Our family gathered here for a pre-Christmas visit and elegant dinner. Six of us ordered the lobster cocktail as our starter, we all love it so much. All the entrees were different and each delicious. The wine list is accessible in price and complements the food. There was a crackling fire and two big red chairs by the fire. it...

Loved our anniversary visit 3 years ago, and chose to return and stay longer! Lovely location away from it all, yet close enough to drive into town. Very comfortable...and loved lounging poolside, as well as a glass of wine on the porch. A very special area, and a lovely place for excellent food and accommodation!

This time we ordered the tasting menu when we made a reservation for a Friday night. I don't like seafood much, and the tasting menu included a bunch of seafood. I loved it. I guess it makes all the difference when it's prepared well. Yum! They were out of a couple of the best Burgundies. So we made do with...

We stayed here one night on our way to PEI, and we liked it so much that we booked a room on our way back. It's a Victorian-style Inn with a European feel, as the owners are Swiss. The interior decor is historic and elegant (I felt a bit like I was at Downton Abbey!). The rooms and especially the...

We spent a lovely night at Rossmount. The husband and wife owners make a great team. The husband is the chef and every bite of dinner was delicious. The wife is warm and very hospitable. The wait staff is attentive and courteous. Rooms are small but cozy. A perfect stopover on our way to PEI!

Somewhat remote outside of St. Andrews By The Sea, but a lovely setting. Friendly staff and a cozy room. They suggested we reserve dinner at time of booking and we are glad we did. Dinner service was very busy but food was over the top in presentation and quality. Our server was very professional and made us feel very welcome....

Thank you for your kind comments and your input in regards to the windows in your room. They are double hung windows, i.e. they can be opened from the top or bottom, so if the top part is not pushed up properly, the wind can be heard. We will make sure, that now that the days are cooler, that all...

This is a wonderful inn located just minutes from the lovely town of St. Andrews. The staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. We were shown to our room and given helpful tips on tv, ac, etc. The room was small but very pleasant. There is a lovely small bar in which to have a cocktail. Very fun and interesting...
