We had a great stay here! The accomodation is really beautifull and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The tour we booked from here through the Mekong Delta was also really nice, for three hours where we saw a lot. The room was very quiet and cool.
Arrived there thinking about staying 1 night, finally we stayed 3! A really nice relaxing and beautiful place, big rooms and toilets, very clean. Good breakfast included: bread, omelete, tea or coffee, and tasty bananas. The staff and the owner are very friendly people, we felt so confortable there with them!
People pay fortune for getting into isolated, quiet, surrounded by pure nature and pleasant places like this one. Here you pay a low price and get much more than expected. Shall you spend a night in Ben Tre? Thats up to you. It's not a city you must visit during your Makong Delta tour. But! If you visit Ben Tre, this is the most charming, wonderful, natural and nice hotel I can think about. Actually, as a budget traveler it's the best hotel I've stayed in Vietnam by now. The hotel is located 5 minutes drive from any noisy spot in Ben Tre. That's relatively isolation makes the whole hotel area as quiet as a countryside farm where you can listen to crickets, stare the coconut trees or just drink your beers and enjoy the calmness of nature. The owner is a nice lady, willing to make your staying as good as possible while she speaks fluent English and French, having a long residence in Switzerland in her history. I didnt order the dinner, just went by foot 100 meters to the near by junction and ordered planty of Vietnamese local meet for 2$. Bottom line: a great hotel for a very low price. …
Overall a great place to stay. The owner is a very nice and honest lady. It is very quiet and peaceful. The staff is absolutely amazing, they were extremely helpful. Made a great dinner for $6, rented us a motor bike. The wifi is good, rooms are nice, and breakfast is good.
Found this place on a booking site and was a bit hard to find down a small lane but not too far. Well run boutique ghest house facility with nice quiet rooms. Swiss style chalet look about the place and has a vintage American jeep parked in the front. Power was out when I arrived but came on later thank goodness as it was sweltering. The owner had the room prepped for me and the AC was cooling down my room when I returned from visiting with friends....a first in Viet Nam history....well for me anyway. I didn't get to eat there but had a few drinks which were very very cold to my surprise. The owner was quite friendly and talkative. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
