Coming back to paradise was just as expected! Warm welcome from Maria and staff, you really feel like family when arriving. Got a perfect room with seaview, my travel friend got a room with poolview and overlooking the mountains, very nice, not to much sun, which makes the veranda cooler. Seaview rooms have sun all day, just to let you know. The breakfast is still varied every day, buffet style, plenty of everything. I ate most meals at the hotel, as the kitchen is for my taste, trying the fried hard cheese for lunch is recommended. The place is left spotless by cleaning staff, and with the atmosphere created by Maria, Irini and staff, I can assure you will have a good time. Thank you once again, coming back in 2020.

We had wonderful time in Agali Hotel. Together with my wife and our 2yr son we have spent there 2 weeks in August 2019. I can honestly recommend this hotel for couples and for families. Agali has full infrastructure needed for a great holidays: comfortable rooms with fridge, air conditioning and ceiling fan; restaurant with delicious food (we had bed&breakfast option, which I can strongly recommend); beach with free sunbeds just in front of the hotel; small but atmospheric swimming pool at the back of the hotel. The biggest advantage of Agali is obviously Maria (owner) and her staff. They are really engaged, super friendly and genuine. If you have any request or question about hotel, Limenaria or anything else considering your holidays, Maria will definitely try to help you. For example, she helped us with organising transportation from airport to hotel and backwards. Limenaria is a great city to stay on Thassos, although it will take a while to get there from the airport. City provides you with plenty of restaurants and shops. There are rent a car companies, local travel agencies. You can also book a scuba diving in the port. You can travel across the island with car or you can use public transport which works very well in my opinion (bus stop is around 5 minutes’ walk from Agali). I can really recommend Agali Hotel. When you are there you feel like you are a part of Maria’s family. We have been in many hotels, including 5* hotels, but never felt like this before.

The rooms are way too small for four people, they have added a bunkbed to accomodate four guests. Any other additions have not been made so basicly, you are staying four people in a two-person room. The bunkbeds railing broke during middle of the night and our daughter fell 1.5m down to the floor (onto the loose metal railing).Upon closer inspection, the safety rail had been loose for quite a while. They replaced the railing with a loose wooden one which has a 30 cm gap between the rail and matress which is large enough to allow a child to fall through. The pool is loosing tiles every day and parts of the adhesive float around. Also one of the lights is floating loosely in the pool, hopefully it is not connected to the electrical system (accident waiting on happening). Breakfast was not great, nothing to write home about but at least it was partly varied so you didn't need to eat the same boring bread every day. The hotel bar is terribly overpriced as a icecream (with poor quality icecream) portion costing 8€. A comparable, in size, but better product costs about 1.5€ in a café in town.

We did not have the pleasure of staying at this Hotel which is very pleasantly situated on the Sea front however we called in for a drink most nights of our holiday at the sea front bar and found it very relaxing with lovely attentive staff. The owner was a lovely lady who oversees the place with a professional but friendly and warm attitude.

Although we have not stayed at the hotel, it was our stop off for a refreshment on our way to the centre of Limenaria. Maria is one of the friendliest people we have met. Always has a smile on her face and always willing to stop and have a chat. She also makes one of the best cups of tea on the island and would recommend a stop here. It is right by the beach and a lovely relaing place to have a refreshment
