Detailed Reviews
We had bikes, and Vince was very generous in letting us store bikes in the spare room, where we could charge them overnight, providing carpet offcuts to protect the carpet. Their was nothing flash about the room, but it was clean, in good nick, comfortable, and spacious. Room overlooked swimming pool area which was very attractive and inviting if the weather had been better! There were building works happening on street, which we could hear but it wasn't too invasive. It is a bit of a drive/bike from eateries, although Toad Hall Cafe is close by and definitely worth a visit.

Overall, this is a tidy accommodation. We stayed in a large two bedroom apartment. The bedding stuff were very good and comfortable. However, I was not happy with the bathroom. The bathroom was old style with no ventilation. The showroom was separated from the rest of the bathroom area with a curtain. After every shower, the bathroom floor was full of water and this was unavoidable!
The garden area was super beautiful with space for sitting and dining! The WIFI was quite terrible!

We stayed for just a night but got more than expected.
For the amenities provided we thought it was really good value. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, and didn't need to do laundry for one night but the option was there.
There's also free WiFi. Not wifi available, FREE.
We had a nice wee ground level flat and the rooms felt nice and homey - a lot of places you feel like you just go back to late to sleep and leave at first light because they are a bit cramped and formal but this place feels like you could actually just hang out and have an evening in comfortably.
The place just had a nice lived in, local feel - the older guy when we checked out was just lovely!

One night stay. Comments refer to our studio room- no22. We did not use the pool area or the trampoline!
Good: clean room with comfy bed and pillows.
Usual cooking facilities.
Pictures on wall to brighten room
Quiet
Garden surrounds
Less good: tiny shower/ loo
External appearance is quite shabby
Small towels…
For a single night- fine. We went off to walk in Abel Tasman which is reached easily in about 20 minutes.

By New Zealand standards, it's downright bad. Little service from staff.
Very old furnished and not cozy.
Muddy and people from the reception had little added value.
Everything was open on arrival so there is not air conditioning everywhere

We stayed here as a base for also going towards Abel Tasman NP.
Place itself was really nice and well situated.
Our room with 2 bedrooms was situated on the first floor and had plenty of space. Well utilized kitchenarea.
Bathroom maybe bit tiny but hey everything worked fine and was spott on clean.
Friendly staff.
We also had a group BBQ here which was also very nice.

Clean motel on the outskirts of the town . Although the decor was slightly dated facilities were clean and the use of bbq a bonus .
We had a problem with the hot water but the owner was extremely prompt in sorting the problem out .
It was about a 30 minute walk into town . Plenty to do and see in the area .
