Great place to stay! Cosy family hotel with great service. Staff avaliable for any request, we didn't miss anything (We went with our 4yr old son), rooms are cleaned every day. great breakfast and nice meals for dinner, also they prepared us the vegetarian. Nice garden (with sand corner and playground for kids), you can enjoy outside in the garden or by the pool during day and nights. Beautiful beach is 200m down the street My expectations are exceeded, we would recommend this place especially to families with kids. For sure we will come nect years!
Probably the best place to stay in Thassos. Absolutely nothing to complain. I'm giving them 20 stars, not just 5. The owners are very kind and friendly. The food is great. Rooms are very nice. Garden is superb. Very close to the sea. I'm recommending with all the trust.
The superior room we purchased for an additional fee suppose to be renovated. We found: a fungus in the shower, a leaky shower hose, broken drain grate, damaged (falling off) ventilation in the bathroom, an unconnected socket in the room with cables on top (badly insulated). At check-in, we were refused to change to another room due to the lack of available rooms (although the hotel occupancy did not indicate a large number of guests). There was some renovation going on during our stay and the room was only cleaned once including garbage collection. Offer suggests superior rooms have a sea view. In fact, only 3 rooms in the entire hotel provide it. Food - according to the offer "breakfast buffet (continental breakfasts), served dinners (choice of 2 courses), Greek and international cuisine." In fact, the breakfasts were served daily the same to the table, the food was monotonous and with the cheapest products available. Traces of vegetables, no fruit. Dinners are one dish, with no choice. Cheese products, smelly oil, low-quality meat, few vegetables. Service - upon check-out we were asked to pay a tourist tax of EUR 4 per night. A 3 * hotel should charge a fee of EUR 1.5 per night. Had it not been for our vigilance and the intervention of the resident, we would have had to pay more. The reception and hotel staff were not interested in us throughout the entire trip, until we had to pay for something.…
A very nice hotel. Well located, 2 min. from the beach. Disadvantages: 1) Average breakfast 2) Lack of water at dinner 3) Air-conditioning and safety deposit box additionally payable Advantages 1) Very clean 2) A very good service (family hotel). Everyone speaks English in a communicative way and Konstancja (a daughter) a little bit Polish and probably Czech. If you show the heart to the owners, they will give you theirs twice. 3) Pleasant pool 4) Well-maintained garden. 5) Nice WiFi A great place for a quiet holiday and rest. It is worth taking advantage of the Greek evening. I spent a very nice time there.
The hotel is very good looking and clean this is the only good thing i can say about. The staff is very cold and rude also the food is bad, cheap ham and cheese in breakfast all the way.Dinner is rather diverse but not wow.The closest store is about 3-4 km and many many other bad things that would ruin your holiday.
This hotel is owned by the rudest Greek family I've ever met. They're looking over your shoulder while you put breakfast on your plate even tough the breakfast was a joke. Cheese, imported tomatoes, jam and yesterday's bread every day and coffee that smelled like chlorine. My daughter was stressed out because they're watching you all the time. Making sure you don't touch anything or checking if your feet are clean. God forbid you bring some beach sand to the hotel. No music, no fun, terrible food, no typical Greek atmosphere. We were hanging out at other hotels and other restaurants where Greeks were smiling, thanking for your business and appreciating you. It seemed like this hotel was just waiting for us to leave!
We had our room on the first floor with the view on the swimming pool. Room was quite nice with a double bed and small TV but the bedroom was small and kind of the old one. We spent 7 days on the island and noticed that our room has been cleaned twice and actually it was enough. The food in the hotel was not the best one, for the breakfast one kind of cheese (kind of Gouda), honey, nutella, marmalade, terrible salami, tomatoes, sometimes feta and eggs, I have never drunk such a bad coffee before. The location was definitely the biggest argument of this hotel. About 50 m. from the beautiful beach with a really good food in taverns, where was not so expensive. In my opinion it is a nice hotel with a perfect location for people that want to spend their holidays calmly but I really recommend to eat in local restaurants and tavernas.…
The hotel is very good looking and clean. But the owners are not like the usual greeks you'd expect to meet. They are rather cold persons, rude i could say. Especially the elders, which do not speak english. Breakfast is a joke, same cheap ham and jam everyday. Dinner is rather diverse, but drown in cooking oil. Also you will not get any olive oil. You will need a car or bike to get to the nearest shop, or restaurants, and if you come back late at night, you will find the hotel in total darkness with the doors closed. Overall i don't recommend this hotel because of the staff, which could ruin your holidays.
The hotel is located in street with a few houses (it is not city or village) so you can miss grocery shop, more cafes or restaurants. To walk to sea is like a 2 min and sea was absolutely perfect (very pure water). Breakfast was same for whole stay (13 days). And choice is very limited - 1 bread, 2 jams, the cheapest ham and cheese, boiled eggs, cucumbers and tomatoes, corn flakes, weak coffee, 1 tea. Thats all. Hotel staff is just owner´s family - means 16 years old daughter as a receptionist and her younger brother as a waiter. Father is just watching how his kids working and he absolutely doesnt understand english. Thassos is nice island but quite small and there is nothing to do. Just to rent a scooter was funny activity for us. I can recommend the sea but the hotel needs some improvement.…
Clean and new building, green garden, short distance to the beach. Owners are reserved persons that we didnt expect in Greece....we didnt find a soup in the room and we had ask to give it for us. Food service looks non- professional slow and sometimes confusing. If you like Olive oil you should know - there isnt Olive oil on the table during breakfast or dinner. The closest shop - 3,5 km away. No mini markets on the "street" . Just forest, beach and the sea.
