The hotel is an old hotel which has had a facelift, I first stayed here about 20 years ago. Not much has changed, the rooms are standard Scandinavian, though no hair dryer. Bar and restaurant pretty plastic and expensive. Hotel clean and comfortable but expensive, staff charming.

The modern hotel is very clean and comfortable and has a good range of facilities. There is a hot tub and swimming pool on the roof although we didn't use them and a hairdresser. The breakfast has a great variety and the restaurant manager found us a table although they were fully booked on the Friday night. The food was... More

Stayed there for 3 days in July 2016. Was pretty tired and slept most of the time. But the people at the reception were nice enough to help me whenever needed. I had a room on the ground floor, with a parking lot just outside. Was a bit weird seeing people park their car 2 meters away from the window.... More

If you arrive with train this hotel has the best location possible in Gällivare. It is a surprisingly big hotel, given that Gällivare is a rather small municipality. The breakfast was excellent. A little bit annoying with the big TV screens in the dining-room. They had also a nice place where you could drink coffee for free.

Great hotel with outstanding facilities. Poolarea, sauna and fitness all nice, clean and tidy! Saturday night was obviously part night. The music was very loud and there was a party/disco going on. A lot of loud noise in our room (which wasn't even close to the party). We didn't get a normal night of sleep, that was a big dissapointment.

Situated just across the road from the railway station this modern hotel is in a prime location. We found the staff to be efficient and helpful with local directions and our 5th floor room was spacious and modern with plenty of space to put your luggage, a good bathroom with hairdryer and large shower, and bedside tables, always a necessity... Recently refurbished hotel right in the center of town. The service is impeccable. All staff are very service-minded. The room is medium standard, but public areas are fine. It also applies to the reception and cafe. A pleasant surprise.

Gällivare is not a gigantic city in Sweden but the hotel they have refurbished is very nice and popular amongst tourists and locals. The staff is friendly and service minded. I struggled a bit with the Wi-Fi and it improved during the stay. The breakfast was good and if you have to leave very early in the morning, they give... More

A business hotel needs to have excellent internet access. Unfortunately both wifi networks at the hotel were poor and kept dropping out. Otherwise the rooms, facilities and restaurant were good. Marked as 3-star because on business the internet is vital.
