A difficult place to stay if you don't speak Russian and are on your own. It took over an hour for me to check in. The clerk didn't want to take my credit card because it wasn't supported by a Russian bank. I was only permitted to pay for two nights, even though I was staying for three. As a result, I had to waste time making an additional booking. The walls are very thin and slamming doors and footsteps can constantly be heard. The pros are that a decent breakfast is included and the rooms are warm (maybe too warm). There are many restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel is within walking distance to the bus station and a shuttle service that takes you directly to the airport in Novosibirsk. You'll need a Russian SIM if you want to use the free wifi - you are texted the password after providing your mobile phone number to the service. The wifi did not work in my room during my stay, even with the free service.…
