This centrally located hotel gives a good impression when you reach reception: nice modern decoration, staff fluent in English and speaking some French, warm welcome... However when you take the elevator to your room, you are back in time with hideous corridors, small oldish badly decorated rooms with tiny bathrooms. Fortunately breakfast in the basement is nice as well as the decoration -though I still wonder why the elevator doesn't go below the ground floor and you need to walk down to the basement!

Hotel is old but renerwed and very good now. Rooms are big, air conditioned, convenient and quite nice equipped including fast free WiFi. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom id big? convenient, with big shower cabins. Bathrobe is additional pleasant detail. Breakfast is also very good and variable. It is the best choice for business trip in Barnaul.

My second stay - what a transformation in 3 years - outstanding bathroom as good as a 5 Star Great room with wonderful breakfasts Just wish the receptionist and security staff were just a touch friendly- they were very Soviet and also needed a refresh Plus an outstanding cafe on site - the best ever in Russia May be next time!!

We enjoyed our stay here. We moved from a premium room to an economy room when we extended our booking, but both were fine – the differences were mainly a larger bathroom, a bit more space, and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The location is excellent, with the excellent Free Man coffee bar in the same building, and a supermarket right next door.
