The Poseidonia Beach Hotel is now under new management as it is now being run by its owners. It is an upscale hotel located in a prime location in Limassol Bay, between the areas of Yermasoyia and Amathus. The hotel is set amidst stunning landscaped gardens which offer an idyllic retreat for a relaxing getaway in Cyprus and offers its guests have the choice of having Bed & Breakfast, Half Board or All Inclusive. Most importantly, the Poseidonia Beach Hotel tells the story of the legacy of Poseidon - the God of the Sea - it is imbedded in every room, hallway and restaurant. The new management of the hotel cares about its guests' stories as much as its own and aims to create an experience in which both stories are combined and transformed into lasting memories..

The Poseidonia beach hotel is located on a nice beach and not far from the centre of town. Rooms are relatively modern, spacious and quite comfortable. Some facilities were closed due to the pandemic, but I was impressed to see the beach lounger attendants clean and disinfect the chairs diligently each time after a guest left or arrived. A la carte breakfast was also very good and waiting staff on the ball.

We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your experience with us at the Poseidonia Beach Hotel. As you have rightly mentioned, some facilities were not operating inline with the Health Protocols, and our team made sure to have a safe environment throughout the hotel by disinfecting and following strict procedures complying with the ministries regulations. We are happy to know that you have enjoyed your spacious room, the quality of our breakfast and the service. We hope to welcome you again, once everything goes back to normal, for you to take full advantage of our facilities and ideal location on Limassol Bay.

We went for Christmas Lunch Buffet. The greeting at the hotel foyer was very professional and polite. The dining room was well laid out with all due Covid regulations taken care of. New masks were available if anyone needed. Guest were reminded where appropriate that moving around required a mask. The choice of Buffet food was outstanding and everything I tried was superb. My wife had some different choices and hers were just as good. The general buffet layout was very professional and each dish was clearly signed and multi lingual staff available at strategic positions to answer questions or assist. The waiting staff were very attentive but not over bearing. The price was very reasonable especially when one considers the choices. An excellent choice for us.

Swimming pool, sunbeds on the grass, sunbeds near the sea, few meters from the hotel to the sea, good breakfast, nice view from the room's balcony, large room, nice environment, nice garden and most of all very clean. Even the hotel is not a new one and here there the age could be seen on the furniture, technical level or accessories the staff do all the best to make the stay in this hotel very pleasant. Everything is very well cleaned, all the installations are working well, especially the wi-fi connection which is unbelievable for an old hotel.
The staff is at a five stars level.
The breakfast has a wide variety of food international and local, almost the the four stars level.
Comparing the price with the location and conditions offered this is a good choice just to relax and enjoy few quiet days at th sea side in a Greek style.

Thank you for leaving such an accurate and detailed feedback. As you have rightly mentioned, Poseidonia Beach Hotel was one of the first built on the island, it is an hotel with a story and history. A lot of attention to details and regular renovations have kept the hotel up to standard with all the up to date facilities that you have mentioned. We are very happy to read that you have enjoyed your stay with us and we do hope to welcome you back soon, you will definitely notice new projects and updates, as we are on a mission to constantly keep improving and move forward. Best Regards from Cyprus

Unfortunately, my experience at the Poseidonia Beach Hotel was far from satisfactory. Firstly, the hotel's location is relatively far from the city center. While this might suit those seeking a secluded resort-like stay and don't mind depending on taxis or car rentals for transportation, it can be quite inconvenient. Additionally, the surrounding area appears run-down. Aside from the crowded beach and a handful of relatively expensive bars, the dining options were mediocre at best, which added to the overall unappealing atmosphere.
While the lobby looked fine, the hotel has not been properly renovated for awhile and looks dated. The rooms are particularly disappointing. The furniture is old, and the outer doors are loose, allowing noise from people entering and leaving their rooms to disturb your peace. I was repeatedly awakened by the sound of banging doors during my stay, so it's something one should be prepared to endure. Furthermore, the windows are broken and ineffective in blocking outside noise. Consequently, when the hotel hosts their 'entertainment' events during the weekends, you won't be able to escape the noise.
Another issue I encountered was that the rooms are interconnected, meaning you can easily hear conversations, snoring, and even sneezing from the adjacent room. When I mentioned this, the receptionist responded by asking "what did you expect?", as if it were a standard feature in all hotels. I politely explained that interconnected rooms have not been common in other hotels I have stayed. Once the noise got unbearable, the receptionist told me I was simply too sensitive and that there was nothing they could do. They did however send a workman in my room to drill a screw into the connecting door - I am not sure how that should have helped, and well.. it did not.
Guests are also expected to adapt to peculiar systems, such as obtaining a stick from the reception to exchange for a beach towel (which btw sets a 20 EUR deposit on your hotel room account). It would be worthwhile for the hotel to invest in a more advanced system, i believe it would save both the staff and the visitors a lot of confusion and miscommunication.
I also repeatedly received dirty towels in my room.
So, considering all these things, I would not choose to stay in this hotel again, nor can I recommend it.

