Great location for Kew as I just walked there in less than ten minutes. Solo female traveller and I felt safe doing so. Room as always basic, clean and big. Quiet and fantastic sleep in those amazing beds

Perfect location for visit to Kew gardens, just 10 min walk away. Overnight parking fee of £6 which is very reasonable. Room clean and functional and staff very helpful. Breakfast served in nice quiet restaurant area. Two museums to visit on same road just 2 mins walk.

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast. Location perfect for our visit to the Citadel Festival and a trip to Oxford Street. And although parking had to be paid for it was value for money.

On paper this Travelodge looks like a good option with adjacent parking and close transport but it is best avoided at this stage. The car park is subleased. When we arrived the parking machine was not working and, of course, the desk staff couldn’t care less. I guess this is why someone in a battered yellow camper was allowed to live in the car park and discharge his toilet on the paving! I found the youths parked up outside the front door watching people come and go very intimidating; from professional experience they looked like low level drug dealers. The glass over the entry was shattered and the front door held open with a rock. Every chair I saw had a hole and the carpet was foul with stains and a brown track down the centre. The whole place smells “lived in” and even the ironing board I borrowed had a hole. Most Travelodges are good value but this one really needs an efficient manager to shake it up!
