Normally, when we are checking possible accommodations in a specific site, we look at the property web site & read all reviews. sometimes we find the positive reviews wrong & misleading. this time, the opposite is the case. If Tripadvisor would allow us to give a higher score we would gladly choose this possibility.
Despite its remote location, this B&B was one of our best B&B ever been. The view. The room. The bed. The breakfast. Everything was perfect. But above all is Claire attitude & service which is exceptional. It is not a cheap B&B, but its value reflects this cost.
Highly recommended.

The perfect 3 day visit! After our long flight, The Waters setting exceeded our expectations, it was so relaxing, with walks on the beach. The breakfasts were wonderful. Even better, it was Claire’s personal attention to details & suggestions to help us spend our time well that made our stay so lovely. She described the Abel Tasman Track exactly as it is. We already want to return!

I still get goose bumps thinking back to our stay at The Waters. We researched this B&B in England before we left for NZ. It was the place we were looking forward to staying at, more than any other. And WOW, we were not disappointed - it was even better than we expected. Only three units, a really good size, with a divider in the middle of the room. One side of the divider is the bedroom, floor to ceiling and wall to wall glass, the view on waking is out over a large pond into a orchard. There is a balcony with table and chairs to sit out and look over the pond. But this is not the only stunning feature. The other side of the room divider is the lounge. Same type of windows giving panoramic views, but this side is straight out over the Tasman Sea, with nothing in front of you to spoil the view. It is absolutely mind blowingly beautiful. We laid on loungers outside the doors and just stared at the scene. It really is beauty to behold. Clare, our host, would bring a beautiful continental breakfast to the room each morning, for us to eat at our leisure. A great selection of meats and cheeses, eggs and fruits. A really lovely selection. A short drive to the local town for dinner, with a choice of a few good restaurants, really rounded off our stay at this wonderful, wonderful place. We hope to return soon.
Thank shjig

Hello Thank you so much for such a lovely review. Goose bumps!! I am really pleased we lived up to your expectations, in terms of the locations, facilities and service. You obviously did your homework to which makes it so easy for both guest and host. The Waters is well named with water views featuring east and west. A lot of our reviews suggest a return visit and we look forward to seeing you again.

With only three guest rooms this was a wonderful, relaxing addition to our vacation. The rooms are well appointed, modern and spacious. Claire was a wonderful hostess always ready to see to our needs and their dog Zeta was just the cutest sweetest girl! Claire provides an assortment of breakfast foods in your room the night before so you can eat at your leisure.
Thank Cindy B