My favorite hotel in Limassol, though it's not the most luxurious one. The most important thing is not to be in a super-luxurious hotel that has no soul.
Here, I feel the human warmth, (especially Mrs. Chrysoulla who is very helpful and always smiling) yet I have all the comforts I need as a spa, gym, sauna, pool, beach, delicious food, location, and above all generosity...
The owner is a charming lady and very low profile. We can see her feminine touch in every corner.. For many years, we spent New Year's Eve at this hotel and it was a fantastic experience!!
The hotel is located right on the beach. No matter what kind of room we book, they always upgrade us with a bigger and nicer sea view room, with bottles of wine and water, fruits, sweets, etc. The breakfast is delicious, especially the omelet, the fried mushrooms, and their special green olives with lemons. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are very comfy. There is always something new each time we visit.
This is my home when I'm in Limassol.

Best hotel I’ve been to in Cyprus! 100% recommend to anyone! Here’s why:
The view is stunning from the rooms with balconies overlooking the beach.
The food is amazing both at breakfast and dinner time, with different cuisines to suit everyone!
The Wanax Bar is top-tier with its food, music, & service.
The hotel is super accessible for wheelchair users (my brother uses a wheelchair). It provides lifts that takes you down all the way to the beach level and the “disabled rooms” are super well equipped with walk-in showers and open-space rooms! Perfect in all ways and made it super easy and comfortable for me & my family!
We received nothing but wonderful staff service throughout the trip. All staff are friendly, caring, and willing to help you in anyway! They were amazing! We never met a rude staff member!
The Trident Bar is so nice! It is a perfect way to end the day by going for an evening drink with friends & family. The bar overlooks the sea and is so peaceful and relaxing! The drinks and food are of high level.
The hotel is so clean and tidy. Not once did I find anything dirty or unpleasant. Our room always felt clean and tidy, and the beds were really comfy and spacious. Perfect for larger families like mine who need lots of space!
Overall, the Poseidonia Hotel provided an amazing and unforgettable experience for the full duration of our trip. I would definitely return there again, and would recommend it to anyone!! You won’t regret coming to this hotel. ☺️🌊

My borther is staying at Poseidonia Hotel and since today is his birthday I asked the Hotel if I could purchase any gift or vaucher to be delivered to my brother. Alexandros Xeni from Firtst Impression Office actually offered a complimentary basket of fruits, cake and wine and sent to my borther’s room. We couldn’t be happier with the customer service. Thank you !

The hotel was more than I expected in terms of atmosphere, beautiful grounds and amenities like a spa, gym and right on the beach. You can take a city bus for 1.50 euro and go to historical Old Market. There is a restaurant that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Part of our package was the breakfast and it was delicious. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants and convenience stores. The service was outstanding! It is also a local hotel and not an American chain which makes it an authentic Greek experience.

Poseidonia Beach Hotel is the ideal location for both leisure and business travelers. Situated in Limassol, Cyprus, the hotel offers direct access to the sea and features spacious and well-appointed rooms. Guests can enjoy a range of excellent services and amenities, including a pool, gym, sauna, and spa. Massage and hairdressing services are also available by appointment. The hotel’s breakfast buffet caters to both meat eaters and vegetarians, and the omelet station allows guests to customize their omelets with their preferred ingredients. I highly recommend Poseidonia Beach Hotel for both short and long-term stays.

This is a really good hotel.
The room is spacious, so is the balcony. I hate baths, and this hotel has only baths except for some accessible rooms which are reserved, rightfully so to disables or handicap persons.
Try and get the sea facing room. The balconies are the same on either side, its just that the city facing side is on the main road and at nighttime motorcyclists and other drivers enjoy revving up their engines and create a lot of noise.
The bar is very nice with good beer, very good food and excellent service.
Lastly the breakfast. One of the best ones I’ve ever seen. They have everything you can dream of in it and in generous amounts. Literally, there’s no way for any person to stay hungry. Amazing breakfast!!

Hello,
Thank you for your enquiry and for choosing to spend your upcoming holidays at Poseidonia Beach Hotel.
Kindly send your booking details along with the questions that you would like answered to our Front Desk Team
Thank you
Hello Amira, we had interconnected rooms 101 and 102, in one of them we had electric kettle with teabags and coffe, I think in 102 it was a biger room.
The sea view costed more.
I got a bed and breakfast rate for £70 a night, so don’t know how much more a half-board would be. Hope that helps
We had five children in our party and found that they loved the pool, being at Christmas we virtually had it to ourselves, but there was always a lifeguard.
There is also a large garden play area to the side of the hotel.
There was some entertainment in the hotel although it was pretty minimal. I think this is because it was the Christmas break probably more in summer.
There is a really good and cheap bus service from right outside the hotel to the town centre.
Enjoy your holiday.
