is cleaning at the pool and I saw him picking garbage with his hands in the morning and after he was arranging the sun-beds and tables.Obviously without washing his hands. So from my point of view the new management has reduced the cost by reducing the quality and the personal that used to work here. This is the unpleasant surprise of this vacation in Atrium this year. For me this are some reasons that in the future to book my vacation elsewhere.…
We visited atrium hotel in Potos on Thassos Island recently...we were happy with our stay there...the staff excellent, extremely friendly and helpful...the rooms and other areas of the hotel were clean and quite comfortable...the varied breakfast worthy of 4 stars...we highly recommend it
The best hotel in Thassos Island so far. The rooms are clean, fully equipped and modern. You can choose to spend your day between the big and clean pool or the great beach in front of the hotel. The food was amazing and the prices is perfect for what you get and even cheaper than other restaurants nearby. The staff working there makes you feeling so comfortable and they always smiling and are ready to help you with everything. Just a perfect place to spend your holidays and totally recommended.
