Clean rooms, great staff, wi fi is a bit hit and miss. Great breakfast, help yourself to tea, coffee, cereal and toast, hot food made to order. Excellent stay and a sea view. Small bar area, lots of hand sanitiser stations.

Got parked at back of hotel as they had no permits for the on street parking at the front. There is some building work going on so this takes up a lot of the small car park. Our twin room looked recently refurbished and everything was fine. Partial sea view too. Good mattresses and walk in shower. The breakfast is excellent. Freshly cooked, good produce and lots of it. They have 2 nice rooms where you can eat so social distancing isn’t a problem. The hotel is at one end of the High Street over the road from the beach. Plenty bars in High Street and very cheap beer prices. I was getting change from a fiver for 2 pints.

Stayed here in numerous occasions before the pandemic. Staff are great and the family who run the hotel are lovely people who go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. It is the nicest hotel to stay when you’re visiting Redcar and the area. Could not recommend highly enough.

Celebrating my dad's 80th with a trip to Redcar for the weekend and with my brother also, I chose this hotel as it had ground floor rooms and was close to the beach. it was a lovely hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, but for short people, opening windows and reaching clothes hangers were a bit of a challenge, so maybe making areas of the room more accessible to shorter guests?! All the staff were very nice, but a special mention to Chelsea and Dawn, who I had the most contact with, who were very helpful, friendly and approachable - hats off to the hard working multi-tasker Chelsea! She was constantly on the go, but always had time for guests. The hotel was far busier than I expected and so were the staff, but it wasn't a hurried or rushed atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent and the beds extremely comfortable. It is also a dog-friendly hotel and all the dogs were quiet and well behaved.
